I personally think it may be a good idea to have an approval system for posts. Like maybe first 10 posts needs to be approved before they are made public and afterwards you can post without approval. This can be pretty helpful against those spambots.

It sounds like a good idea but its a lot of work. We get new members often, along with bots. New members will be on traffic for a while, which will push members away quickly. Unless you mean specifically just for bots.

I agree. 10 does seem a bit much but I'm mostly listing an example.

why not just 1? Bots are exposed on the first post, so that seems easy.

It sounds good, but the easier way is to report a post or report a member for spamming.
