Life is very strange… It challenges us to all kinds of events. Events of happiness, sadness… Pain and… Peace. As humans we all experience our own hardships. Our own pain. Some suffer from illness, others from abuse and neglect. Some… From themselves.

You are an adolescent in Coldridge Asylum located far upstate New York. You may be there for many different reasons. You could have been there for years, or only hours. All that is certain is that your fellow peers around you are stuck here as well. You may band together with them or against them; your choice.

Your character must be 5-18 years old

Please create a brand new character for this rp (I obviously don't know if you reuse an OC or whatnot.)

This rp is somewhat of an experiment.

This rp is also meant to be meaningful, so you may have your character to be as personal (or not) as you'd like.

KH13 rules apply.

Romance is PG-13

One character per person.

No God-Modding. You gotta lose sometime!

No killing characters or critically injuring them without permission.

No controlling other characters without permission.

Name: Rosalina “Rosa” Sansora

Age: 14

Gender: Female

Appearance:

Illness: Severe Generalized Anxiety Disorder

Personality: Rosa is a very sweet innocent young girl. She’s very kind to others however she is also very afraid of those around her. Her anxiety always leaves her afraid of absolutely anything, to the point where it's almost crippling. She also is bothered very easily by the littlest of things that seemingly don't make sense, and finds it extremely hard to just let anything go. All Rosa wants to do is to live a simple happy life with those she holds dear. She often depends on others greatly, and will cling to an ally for support in almost a sibling like manner.

Bio: Rosa was a somewhat happy girl. She wasn't so anxious when she was younger. Sadly her mother passed away, when she was eight and due to cancer and her father fell into a habit of drinking as a result. Because of this a year after her mother died Rosa was taken away from her father as it was deemed unsafe for her to live with him. She was placed in the care of a family member, who abused her. After exhibiting several symptoms of suffering from anxiety, she was advised by her school to get a mental evaluation and so she was diagnosed with a severe Generalized Anxiety Disorder. She was deemed crazy by her caretaker, and so she was immediately given away to the hospital, written away and never thought of again. This happened when she was only nineyears old, so now that she is fifteen Rosa has distinguished the asylum as her home and is afraid of leaving it.

No problem! I read it and you're good to go! Guys, we will start this rp soon, I just wanted to discuss some things first. Quick thing, I may have someone that's gonna join, I just gotta see first.Anyway, I just wanted to inform you guys more of the setting and whatnot. This rp takes place during modern time (2000's). The asylum is in the middle of nowhere in upstate NY. (Way, way upstate. Like Albany upstate) The building itself is decades old (so picture an old historical Asylum building) and the technology is very old in the building as well (70's/80's)There is the main living room where every patient is put into during the day. This room has board games, a TV (albiet old) as well as toys, books, puzzles, etc. because this asylum houses many kids it also has a Playstation 2 connected to the TV (However anything over E10 is banned) There is the outside courtyard, which has a basket ball court. There's also soccer balls, kick balls, and that one ball that I can't remember what it's called (it's that game where you bounce a small ball on your ankles but for the life of me I can't remember what it's called) I was gonna include jump rope but I don't know if that's a good idea. In terms of sleeping quarters, I had two ideas-Everyone sleeps together in one room next to the living room, a large room full of spring beds. Or there is seperate rooms, with two people in a room. (Boys are only with boys and girls are only with girls) Let me know what you guys think.Finally, in terms of staff- I'm going to let you guys control 'NPC's' as staff. I will be controlling the main doctor. He is a very kind gentle doctor who is great with kids, and the patients love him. (You don't have to, but just saying he's a cool guy) He also buys gifts for everyone from time to time.You guys can control the nurses as NPCs. These characters aren't actual characters of ours, but again NPCs.

It's no problem, and it's really your call since it is your RP and you know what would work best.  I was just thinking with those who may harm others it could pose a problem if they were locked in a room with another person that they could potentially harm, but so long as you think it works I'm quite fine with it. : )  Regardless, I like the idea of Rosa and Krys sharing a room.  That would easily explain why the two are especially close.

 

All-in-all, I'm certainly looking forward to this RP! : )
