kingdomhearts45 469 Posted September 27, 2015 Welcome to Disney's Lost Files, where the host, KH45, goes into the deepest and even unknown creations of Disney's past. This week, we'll be taking a look at one of the lesser known and crazier creations. Let's just say, "He's Bonkers".https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qR8bw013m8 Bonkers D. Bobcat. A character that was portrayed as an energetic, crazy, not so bright, and very cartoony orange red nosed knobby eared Toon Bobcat. His design changed between sets of episodes. In Raw Toonage, he normally wore a green sweater and in Bonkers, he wore a police outfit. Besides his clothes, Bonkers was sometimes with a spotted tail with a white tip and had large knobbed ears. Bonkers is shown to have blue eyes and the spots on his fur are colored brown. In another design set, his tail was striped to resemble Tigger and it no longer had the white tip. His ears were smaller and his spots and pupils are black. But oddly enough, Bonkers mostly has the same personality as Roger Rabbit, as both were crazy in AND out of ToonTown, the home for all cartoons. Originally in Disney's "Raw Toonage", Bonkers starred in segments named "He's Bonkers", where he was put in a variety of situations, tasks, and jobs! He was almost not without he's friend Jitters A. Dog and tries so very hard to impress his leading lady, Fawn Deer. And he often faces off against his antagonist, Grumbles the Grizzly. Behind the scenes however, he has other friends. There's Fall-Apart Rabbit, who served as his stunt double. The Mad Hatter and March Hare, who were his makeup artists. And Toots, his pet dog/horn. With Bonkers in motion, the character was soon part of "The Disney Afternoon", where he got his self-named show. In "Bonkers", The Bobcat was fired due to his show being bumped out of first place because of the ratings. With Bonkers out of the cartoon business, he went into law enforcement when he, unknowingly, saved cartoon celebrity Donald Duck from a dangerous park mugger. With him getting full credit, he then became part of a police force. "The Hollywood PD". Of course, Bonkers accepted. The Bonkers Show was seemingly positively received, with the show getting a 7/10 from IMDb, stating "It's just crazy corny fun; what a cartoon is supposed to be." Bonkers even gained a Video Game for Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) developed by Capcom, who were, in my opinion, the best at making Disney games. Bonkers made 65 episodes in the show. It went on reruns on Toon Disney in 2004. Bonkers D. Bobcat was a classic and crazy wild star. Cause he was always Bonkers. Wherever he was. That's all for this week's edition. Next week, we'll be taking a look at the very first Disney stars that had personality. I'm Kingdomhearts45, and this was another look at one of Disney's Lost Files. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this

The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted October 13, 2015 Oh wow, this is pretty awesome! Haha, when I took a glance at Bonkers, what immediately came to my mind was a Looney Toons character! But you know something? I had actually never heard of Bonkers until today! And to think he had his own show and everything! Huh, it just goes to show that you can learn something new every day! Thanks for posting this, man, it's awesome to know more about Disney's past!
