Are they the same game or there are differenes?

Featured Replies

Well...if I remember correctly...each game takes place in a WHOLE new dimension.

It says so in one of the news updates somewhere....

Technically it's a web browser version.

They have the same story but with different gameplay, for now at least. The story will most likely stay the same, but as of now, they're the same.

The main difference is gameplay. Other than that, story is the same, but apparently there isn't any open world exploration in Unchained X, unlike it's web browser counterpart, which does. Unchained X is set in stages, from what I've heard.

the gameplay of Kingdom Hearts X and Kingdom Hearts Unchained X is exactly the same ... Only change the fact that there are X cards instead Unchained X there are medals.

That is incorrect.

In X everything is pretty automated, you get to choose the order of your cards.

In Unchained X, gameplay is more strategic, placement of medals, able to control your attacks between tapping, sliding, using special ability, etc.

I speak from what I've seen X because I have not seen and only played ux instead I played ... however I was responding to the fact that none of the two games (if I remember correctly) is open world

I don't know why you'd be saying this since you have no control over the order of your cards in battle. You can make 'em look nice in your deck (have all your Sora cards next to each other etc etc) but that has no bearing on when they activate in battle. It's all the luck of the draw, both literally and figuratively ;)

Edit @ above: Chi is just as open world as any of the other Kingdom Hearts games. All of the locations in each specific world are connected (save one place in Daybreak Town) and you can visit them whenever you like, assuming you've unlocked them.

well i guess that isn't having control in anyway then?

I could have worded it better.
