Life is very strange… It challenges us to all kinds of events. Events of happiness, sadness… Pain and… Peace. As humans we all experience our own hardships. Our own pain. Some suffer from illness, others from abuse and neglect. Some… From themselves.

You are an adolescent in Coldridge Asylum located far upstate New York. You may be there for many different reasons. You could have been there for years, or only hours. All that is certain is that your fellow peers around you are stuck here as well. You may band together with them or against them; your choice.

Your character must be 5-18 years old

Please create a brand new character for this rp (I obviously don't know if you reuse an OC or whatnot.)

This rp is somewhat of an experiment.

This rp is also meant to be meaningful, so you may have your character to be as personal (or not) as you'd like.

KH13 rules apply.

Romance is PG-13

One character per person.

No God-Modding. You gotta lose sometime!

No killing characters or critically injuring them without permission.

No controlling other characters without permission.

Name: Rosalina “Rosa” Sansora

Age: 14

Gender: Female

Appearance:

Illness: Severe Generalized Anxiety Disorder

Personality: Rosa is a very sweet innocent young girl. She’s very kind to others however she is also very afraid of those around her. Her anxiety always leaves her afraid of absolutely anything, to the point where it's almost crippling. She also is bothered very easily by the littlest of things that seemingly don't make sense, and finds it extremely hard to just let anything go. All Rosa wants to do is to live a simple happy life with those she holds dear. She often depends on others greatly, and will cling to an ally for support in almost a sibling like manner.

Bio: Rosa was a somewhat happy girl. She wasn't so anxious when she was younger. Sadly her mother passed away, when she was eight and due to cancer and her father fell into a habit of drinking as a result. Because of this a year after her mother died Rosa was taken away from her father as it was deemed unsafe for her to live with him. She was placed in the care of a family member, who abused her. After exhibiting several symptoms of suffering from anxiety, she was advised by her school to get a mental evaluation and so she was diagnosed with a severe Generalized Anxiety Disorder. She was deemed crazy by her caretaker, and so she was immediately given away to the hospital, written away and never thought of again. This happened when she was only nineyears old, so now that she is fifteen Rosa has distinguished the asylum as her home and is afraid of leaving it.

Hey Goth, in the rp I notice you have a doctor character. Earlier I mentioned that I will be controlling the NPC doctor while everyone can control NPC nurses."Finally, in terms of staff- I'm going to let you guys control 'NPC's' as staff. I will be controlling the main doctor. He is a very kind gentle doctor who is great with kids, and the patients love him. (You don't have to, but just saying he's a cool guy) He also buys gifts for everyone from time to time.You guys can control the nurses as NPCs. These characters aren't actual characters of ours, but again NPCs."

Ahh! It's okay! Considering it's a one time use then I'll let it slide! You're good! For more info on the NPC doctor I'm controlling, he is a kind doctor that is basically the main doctor of the mental hospital. He does all kinds of different medical work (especially pediatric and psychiatric) and also serves as a sort of councelor for the patients.

You're fine! No worries! Just wanted to clear things out with everyone, the asylum is private and therefore somewhat smallish. I will be controlling the Doctor, Dr. Kraus who is a very kind middle aged doctor. He is skilled in many different types of medical practices with psychiatric care and pediatric care being his forte. He also serves as a counselor for the patients. He considers the patients as his children. You guys can control the nurses who can basically have the same jobs as the doctors in the hospital. You can also have a reoccurring nurse as an NPC too as Dr. Kraus is going to be reoccurring as well.

I just had the psychiatric doc trying to figure out how to help Kraus help Lily.

 

And I decided to name her after Shego. Because Kim Possible.

I need to know where the bathrooms are.

Everyone don't sweat it! Consider this a mini vacation. Due to the holidays I'm sure we're all going crazy so don't sweat it if you can't make a post right away. I myself can't even post until tomorrow. I wanted to post today but between work agh it's been very stressful.
