I can't chat with people, is this only happening to me?

 

This happens whenever there's an event like this. Because of the huge influx of visitors the site gets when big news comes, the mods have to take down the chat in order to prevent the site from crashing. It should be back in a few hours.

Yeah, this place was crashing like crazy about 30 minutes ago. If disabling the chat helped with that, then I know I'll be fine for a while, considering how I rarely use that thing anyway.

That screenshot makes no sense since the chat disappears for you when you're posting a topic.

 

But yeah, it was taken down to save the site from crashing since we usually get many visitors during huge events like this.
