i was watching reaction videos for the direct and i never noticed till someone said something. in the beginning of the direct the esrb said RP-T instead of E10, i joke when i first saw bayonetta that it would be funny if the rating when up after this but i didn't think it would happen.....and i was right it is funny

Same thing goes to brawl. When Snake was playable, brawl turned in a T rated game.

DLC gets separate ratings, I believe. Bayonetta may be a T rated DLC character, but the game will always remain E10+.

My best guess is that it's because of the Fire Emblem Fates footage used for Corrin's trailer.

It's also probably because of some weird "sexual content" with trophies or characters. Given that Smash 4 edited the space beneath Peach and Rosalinas' dresses and cut trophies for characters with "revealing" costumes, I think that might have been a big part of it, too.

It could be Bayonetta too, but given that Fates is also a rather mature game, I wouldn't be surprised if that affected it as well.
