This is the message you received once you turned 10, inviting you to go to New Bark Town in Johto, to meet Professor Elm and receive your first Pokémon, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, or Totodile. Which will you choose?

 

Rules:

 

Normal KH13 and RP rules apply, no god modding, keep it PG13, etc.

The rest is just ripped from the Interest Check.

 

You can use any moves the Pokémon can use, including egg moves, move tutor moves, etc, and you won't be limited to four. Battles will be done similar to that of the anime, where the Pokémon can dodge and stuff like that, but it'll still be turn based. If you're battling against eachother, to prevent any god modding, or power playing, or anything like that, it's best if you respectfully decide who will win the match beforehand, and then act out the battle to watch it unfold, so as to prevent people from say dodging every attack. I will leave it up to you guys on how much damage your pokemon takes, as well as how close they are to evolving. Just don't go overboard and make your Pokémon evolve too quickly.

 

As for Pokémon you encounter, you're not limited to just the Pokémon that appears in the route, but you can encounter any Pokémon that would be found in that habitat. Like say you're in a grassy field, you can encounter various Normal, Grass, and Bug types. Nothing ridiculous though, like finding a Water type in a volcano. I will also leave it up to you guys as to how much damage the opposing Pokémon takes, as well as how difficult it is to capture. Again, don't go overboard and catch every Pokémon in your first ball without damaging it.

 

As for legendaries, when I put up the OOC once the region is determined, I will post a list of all legendaries found in the region. They will become first come-first serve and whomever requests a particular one first, will be the one to capture it. However, as it is my RP and I am creating it, I will take the liberty of reserving ones I want. Yet again, don't go overboard and request all available legendaries. I'm trying to make this as fair as possible, so I would like it for everyone who joins to have their own legendary, if they want one. If you don't like legendaries, you don't have to have one, and someone else can claim it.

 

As for the Elite Four/Champion. It will be done like in the anime where we'll have a tournament where you will face off against eachother as well as various characters from the show, the one who wins the tournament will become the champion, and the Elite Four will not exist, as that would be a bit too time consuming, with everyone else having to sit back as one person takes them all on.

 

Also, something I just thought up, if you want a Pokémon, legendary or not, to be shiny, you can have it be such.

Once he received the message to start his adventure in Johto, he got so excited, knowing he'd eventually have to face his grandfather. He hopped on a ship to Johto as soon as he could.

I have a bit of trouble, adding you to my posts because I don't understand the personalities of your characters.

Should we add them here or does it remain a mystery until we know each other's personalities while roleplaying?

We'll discover the personalities when they interact with eachother, much like meeting someone for the first time, since that's what they're doing.

Im sorry I just imagine these 8 kids in a room with 3 fire breathing hedgehogs, 3 bitter smelling plant dinosaurs, and 2 crazed hand biting crocodiles. is that the case? if so then I will progress with my post so i can understand whats going on first. cause by the sounds of it, there is singular of each. also be weary... Im on the verge of laughing from the thought.

How did you do that?

I mean, excluding the awesome skills you seem to possess.

I took some of the sprites from Pokechams, got on Microsoft paint, zoomed in, got my brush down to a single pixel...and smashed them all together.

How does bed time work in the RP? Does one simply choose when is morning and wake up individually, or does someone tell the time and everyone follows it?
