Veemon 1,540 Posted January 29, 2016 Hey there, fellow Keyblade wielders! I've been thinking about how they could introduce more, or possibly even new, spells and attacks in the Kingdom Hearts series. Some things may come from Final Fantasy, or otherwise. Hope you enjoy these cool ideas! 1) Flash(-ra, -ga) This would be a light-based magic that could send out a ball of light that homes in on enemies. It would also have a chance of causing blindness on them as well! 2) Shell (-ra, -ga)* --Final Fantasy Spell-- Like in the Final Fantasy games, Shell is a buff spell that boosts one, or multiple, allies' Magic Defense. Though useless against Physical-based attacks, it could potentially minimize damage taken by elemental magic attacks. 3) Protect (Protera, Protega)* --Final Fantasy Series-- Similar to Shell, this however minimizes Physical Attacks. 4) Ruin (-ra, -ga) --Final Fantasy Series-- Cast a null-element magic that has no effectiveness nor ineffectiveness. 5) Dark (-ra, -ga) --Maybe original???-- Similar to Flash, only is a Dark-based spell. Shoots slower balls of darkness, but have much better size and power. 6) Elementga --Final Fantasy Series-- Brings the four primary elements- Fire, Wind, Thunder, and Blizzard- and combines it into a four-hit combo of magic. Being the powerful spell that it would be, it would only come in the "aga" form, and acts as a limit, such as Duckflare and Whirlgoof. 7) Spin Attack -Vertical- Sora flies forward, spinning his keyblade around with his body vertically, and saws through enemies. *can only have Protect OR Shell activated. You would most likely be only able to activate one at any given time. Casting Shell while Protect is on removes Protect and replaces it with Shell, and viceversa. Well, what do you guys think? Probably a few seem a little too overkill. It's okay though! These are only ideas I came up with. Perhaps some of you have some ideas of your own? Tell us about it! Rock on! 2 rikunobodyxiii and Felixx reacted to this

DoDo4869 301 Posted January 29, 2016 Sounds pretty cool, especially Shell and Protect. Would be cool to have some kind of buffs in KH III (Like Aero in KH I) 1 Veemon reacted to this

Sounds good Steven Drake! In FF8 Shell and Protect wear off after a while so I think the same would apply with Sora. I recommend Holy and Ultima too, the 2 most powerful offensive spells in the FF series. Holy uses up 1/2 of your MP bar, Ultima uses 3/4 of it. They'd do a ton of damage though. Ultima is a huge explosion whilst Holy is a powerful light. (Sora being the light in the darkness and all, using magic like Holy would make sense.) Dave 5,715 Posted January 30, 2016 The only stipulation I would add is that we get the return of the finite MP bar, lest we run into the same situation as in KH2, with people spamming Reflect and basically breaking the game.
mag77 405 Posted January 30, 2016 Very nice list. Also, I think that Dark, -ra, and -ga are spells in Bravely Default, but I'm not 100% sure. (Sora being the light in the darkness and all, using magic like Holy would make sense.) Agreed! Holy would make a lot of sense, and Ultima would be awesome! Though, hopefully it wouldn't be like FFVI where you can just spam Ultima all the time and break the game. Meteor and Flare should be spells too. The only stipulation I would add is that we get the return of the finite MP bar, lest we run into the same situation as in KH2, with people spamming Reflect and basically breaking the game. Huh, I don't know if I should feel stupid or proud that I never used Reflect in KHII... I just thought that Reflect would be a lot like how it is in FF and DQ where its mostly useless, and thus never bothered to try it. 2 Veemon and The 13th Kenpachi reacted to this
KingdomHearts3 2,591 Posted January 30, 2016 The Protect -ra -ga spell is Reflect -ra -ga in KH2. I still for the list. It would look cool in KH3.
