Posted November 17, 20159 yr I'm new to the fallout franchise and I wanted to know If it is the same thing or did it really change since fallout 3. P.D: Yeah, I'm totally enjoying fallout 4 =D Is like playing bioshock with far cry Gotta find those fusion cores and of course nuka cola
November 17, 20159 yr i'm loving the game so far, i've been playing for 26 hours now and i haven't even scratched the surface yet i only have 2 things i don't like about it 1. there doesn't seem to be many weapons in every catagory i'm using guns and so far i've only found 3 different guns, i hope i'm wrong and there more weapons further in the game 2. every armor piece (IMO) looks bad no, matter how i mix and match they just looks stupid (i'm talking about those tiny pieces of armor) other then that i think the game is the great and a worthy candidate for GOTY
November 17, 20159 yr while we're discussing this can anyone tell me if i need to play the prequels before playing fallout 4?
November 17, 20159 yr Author while we're discussing this can anyone tell me if i need to play the prequels before playing fallout 4?I also asked that before and they told that its not necessary but it can of course make the game even more enjoyable
November 17, 20159 yr while we're discussing this can anyone tell me if i need to play the prequels before playing fallout 4? You don't really need to know much, you basically only need to know that because the Transitor was never invited the Nuclear war happend But if you want to know more about the story i recommend you check this out
November 17, 20159 yr It's amazing. Barely touched the surface. Just got my BOS power armor actually, and I got like 7 quests and 5 or 8 misc quests. Too much to do. Not sure where to begin
November 17, 20159 yr I haven't played Fallout 4 and I more than likely won't unless somebody gameshares it with me or it goes down to 20$ and I have nothing else to buy to fulfill a buy 2 get 1 free deal. From the videos I've seen and things I've read, it's really dumbed down and different from the other games, examples being F3/NV had sophisticated, fleshed out responses, whereas F4 has a dialogue wheel pointing to emotions (such as "Sarcastic). There's also apparently a gamebreaking bug that prevents progression and other small bugs, but that's not considering much as other Fallouts had some of these as well. Although you'd think they'd learn from 3/NV and make the game as bug free as possible (or make the framerate better, I heard it dips to 15-20 on consoles) so you don't have to download gigabytes of patches later to fix them all.Overall, I'm mostly operating from hearsay but either way I don't have much interest in it. I'm sure it's not bad but it doesn't seem like it's as good as the other games.
November 17, 20159 yr I'm really enjoying it a lot so far. It's been pretty entertaining just going off of the beaten path to see what might be in store for me. Edited November 17, 20159 yr by Silvia Kuroi
