Hey there. How's it going? Ready to take on BBS yet? It's only two weeks away... anyway let's stick to the subject. In Kingdom Hearts 3D things seem to mix in different ways. Like for example the Raining of Sora's, Twilight Thorn in Traverse Town... it looks like if it were through different dimensions and everything was all messed up... SO!! Wouldn't it be cool to play as Young Sora and Young Riku? and also, to balance things, wouldn't it be cool to fight against baby/child heartless and nobodies in some part of the game? What do you think???

Tetsuya Nomura said that 3D would be in the current timeline of games. So I'm assuing Sora won't be a little kid. I mean, I know in BBS he would have been a kid, but I'm not sure that's what he's referring to.

 

Yes I know about that but like I told you... Even though it takes place on the current timeline of the other games it appears to be kinda mixed... what if he gets transformed into it's kid form or if everything it's inside a dream or something and he has to TRUST in the things that happened even when he was a kid... But anyway it would be cool for me.

I think somehow it's going to tie into what happend after bbs. Cause that was when Kairi came to the island. I know someone posted a thread saying it was when sora was sleeping. And he was going thru his memories. But sora lost that kairi exested because of Xion.

I'm personally going to believe that this takes place after KH2 and Re:coded. As for how, it ties into the Secret Ending of BbS.

In the ending of the game, Ansem is shown and states that while Sora was sleeping in Namine's pod, Ansem hid his research data within his body. My belief is that Ansem's data is affecting Sora's memory and causing a sort of datascape within Sora's own heart. Riku's there because Sora can connect his heart to others (like with Ven), so Sora called out for help, and Riku got sucked into the datascape, too.

 

Once within, their memories become jumbled up, hence their KH1 outfits and the Twilight Thorn in Traverse Town and things such as that. Although, it's just a theory, but there ya go.

not really. It makes more sense to me than the theory that 3D takes place during sora's sleep. Sure, it might not be perfect, but it is still a decent theory.

Kairi doesn't exist because of Xion?? Xion is Kairi, made from Sora's memories.

Anyway, I'm not sure it would make much sense to have a game in that timeline. Sora's got no Keyblade, he's not fighting Heartless--I mean, there wouldn't be much to do. Cute as he, Riku, and Kairi are as little kids, it'd get boring. Maybe they'd just have a short flashback to when that happened?

I don't think it's a good idea to have a game based around playing as little sora. I don't see how it would make sense, and I mean really, what would we do? Play tag. The whole timeline of kh3D is confusing, and I mean I guess if it's all messed up you could throw in playing as little sora. I wouldn't want to play as little sora for more than a mini-game or something of the sort though. I like the theory that it takes place while sora is sleeping, it makes the most sense to me as of now. More importantly, I would not want to fight baby child heartless. That is mean, I don't care if sora is the same age as them. Plus the only way to seperate the baby heartless from the regular heartless would be to make the look like baby heartless, and I already thing shadow heartless are cute. I can't destroy baby heartless, they would be too cute.

Actually I didn't stated that would be cool to play as Little Sora and Little Riku THE WHOLE GAME, I just meant like in some part of the game you get transformed into that but you have your keyblade so you would be like WTF and then there are this kid heartless with bomb balloons or shadow babies that have dark toys or something like that and you have to trust on the things that happened while Sora and Riku were little or even to TRUST that is really happening. Only lke a part of the story.

I think that would be cool but it proably wouldnt happen though.

I actually like the idea of playing as young Sora and Riku...they're not as annoying as they are when they're teenagers. (And, for one reason or another, they remind me of the Chibis from Sukisho. ._. That kinda makes me like them more.)

But, even though it's a good theory...I just can't see that happening.
