Square Enix has recently published their booth map for Jump Festa 2016. However, the Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue booth has not been published in the map, but since a new trailer will be shown at the event, this most likely means it won't have a booth and be shown solely in the Theater & Stage room. With about two weeks away until Jump Festa, what do you all think? Leave your thoughts below.

No booth? I take it that does not bode well for a public release of the trailer?

It doesn't surprise me in the least. The only place I can ever remember KH having a booth at was E3 (possibly TGS).

Jump Festa is not as exclusive as D23. Most Jump Festa trailers release within a few days of being shown. I can't recall a time where we didn't get a KH trailer from Jump Festa when they have had one there.

The Premium Theater event worked differently, as it was separate from D23.  The KH3 trailer from 2013 was shown as part of D23, so that may have influenced it's release as opposed to an exclusive event.  It appears that these behind closed doors trailers are mostly exclusive to KH events (2.5 release event & the premium theater).  Jump Festa is also a much more public event which means that Square will have a lot more exposure (even if the trailer is part of the stage room).  I would say that as long as a trailer isn't released at an exclusive KH-based event, it has a high chance of going public.

They probably don't have anything too special to show off (other than the trailer, of course) so they decided not to have a dedicated booth. After all, all 2.8 is, is an HD remaster (or an up-scaling of graphics, judging by the screenshots) of a three-year-old game (four when 2.8 releases), a cinematic telling the basic story of a mobile game (from a different point of view and possibly more broad. I don't know, I haven't played or seen any playthroughs of X) and a game that will probably take only 2-3 hours to complete.

I think that they may try and surprise us with the trailer without a booth
