Lexi took a deep breath, and blew the hair out of her face. She looked at Jesse. "That. Was. Awesome!" She laughed, and then peeked around the corner. The Italian waitor was complaining to two security guards, who liked like they were struggling not to laugh at him, which only made him angrier. "Maybe we should hurry before they figure out who did it." She laughed.

Lexi bent down to pick up one of the shattered champagne glasses. She walked over to the waiter, smiled, and held out the cup to him. "I think you dropped this." She turned to Jesse. "Okay, now we get out of here."

Jesse snickered...

He pointed back towards the ballroom, "Lets go regroup." he said to her with a wide smile.

He pushed the doors open and let Lexi pass through first...

Upon entering the ball room, he noticed that the amount of people there had significantly diminished... with maybe only fifty people.

"Ahhh... much better this way!" Jesse proclaimed, quite happy that there wasnt a crowd anymore.

He head over to the snack bar and got a glass of punch... offering a second glass to Lexi.

"Shoot!" Lexi yelled, almost dropping her punch. Almost everyone turned to look at her in surprise. "I went all over this darn ship looking for the snack bar and it's RIGHT HERE!?" She sighed. "Major bummer. There went, like, ten minutes of my life." She glanced back at the crowd. It almost sounded like the music stuttered a beat. "Well, what are y'all looking at?" She held up her punch glass. "Oh, if you're all that curious, the punch is great." She grinned, and took another sip. Lexi leaned over the counter towards the bartender. "You know," She sat down her empty glass. "This tastes suspiciously like Hawaiin Punch..."

((Short post is short. I need to seriously get on a computer at some point xD))

Kari was still in the same place. She held on tight to the rail and looked up at the sky. Stars were scattered around the velvet night. She sighed heavily as she looked back down and slid a palm to her neck. Kari closed her eyes tightly..."What do I do..?" she mumbled. She opened her eyes slowly and faced the

bluish black water. "Maybe...I should just act like it never happened.."

Kari smoothly pulled out her cell and called Xandra.

Just as she was sitting down on her bed, Xandra heard her phone ringing.

Lexi turned and grabbed Jesse's arm, starting to run. The waiter yelled again in Italian, and the security guards shoved past him, running after her and Jesse. She glanced over her shoulder to watch in satisfaction as when they passed, they flipped the tray again out of the waitor's grip. He yelled something that sounds suspiciously like Italian cussing before it landed on his head.

The tray bounced off of the railing beside him, flying though the air, and nailing one of the other security gaurds. The other gaurd paused, waiting for him to stand. The tray flew into the ocean. A little boy a deck above started yelling. "Mama! Mama! Look! It's whales!" One blew water up, and the tray caught on it, spinning back towards the cruise ship, severing one of the ropes holding up one of the life rafts. The raft fell on top of both of the gaurds.

((Okay, done with my randomness. Just had to get that out of my system))

"uhm... Didn't we just speak this morning..?" Kari asked skeptically. "Anyway I'm... Good. Listen can I ask a favor..?" Kari bit her lip. This was one of those times where she had to do what a girl in need had to do. "Can I....maybe....possibly...stay in your room tonight..? I kinda don't want to be by myself right now..."

Dahlia looked into the bathroom mirror. She got even moar seasick on the way to her cabin and ran into the bathroom when she got there. She was going to suffer through out this trip.

Looking in the mirror, she noticed she looked pale and sick, just like she felt.

"Damn boat," she cursed.

Splashing cold water on her face made her mascara run but she didn't give a damn at this point. She just want to take a nap.

Dant

Jesse walked up behind Lexi and lightly tapped her on the shoulder, getting her attention.

"Hey... I'm just gonna turn in for the night, okay?" he told her with a smile.

"I got something to think about."

He slipped his hands into his pockets and walked towards the immense ballroom doors.

Pushing them open with his shoulder, he escaped into he cool night air.

The moon rested on the horizon, rising gently into the sky, casting a pale blue glow across the deck...

It was both peaceful and eerie at the same time, and he didnt know what to make of the feeling.

Instead of heading to his cabin, where he should have been, he led himself to the bow of the ship.

Jesse glanced down towards the waves as they pushed against the ship... splashing up the salty water in a gentle spray.

It was calm. Quiet...

Almost TO quiet.

"Sure," Lexi nodded, and smiled. "Yeah, night, Jesse." She slipped out the doors behind her and went to her old room. Her phone was, again, buzzing on her sidetable. "Log off, log off, and we'll be done. Do you want to-- She cut Felicia Day off by picking up her phone. She knew she'd have to deal with this eventually. Lexi sighed, and answered tiredly. "Hullo?"

"Alexis!" Her foster mom shouted faintly through the other end. "Alexis, oh, you had us worried! You wouldn't answer your phone!" (Sure I had you worried.) She thought sarcastically. (You don't care a thing for me.) She picked up a bag of chips from on top of the mini fridge, and started crinkling it. "Hi--sorry--phone--freinds--great--connection--bad--bye!" She snapped it shut, and took a deep breath. "Darn they're annoying."

(when do we get to all the spooky stuff?) Lexi sighed, and dropped on her bed. The boat rocked gently, but unlike most of the others, it didn't make her feel sea sick. It was almost comforting in a way. Like falling asleep on a hammock or something. She clutched her locket tightly. Inside were pictures of her real parents. Not that it should mean anything--she remembered nothing about them.

Someone pounded forcefully on her door. She assumed it was one of her friends. She yanked her pillow over her face. "Nobody's here," She grumbled. Whoever it was threw open the door anyway. Lexi reminded herself to lock it next time. Sighing, she pushed away the pillow. "What do you--" She cut off, seeing the seething Italian waiter, soaked in margarita, and the two security gaurds behind him.

"Oh," Lexi beamed. "It's you again. Well, as much as I'd love to chat..." She jumped out of bed, snagged her cell phone, and jumped through the window.

Jesse now sat on the edge of the railing, one foot hanging limply in front of him, off the edge of the boat, and the other keeping his balance.

The moon had risen off the horizon and now hung in the sky above, with dark clouds blowing past regularly.

A lot of thoughts crossed Jesses mind...

What exactly happened earlier? Was it just a passing fancy? Did it have more meaning then just playful flirting?

Those were the questions Jesse want answered...

Then Jesse heard a weird noise... kind of like a soft creak, like a wet rag wiping against a window.

He turned around to see a tall skinny old man, with a puffy white beard, and sunglasses.

He was pushing a small cart along that had a variety of cleaning supplies on it.

He turned to face Jesse, but then turned back to his work, as if he didn't see anything.

Jesse hopped off the railing and gently approached the elderly man.

Lexi jumped through the tiny port window. She grasped her backpack and struggled to wedge it through. One of the security gaurds leapt forward, grabbing one of the straps and pulling. She shoved it towards him, bashing him in the face, and his grip loosened enough she could slip it over her shoulder and turn to run.

"Excuse me! Sorry!" She yelled as she shoved through people. They murmered angrily in response. Someone grabbed her arm. Lexi tried to wriggle free from the person's grasp, and before she turned to swing her backpack at them, realized it was an old man. Something was off about him, though. His grip was far to strong for someone so old. His eyes glowed bright red, suddenly. "Ahh!" She scrambled madly for the railing--something to hang onto. He let go, pretending to trip, and the red in his eyes faded.

"Oh," He cried. "This girl shoved me! Oh! Oh!" People turned to glare at Lexi. "Uh-oh," She whispered. She turned on her heel and ran, hearing people start after her. She started up the stairs, and yelled. "SHOOT!"

(@DLC sorry! xD I'm impatient) Lexi glanced over her shoulder. People crowded around the old man she'd "pushed". He glanced up at them feebly, crying out falsely in pain, but when he looked to meet her eyes, they blazed red again. Only for a moment, but it was enough to terrify her. She knew the image would be forever ingrained in her memory. She squeezed her eyes shut for a second, and flew up the stairs.

Two crew members blocked her path. "Ahhh..." She stumbled back down a step. Behind her came one of the security gaurds from before. She was trapped. Lexi bit her lip and grabbed the railing, swinging over the fifty foot drop.

As she fell, she reached, barely managing to catch a flag pole. Only about ten feet directly below her was a life raft. It was sure to be filled with supplies to keep her alive. The sky darkened, as if they were in some kind of horror movie. The crew members' eyes glowed red as the old man's had. As if reading her mind, they intoned. "Once you come aboard this ship... there is no leaving." And she lost her grip on the flag pole.

((Why do you RP when I'm at school..? D: it makes me sad..))

Kari closed the door to her room after changing into her pajamas. As soon as she locked the door, she noticed the hallway. Since the boat was rocking, tha chandeleir on the ceiling was going side to side with a dim light and the whole hallway was pitch black so only the lamp glowed. She crossed her ams from the cold and walked towards the end of the hall. Scared as she was, Kari has Xandra waiting.

"There's...nothing to be afraid of..."

Suddenly something grabbed hold of her shoulders and pulled.

"AAAAHHHHH!"

((Yeah. I didnt know what to put.))

As she fell, Lexi clawed at the wood she passed. She felt splinters digging into her fingers, but at the moment, she could care less. She had to stop herself--there was no way she could survive a fall so far. She plopped down on the life raft. Lexi felt all of the air rush out of her lungs. "Ugh!" She took a deep breath, pausing for a second to ascertain nothing was broken. Her ankle burned painfully. She winced as she sat up. It couldn't be worse than a sprain.

She reached up--just a few feet above her was a railing leading to another deck. She bit her lip, feeling tears come on. She fought them back, pulling herself onto someone's balcony. Lexi winced in pain. She looked in the room, hoping to find absolutely anyone without red eyes. She breathed a sigh of relief. "Dahlia!"

Dahlia heard a familiar voice behind her. She turned around and was shocked to see Lexi.

"How'd you get in here?!" Dahlia exclaimed. She noticed Lexi looked absolutely spooked. What happened while Dahlia was in her room?

That's when Dahlia noticed everything seem strangely quiet. Before she could hear occasional voices and footsteps outside her cabin. Now... nothing.

"What's going on?

"Um," Lexi bit her lip. "Security guards, cursing Italian waitor, old man, everyone's got glowing red eyes. Oh, and once we get on this ship, we're never allowed to get off. She slammed the door shut behind her and locked it. She winced, and rubbed her ankle. "We have to find everyone else. Something's really wrong. I don't know what, but..." Lexi tossed her cell phone through Dahlia's window into the ocean. She smiled in satisfaction, but only for a moment. "Come on. Let's go find everyone else and figure out how to get out of here."
