Apparently the "fake" zelda wii u rumor is real, but there's a catch

Posted

remember guys before the new year started when the "fake" zelda related commercial rumor came out and when people started uploading the actual video, people assumed that it's fake, well think again. People who have uploaded the "fake" zelda related video are starting to get copyright strikes from a company that actually made it.

yes, you're correct in assuming that.

What? So just because the users that uploaded the video are getting copyright strikes suddenly means that it's real? I don't know what to believe in anymore.

dude, it has happened before. Remember the smash character leak two years ago? Someone's video that copyrighted by Nintendo of America therefore confirming that the leak is real.

I never saw the leak and I can't find anything about it on Google, can someone describe it to me?

So basically, it's a job application?Nintendo didn't commission it. It's just a studio that REALLY wants to work for Nintendo, do they made this for them as a sample of their work.So the video is real, but it's nothing to get excited for.

more news similar to this may come to us in the coming days, so only time will tell.

Here's a description from a website I found:"The video takes an unusual tack for a Zelda game: Instead of emphasizing Link's own quest, it depicts the relationship between parent and child. Most of the action is apparently between live-action characters, and focuses on a little girl who wants to be like Link. The video is intercut with footage from past Zelda games, but doesn't have any new footage. It simply ends with the phrase 'A New Generation Begins' and the overall Legend of Zelda series logo."
