I was just browsing through the Game UK site, and decided to look up Kingdom Hearts 3 and to see if the page had been updated at all. To my surprise they now have a preorder price of £44.99, which is ~$90 more or less. I haven't used a currency converter so forgive me for any inaccuracies.

What's interesting is that 2.8 has yet to be put up for preorder in the UK, even though it's definitely coming before KH3. I realise that this is most likely a placeholder price, but it seems like the ideal figure that would be used for both 2.8 and KH3. What are your thoughts? post-55933-0-53591900-1445172616_thumb.jpg

£50 is around $70 :P

I think that the 2.8 preorder price will be pretty much the same, but you never know ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Thanks for that man, I just generally tend to double the price when I convert to dollars xD

I think 1 pound is like 1 and a half dollars or something??? I just round it up to two to make it easier xD

Yep. We can expect 2.8HD to be the same price really. Just a word of advice: don't buy any game digitally. Physical is cheaper in comparison since the prices for games digitally are inflated to the maximum. £54.99 to £64.99 is atrocious for a STANDARD edition of a game.

Honestly, I'm pretty sure once KH3 and 2.8 comes out, they're both going to cost 60$. It's the price of any PS4 game which is pretty stupid (especially since back in the day games used to cost only like 20-30$) but hey, it's a PS4 game. It's going to be expensive and in that price range of 50-60$. It's not going to be any higher than that unless it's a special collectors edition or something:

I have seen it on Amazon with a price of $59.99. However, I did take a look at other PS4 titles and they too have the same price tag. So I think that price you found is a typical price for any PS4 title released or unreleased.

Do you really believe that a AAA game is going to cost 90$? No. Just another error in their part.

If you read Oil's post you would have learned that it's more around $70. The conversion was an error on my part. Also, £45 is the normal price for any old ps4 game in the UK, unfortunately, but yeah I do expect this to be more or less the price of an AAA game. In fact I thought it would be higher, as the preorder price of 2.8 is $60 and companies tend to keep the figure the same in other countries with no regard of value. So, yeah, while it may be an error or a placeholder, it gives a pretty damn good estimate. ;D
