i am trying to get a new computer laptop before school starts in the winter and a am completely unable to find any that suit my liking. i just dont think i can find one that i like or need.

 

 

do you guys have any recommendations for me? the only things i need are that it must be 17.3" in. and under $800

I would probably say don't go with Apple.  Those are expensive.

Hmm, a computer of that size and at that price might be kind of tricky.  I would definitely go with PC, most likely, perhaps HP.  While I love my Mac they are definitely expensive; I think mine is only a 13" or 15" and it's probably more expensive than even the price you quoted.  However, they last a *very* long time, so it's probably worth the investment.

Macs are just computers mixed with Apple marketing and "premium design".

You can find computers that are a lot better for the same price. Heck you could build a top notch gaming pc with the same money.
