It is indeed entirely possible that if and when we get a new trailer, it'll be better and may potentially have a release date, if Square is willing to tell us this early in the game.

 

Whatever the case, this game is still in Alpha Stage, maybe even still Pre-Alpha, so information will become more and more regular as time goes on so we'll know how far along development is. :)

Honestly, while I'm still sad we haven't gotten the trailers, I'm not mad at Square.  You're right!  Who knows that if we get the trailer later down the road, it'll include surprises we didn't expect to see?  We all have to think positive moving forward, and we have to hope we get at least the smallest bit of tidbits regarding the game's overall progress!  And also, I agree, three screenshots are better than zero, am I right?
