With Beast's Castle being in X chi. It was interesting to see they have added Maurice (Belle's Father and Gaston) the main villain in Beauty and the Beast. 

 

 

I think characters that were not included in their home worlds in the main Kingdom Hearts games will be added in X chi. 

 

I mean ... Gaston and Maurice did not appear in Kingdom Hearts 2, yet they appear in X chi

 

and the Mad Hatter and the Marsh Hare did not appear in Wonderland in Kingdom Hearts 1 but have made an appearance in Kingdom Hearts 2. 

 

A lot of Disney character were not used from their original movies (I guess only the important characters essential to the overall story). 

 

If Land of Dragons made it into X chi, they could have Mulan's horse Khan and her cricket Cri kee and some of the Ancesters and some of Mulan's family and Mulan's dog (so there are still lots of characters to choose from).

The trend in Chi and Unchained is that they generally more follow the plotline of the story/film that they portray. So, for example, in Dwarf Woodlands, you actually defeat the old hag rather than some mirror thing in BbS. The only real "exception" to this is Olympus plotline (or maybe it's been too long since I saw Hercules... one or the other lol). Because some of the plotlines are not finished yet (Agrabah in particular) or have not started (Enchanted Dominion, others...) there might be some offshooting. 

 

So expect the stories to follow far more closely to the film or novel's plotline and not on SE plotline is what I have to say.

Yes it is. Beast's Castle has been in the series before KHX existed. So Gaston hasn't been in KH before KHX, who care's? Who knows why anyway? It doesn't matter. It may be because what we saw in KHX was an event that happened before BbS. Maybe that's why we see no Gaston in the series from BbS forward. Simple as that. This is a waste of time arguing about something that is not that hard to understand.

I'm not arguing: I'm correcting. Point being, Gaston is in the Kingdom Hearts series albeit Kingdom Hearts X. Let's just end it there.
