Okay so I just fought Oogie Boogie on Kingdim Herats Final Mix HD at levl 1 and and used the Genie summon. And remember that thread I made talking about that summons can be useful? Well I can prove that they're useful with this video, haha .

 

This is my fight against Oogie Boogie at lvl 1 using the genie summon:

that's a glitch though isn't it? i think if you dish out a full combo and then summon someone, the strength of their attacks will equal the strength of the finishing blow from your last combo. makes the summons pretty OP lol

Yeah, it is a glitch. But it doestill help prove that summons are not all that useless as people make them out to be,

You're also using Spelbinder which, iirc, enhances Magic and Summon power.

Ya I actually remember reading a walkthrough guide to suggest Genie in this battle. In a KH movie script that I made I featured Genie prominently in this scene

I hear that Summons are just really OP at LV1. Doesn't mean they're not OP at any given time though.
