My Kingdom Hearts Story: Rising Darkness

Posted

The first story of the series is here for any new readers: http://kh13.com/forum/topic/83888-my-kingdom-hearts-story-two-universes-collide/

The sequel begins here after the events of Two Universes Collide.

Summary

It's been a while since I defeated my number one enemy. I have fought in a dark war beforehand though. I fought in the Keyblade War and lived to tell the tale. Not many can do that. My close encounters with darkness and my dark fate have been hard and challenging to overcome and I almost fell to darkness, but I already became my ancestor as he took up residence within me and so he helped me bring me back to the light. With bringing me back to light, I fought a dark warrior with a heart covered in darkness, a Xehanort who became the fourteenth darkness, and a giant that was bigger and stronger than Godzilla. However, these were mere tastes of darkness overall. My true challenge against darkness came against my number one enemy. He was darkness and did what darkness did. After defeating him by escaping death and using the power of Kingdom Hearts, my light was strong and grew stronger. My friends also overcame powerful darkness too and their lights grew stronger. However, I forgot a very important thing. There is a saying "the stronger one's light, the stronger their darkness". I would eventually realize that I had to fight my own darkness, while clashing with a rival who is trying to replace myself and my friends. While I fight my darkness and beat back the rival, I would discover something extraordinary. I would discover a hidden treasure on Earth as old as the Keyblade War and in a place I would least expect; tucked away where no one on Earth would ever find in a place hidden to the world.

GAHHH, WHAT A CLIFFHANGER!!!!  THE TRUE PURPOSE OF THE DARK ELITE HAS BEEN REVEALED!!!!

But you know, now that I think about it...the Dark Elite's goals are actually smart!  With the new order they are aiming to achieve, they don't have to have the X-Blade or attain the power of Kingdom Hearts!  Because of those things, the Keyblade War was repeated twofold!  Polemos made sense! :O

Ooh, this was good, I can't wait for the next one! :D

Chapter 20: A Dark Secret

My dark counterpart stood a few steps away from me with shock on his face. I just said no to all of his offers and his goals. He couldn't believe it. It all seemed to make sense and anyone reasonable would accept the offers and understand. His goals did make sense- for those that serve the darkness. I understood them, but there was one thing about his plans and goals that makes it all wrong. Also, where he is pointing the finger is incorrect as well and I think there is a detail he "conveniently" left out.

"Why? Why don't you say yes?" Polemos asked. "I reasoned with you! I did my best to make sure that everything about this harms no more people. It's what you want, right? What is it? Why are you still resisting?"

"How stupid do you think I am?" I asked him. "You think I am falling for this bull? This is the same manipulation that Master Xehanort has pulled on me. You don't think I have seen darkness in action? I know what darkness has done. It doesn't save and preserve, it serves to destroy and ruin. It did so in the second Keyblade War. I saw in Walt Disney World war all around me. The place I have come to love so much had become a battlefield. I saw destruction everywhere in the Magic Kingdom; I saw the partners statue in the middle of the park and Walt was supposed to be pointing out to the greatness of his last dream. Instead, what he pointed out to was warfare and violence; blood and gore were everywhere in that park. Tell me: was that the good darkness is supposed to bring? Was that supposed to be the new order darkness would establish and thereby eliminate bloodshed? My friends and I were almost killed because of darkness! Darkness has cost the lives of many innocent, good people of my world as well. Many are having funerals right now because of it! All because it began with you! By the way, what happens to anyone who doesn't agree with you and your vision?" Polemos smirked, summoned his keyblade and just looked it over.

"I guess then I can decorate this properly," he said. "I have always like the blood red color on it. It makes it look darker and more intimidating. This one likes the taste of blood anyway and can get messy when it does." He then unsummoned his keyblade after looking it over. I thought so. He really was a liar. He is almost as manipulative as the Devil. However, I am not stupid and am enlightened thanks to my faith and embracing the light.

"I thought so," I replied. "You know? You are completely wrong in your reasoning as to what started the Keyblade War the first time. It wasn't free will, it was darkness. Individuals influenced by darkness were the ones that started the Keyblade War."

"And what was it that allowed them to do so?" he asked me strongly. "It was free will. Free will that ran rampant was the reason behind those that chose darkness. If an order was established, that Keyblade War would never would have happened as well as the second one. That kingdom would have never seen war and there wouldn't be any funerals today because of free will." I smiled knowing that I have him now.

"Hm hm hm, that free will that caused the deaths of those Disney Park guests was yours and you are the darkness of my heart," I said. Polemos turned whiter than ever knowing that I spoke truth in pointing out his hypocrisy.

"Grggghhh, look here," he growled "a new order will not allow Kingdom Hearts nor the X-blade to be sought after ever again. War will become a relic of the past never to happen again. With this order, free will can be contained and it won't be used for power ever again. Yeah, there are those that get in our way and it costs them, but people of your world will follow along with us and understand. If they don't follow us, then they become an obstacle to be taken down."

"Do you really think you can take away free will?" I asked. "Do you think you can take away the free will of billions of people and govern over all of them? Free will is a gift from God that will not be taken away nor will God rescind it. Free will is of God and of the light. There are governments in my world that have submitted to darkness and try to control free will, or rather, destroy it and the light. In enforcing darkness, oppression reigns supreme. However, even as that nation is covered in darkness, light shines underneath and in hidden corners. My nation guarantees by law the free will of the people. Do you think you can just take that away like a bolt out of the blue? We fight back when attacked and fight back hard to win. We won't allow our way of life and free will be attacked. I will not allow you to take that away from us. I won't allow you to continue your dark quest and harm the least of my people." Polemos looked down and off to the side, smirked, and laughed some.

"You never cease to amaze me," he said. "I did really hate the violence though. The violence I have caused is because of people who have resisted and/or did not cooperate. I had to have my soldiers do something to make people cooperate. Pity that it involved blood and death. It also appears that I have been caught red handed as well. Darkness is supposed to reign over and create an order. It wasn't meant to be used to create violence and war. That goal would have been accomplished the first time if light submitted and agreed. However, it did not and war did break out. Recently, it broke out a second time for the same reasons like deja vu. So, since you have decided to not fall in line even after all my reasoning and all of the visions laid out before you, I will have no choice, but to force you to comply. You have resisted for too long and all my efforts have been going nowhere. The time has come to make you surrender." Polemos raised his hand and summoned his keyblade, Dark Armageddon, and took stance. I summoned my keyblade, Ultimate Apocalypse, and took stance as well. It was quite fascinating looking at each other and seeing each other in the same stance. It was cool, but this is not the time to think about cool stuff.

We both charge toward each other in auras of light and dark and when we clash, a huge shockwave erupts and travels all around us for a mile or so. He violently parries my keyblade, but I counter back with a violent slash to his head. He manages to block it just in time and we fight hand on hand. Pushing off each other, I fire light magic from my free hand and he dodges and fires dark orbs toward me. I strike them down and then use Blade of Seven on him. The blades hit him and explode like in KHUX, but Polemos only slides back and then rushes in on me with Dark End. The final blast sends me back rolling in a backward somersault, but I land back on my feet and then run towards him again. We fight hand on hand again matching each other strike for strike. Soon, we get into a stalemate pushing against the other. I am gritting my teeth pushing against him. He on the other hand is grinning maniacally as he pushed back. Soon, I step on his foot, give him an uppercut, and start using my martial arts against him. It worked, but then he used Dark Barrier and counter with Dark Blast. I was pushed back some ways and was huffing now.

Polemos was as well and a dark aura started to form around him. I gather light power and a light aura erupts around me. We then both charge at each other at lightning speed and clash creating a large explosion. That got us into another stalemate with each of us grunting as we pushed against the other. The light and dark auras were going wild all around me and Polemos respectively. Eventually, I gathered enough strength to overcome Polemos and with my light covered keyblade, I struck him over and over giving him hell. Every strike was for every person he has killed, every world he has invaded, every friend he has harmed. Soon, I struck him across his abdomen and instead of a bloody gash there, light came out of it. Polemos was knocked back and hunched over in pain and shaking. Then, he dissipates into black energy that floats all over in the air. It got pretty high and the dark energy was still visible. I unsummoned my keyblade and started to open a light corridor.

Suddenly, I look back up and the dark energy begins to gather together and come back down. It began to form in a way and to my shock, the darkness started to form into a figure. It formed from the feet upward and it soon formed a very familiar silhouette. Once the silhouette was completed, the darkness burst forth off of the figure like a chick hatching from the egg and there grinning maniacally at me was Polemos. I gasped and couldn't do much. In fact, what could I do? I defeated him, but I didn't. No, I... I don't know. I have no clue what to think. Polemos laughed some as he grinned.

"You can't kill me because we are still connected," he said. "I am the darkness of your heart. When your body goes and your heart is free, so do I. There is only one thing that can disconnect us. An ancient treasure hidden somewhere. It is strong enough to split us apart and make both of us separate beings. That has also been another thing I have been on a quest for. To find that treasure and obtain it so I can split myself from you and kill you."

"The Mark of Kye you mean?" I asked.

"My, my, you are very intelligent," he replied. "The Mark of Kye will give me the power that will allow me to take over the Realm of Light and kill you once and for all!" He then laughed in the classic evil way. The gears in my head were turning and now I just realized something.

"Wait a minute, so then if this happened to you, then..." I said trailing off.

"Yes indeed. Perceptive of you," he responded. "I am not the only one with this little issue. Now then, I will be off. You can return back to your friends. Meanwhile, I will be finding the Mark of Kye and when I have it as my own, you better be ready for your and your friends' ends. A good party would make it all better beforehand. They would hate to see you die in anguish NOW WOULD THEY?!" He opened a dark corridor and laughed maniacally the whole time. When he entered it, the corridor disappeared as did his voice. I felt punched in the stomach and couldn't talk. I just opened a light corridor behind me, turned around, and walked into it back to the Walt Disney Company headquarters.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Adrian, Shane, and Jack were following their respective dark counterparts Agrios, Thanatos, and Tromos. The former decided not to say anything to the latter. It didn't feel right and the latter are really dark. It was best not to speak unless spoken to for anything misspoken could create a problem. Coming out of the dark corridor, the six of them enter into the cemetery of La Cite des Cloches. Looking around reminded of the Supreme Elite of the Keyblade Graveyard. In fact, they have a feeling that this wasn't an accident.

"You didn't just choose this part of the world by accident or random, didn't you?" Adrian asked.

"Hmph, you think we are that stupid?" Agrios replied.

"So what are we here for?" Shane asked.

"You three were supposed to tell us something. Well, spit it out," Jack followed.

"Alright then," Thanatos replied. "Well, this cemetery you see around us; remind you of another? No need to answer. It's just a rhetorical question."

"The reason why we are here instead of the Keyblade Graveyard is because Polemos had to show a very dark vision to Polemistis. It was brought to him by the Keyblade Graveyard itself."

"We all have seen it," Tromos followed. "The first part was hearing the sounds of the first Keyblade War. Ah, they were indeed familiar and also terrifying. We didn't fear, but felt how terrifying they were. The next part was a vision of the first Keyblade War itself. Yes, we saw your ancestors fight in that war and fate take them. We also saw the horror of watching soldiers be executed at each others hands. The screaming, blood, and gore were all very clear and would remain in one's memory forever. The third part was of the Disney Parks in ruin with warfare happening again should the lessons of the past not be learned."

"You see, the reasons behind all of the warfare from the first to the second Keyblade Wars was because of free will," Agrios said. "Free will uncontrolled created the lust for power. The aim was the X-blade and Kingdom Hearts. Unfortunately, those lustful for power came across many who wanted to protect the power from evil hands and so war broke out. Winner? No one. Everything was sent into darkness and all that remained was a graveyard forever reminding us of that terrible time and reminding us of regular keyblade wielders like us deciding to take up their keys and fight."

"We have been in the first Keyblade War," Thanatos said. "We fought and when your ancestors had their bodies destroyed and hearts set free, we became weak in body as well. Our bodies would have faded and us return to the hearts we came from, but instead, a keyblade bearer finished us off. However, just before our demise, we took a good look at the surroundings and were appalled. It was all unnecessary. So we decided that we don't need the X-blade and/or Kingdom Hearts in order to establish the new order. With this new order, free will can be contained and never to be used the way it was for the last two wars. Master Xehanort went about his goal of a new order under his lead incorrectly and repeated history. We have decided to go about it a different way and not obtain the two halves of Kingdom Hearts."

"However, we have been bumping heads with all of you ever since we started," Tromos said. "It has made our mission much harder to accomplish. You all have constantly resisted and beaten us back. The battle in the Walt Disney Studios was the final straw. So now, we come forward with this offer instead. Our offer is this: stop resisting us and our efforts. Let us take over the Realm of Light and your world and govern it. We will not harm anyone and will put you all in high positions to ease the worry citizens of the worlds may have. What do you say?" All of the Dark Elite held their hands out like Young Xehanort to Sora in KH3D. Adrian, Shane, and Jack just breathed, looked at the open hands and back at their faces. They looked at each other, nod, and look back at their counterparts.

"No," they all said in unison. This jerked the Dark Elite back and their faces filled with shock.

"What?!" they shouted back in unison.

"You heard us. The answer is no," Adrian said.

"We aren't that dumb," Shane said. "We have come across darkness too much and know too well how deceiving it is. Free will the reason behind the two Keyblade Wars? Bull crap! It was darkness influencing people that have caused the wars, not free will. Those influenced by darkness have chosen to start the war both times."

"By the way, who are you to talk about free will creating chaos and ruin when you guys have been doing that already?" Jack asked. "You may claim that it was free will that caused the warfare and bloodshed, but may I remind you that you guys are darkness and it was your free will that had the many innocent Disney Park guests killed. You don't exactly have much ground to say that you are clean of this." The Dark Elite's faces turned whiter than their normal ghostly paleness.

"I would like to know something too," Adrian said. "What happens when some decide to not go along for the ride? What happens to anyone who opposes you?" The Dark Elite smirked and just motioned pointing to the graves all around them.

"It would be a pity to just fill this cemetery up more, wouldn't it?" Agrios replied.

"I guess we have been caught red handed, haven't we?" Thanatos asked his friends.

"Yes it seems we have been," Tromos replied. "You three never cease to amaze us with your intelligence. You know, Darkness was meant to rule over everything with no violence, but Light got in the way and fought back. Not only once, but twice did light get in the way. You Supreme Elite have refused to move aside like many before you. Since you all have decided to not move aside, we will have to find the ancient treasure, the Mark of Kye, and obtain it for ourselves. Then, we will have the power to kill all of you once and for all!"

The Supreme Elite summoned their keyblades, gathered light energy and rushed in and performed Zantetsuken on the Dark Elite. The Dark Elite immediately dissipated into dark energy, which floated into the air above them all. The Supreme Elite unsummoned their keyblades and were about to leave, but then the dark energy came back down to the ground and formed three figures from the feet upward. Then the dark energy burst off from the figures like an egg shell cast off by the chick and the Dark Elite stand before them maniacally grinning. The Supreme Elite gasped a bit seeing the Dark Elite be struck down, but then form back alive again.

"We are the darkness of your hearts," Agrios said. "We are connected to you. When your body is destroyed, we become weak in body and it fades away leaving the darkness to return to your hearts. Another thing the Mark of Kye will allow us to do is separate ourselves from you and give us new power."

"With that power, we can finally kill you all," Thanatos said. "Don't worry, your friends will follow you soon after. Maybe you could all see them in the next life. Now excuse us, we have some searching to do."

"Maybe have a party with your friends," Tromos said. "I am sure your friends would love to see you before they watch you all die like miserable fools you all are and then die in anguish themselves!" The three of them laugh hysterically, open dark corridors behind them, and then walk through them leaving the world. The Supreme Elite feel like they have been punched in the stomach and can't say anything. They merely open a light corridor behind them, turn around, and walk through it in silence heading back to the Walt Disney headquarters.

Oh wow, what an intense chapter!  The clash of ideologies was awesome, and I just loved the Dark Elite in this chapter!  I mean sure, they have good reasoning as to why they're doing what they're doing, but they're causing panic and chaos, so yeah, they aren't exactly going for the peaceful route to achieve a new order, ya know?

GAHHH, EPICNESS, I CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE! :D

Chapter 21: The Mark of Kye

I came out of my light corridor back to the lot where I last left everyone in the Walt Disney Studios. When I came out, everyone perked up and gave me undivided attention. I had my mouth slightly open in shock and shock written all over my face. I was looking into space just in front of me.

"Ben? How did it go?" Sora asked.

"What happened Ben?" Noct asked. I look to my right and see Adrian, Shane, and Jack come out of their light corridor  They too had the same if not similar expressions on their faces. They looked at me and we just stared at each other for a moment. Looking at the other, we knew that we saw the same things. We then look into space again.

"Come on! Tell us! What happened?!" Sora shouted at us. I look at my friends and they at me and we nod. I look at Sora and everyone and begin to explain.

"I will explain my side," I said. "Polemos and I went to the Keyblade Graveyard. We first arrived in the Seat of War. Then he led me on from there taking the same route you, Ventus, Terra, and Aqua, took when you first fought Master Xehanort. We then approached the cemetery itself. I saw him run his hand over the many keyblades lying in the ground. He praised the world and how much he loved it. When we get to the middle of the cemetery, he tells me to watch and wait. I first heard the sounds of the first Keyblade War. I heard the explosions of spells flying everywhere, the screams of warriors falling, the clanking of keyblade on keyblade; it was all so clear. I even thought I saw the shadow of a warrior at one time. Then I saw that Keyblade War itself. The fighting was crystal clear and all around me, I saw warriors fight and saw warriors fall and then their opponents swinging down and executing them there. I even saw my ancestors, all of them, fall to fate. The scene then changed to the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. I think this is a vision of what could happen. There, I saw the sky blood red turning black, Main Street all in ruins with nothing standing, Cinderella Castle black with portions missing and then I saw something that horrified me." Here, I started sobbing a little. "I saw all of you, my friends, including you, Adrian, Shane, and Jack, lying on Main Street dead at my feet with huge bloody gashes through your bodies and faces with blood splattered on them and... anguish... and agony written all over them. I screamed my head off at the sight." I was sobbing and Sora came over to me and gave me a big hug embracing me tightly. I did so in return. I had to let it all out. I got it all out and then pulled myself together. Sora kept next to me and had his arm around my shoulders as I got myself together.

"Thank you Sora," I said. "So, that is what I first saw. After I screamed my head off, I found myself back in the Keyblade Graveyard in a cold sweat and breathing heavily. Polemos knew what I saw and he explained everything in regards to the visions and his place in all of it."

"Did he explain what they are after?" Sora asked.

"Yes actually," I replied. "He told me that it was free will that caused the Keyblade War both times." There was some grumbling of sarcasm and opposition when I mentioned the reason. "If there wasn't free will, neither Keyblade War would have happened. They have decided that they could have darkness reign over and create the new order that would tame uncontrolled free will. They claim they don't need the X-blade nor Kingdom Hearts to take over the Realm of Light and have darkness rule over. I asked what happens to those that oppose this and he merely says they taste his keyblade before their demise." That brought on the gasps and shock of some of the lights and the Lucians.

      "Unbelievable," Noctis said.

"I knew better though," I continued. "I told him that he really is a liar and his goal is to merely destroy everything we see and oppress everyone and everything. He was rather shocked I still didn't accept his reasoning and said no. We fought each other and I defeated him."

"Hey! How about that?" Ventus said smiling. "All that talk and it got him nowhere." Everyone was congratulating me, but I wasn't done and this fine detail would shock them.

"The thing is though, I didn't eliminate him," I said.

"What? What do you mean?" Noct asked.

"I believe you can only defeat someone once great Elite," Gladio said. "Once they are defeated, that means they are eliminated."

"Well, that is how it usually goes," I reply. "However, when I defeated him, he dissipated into dark energy that floated up and around the air. After a few moments, that energy gathered together and from feet upward, Polemos was reformed alive as could be."

"WHAT?!" the lights and Lucians shouted in shock. Sora let go of me immediately at the statement.

"Yes," I said. "He told me that since he is the darkness of my heart, we are connected."

"I assume you the rest of you Supreme Elite experienced the same thing with your counterparts?" Ignis asked Adrian, Shane, and Jack. They nodded in reply.

"Well that's just great," Noctis said. "It turns out we can't beat these guys. Un-believable."

"There is a way actually," I countered. "The Mark of Kye is the only way that we can defeat them."

"The Mark of Kye?" Aqua asked. "I've never heard of that."

"We haven't either," I said speaking for the four of us Elite. "We aren't even sure what it is."

"I think I can help with that," Mr. Iger said. Everyone turns to him as he stands next to Mickey and the Foretellers. He then pulls out from behind his back a tablet. "This tablet speaks of the Mark of Kye. The Foretellers here have helped me translate it. However, it does not describe what this is."

"Then we have to go to someone we all know, don't we?" Sora asked.

"Mickey, take all these nice people here to Yen Sid's please," Mr. Iger said to the little king. Mickey nodded and a light corridor was opened. Mickey went through, followed by the Foretellers, then us Supreme Elite went through with the seven and Lucians following respectively.

We come out of the corridor just outside the Mysterious Tower entrance. When everyone has come out of the portal, we enter the entrance and walk up the staircase to Yen Sid's office. when we get there, he is already looking at a book and reading it. When we all enter, he looks up at us and nods. We Supreme Elite stand shoulder to shoulder in front of Yen Sid's desk while the Foretellers line up along the left and right sides of Yen Sid's chair. The seven lights line up behind us Supreme Elite while the Lucians stand off to our left hand side and Donald, Goofy, and Lea stand off to our right.

"I saw the entire battle," Yen Sid said. "I am very much pleased that you all secured that place."

"Yen Sid, the Dark Elite approached us after the battle," I said. "They wanted to tell us the reasons behind their chaos. Polemos, my dark counterpart, took me to the Keyblade Graveyard."

"Our dark counterparts took us to the cemetery in Notre Dame," Adrian said while motioning himself and Shane and Jack.

"In the cemetery of the Keyblade Graveyard, I saw and heard some... horrifying things," I said. This made Yen Sid perk up some. I am sure he has never heard of this before for he knows that the Keyblade Graveyard is a dead world that should be tread carefully because of the terrain and possibly because of some unseen forces.

"Please explain," he said. I then told him all of my visions and the sounds explaining the sounds I heard, then the visions of the first Keyblade War, and finally the visions of the war in the Magic Kingdom. Yen Sid was stroking his beard when I finished my explanations. He was in deep thought and rather awestruck.

"Never have I thought that the Keyblade Graveyard would behold such horrors," he said.

"Master Yen Sid, Polemos explained to me his goals and reasons for them," I said and I explained to him everything Polemos told me. Adrian, Shane, and Jack also spoke up and told the master their counterparts also said the same things. Yen Sid continued to stroke his beard in thought.

"Hmmm... free will he says is the reason behind the darkness of ancient times and of today," Yen Sid said.

"He even offered me a place of authority in the new order," I said. "I refused and when he asked why, I told him that he was wrong to point the finger at free will and gave my reasons for saying no." I then went on to explain what I said to Polemos. My best friends relayed everything their counterparts said and basically said they were all told the same things. Yen Sid nodded at us and smiled a little.

"I am very proud of you all," he said.

"The story doesn't end there though," I said. "Polemos basically admitted that oppression is what he will bring and destroy all we cherish. We both then fight each other after he realizes I won't budge in position. I defeated him and watched the darkness float all around in the air." Yen Sid nodded and smiled at that statement.

"The thing is though, that dark energy gathered together again," I said. Yen Sid's smile disappeared immediately. "It then came back down to the ground and formed into a being and then there was Polemos alive as could be."

"I assume the same happened with you three as well?" Yen Sid asked my brothers.

      "Not exactly," Shane said.

"We struck them down powerfully enough," Jack said "but then what Ben said happened to them and they came back alive."

"Polemos told me that as the darkness of my heart," I explained "he cannot be killed. There is one thing that could split us making the other one susceptible to death. I believe it is the Mark of Kye. He said it was and with that power, he could finish me and my brothers off then the rest of us here."

"We aren't sure what it is," Adrian said "and hope maybe you do." Yen Sid nodded and with his magic, put away the book and opened a different one. Opening it, it turned to a specific page and on it I could see an X on it. The smaller print was the same as the Book of Prophecies.

"The Foretellers and I found this," the master said. "They helped me translate it and it describes what it is. I have only heard legends of such a thing and never told the seven lights since it was not necessary. The Mark of Kye is a mysterious power. Keyblade warriors of light that fled the Realm of Light to Earth to escape destruction understood that the Supreme Elite would return again along with the Dark Elite. It is not known how exactly they understood such a fact. They also understood that it would become quite simple to scatter and forget each other as well as the keyblade since they have no leader, no single authority to guide them all. They decided to use the sign of X (chi) as a source of power to keep their hearts together and connected and give whoever may bear it the authority over them all. It would also be used to give the bearer great power to lead over them and unite them again to defeat the Dark Elite."

"I see," I replied. "So where on Earth would this be?" Yen Sid closed his eyes and faced downward. I could tell that I am going to hear an answer I am not going to like.

"I am afraid that is not written here," the master replied. The four of us looked down in disappointment. "However, I would assume they placed it somewhere in that world no one would ever think about nor find. A place like the Keyblade Graveyard where no one would ever expect that chapel to be found."

"Thank you Yen Sid," us Supreme Elite said in unison. The master nodded.

"In the meantime Polemistis," Gula said "we Foretellers, the seven lights, and the Lucians and friends will help look for it-."

"No," I abruptly reply cutting him off. "I have a feeling that we Supreme Elite will have to find it by ourselves. You can't exactly show yourselves to the public willy nilly."

"Alright then," Mickey replied. "We'll help look for clues in the parks then. How about that?" I nodded. "Good. I actually have to meet someone important soon so you all will have to look without me."

"Okay then," I reply giving my blessing.

"This will not be easy," Yen Sid warned. "You may come across the Dark Elite's henchmen and finding any clues will be almost impossible. Look carefully." The four of us nod realizing that this is going to be a very long endeavor.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Axeron, Soraxan, Derron, and Braxon were standing just outside the door to Yen Sid's office listening to the whole thing from beginning to end. All of them were smiling as they listened. When the conversation finished, they all rushed out of the tower silently. Outside, they are celebrating quietly.

"Oh my gosh!" Soraxan said excited.

"I know! Who would have thought?!" Derron asked.

"So, how exactly do we make this work in our favor?" Braxon asked.

"We stay hidden in the shadows," Axeron explained. "We let them find the pieces for us. When they learn of the location, we head there immediately. After we get it, we take down these fakes and then we officially become the Supreme Elite. Everyone will follow us and believe us at last."

Oooh, the Mark Of Kye is a mysterious power of ancient times!  I figured as much!  So, it ensures that people would stay united without a leader, huh?  Hmm, interesting! I wonder what other powers it holds!? :O

Uh oh, and now the fake Elite know about what's going on, and they're probably going to want to take out the Supreme Elite! Gahhh, so much excitement!!!  More!!!! :D

Chapter 22: The Truth

All of us except the Foretellers left the tower and were standing in the lawn in front of the entrance. Us Supreme Elite had some thinking to do seeing as how this Mark of Kye could be anywhere on my world.

"Hey uh, I gotta get going now and get to my meeting," Mickey said.

"Who are you meeting with?" I ask.

"Well uh, I can't say. It's kind of private," he replied.

"Alright, I respect that. See you soon," I say and Mickey leaves in a light portal.

"So what would you like us to do now?" Noctis asks. I breath in and out deeply through my nose and then look at him.

"I think Noct you and your friends should go home to Eos," I replied. All of them were stunned at the answer I gave.

      "What?! Go home?!" Gladio replied.

"After all of this now you just want to send us away?" Ignis asked.

"Come on! We did all of this just for you! Why send us home?!" Prompto said.

"I don't think this will be a war like the Keyblade War," I replied. "In the end, this will be a battle between the Supreme Elite and the Dark Elite. These are the two sides that will fight each other. You all have been amazing and we can't thank you enough, but we can't keep on dragging you onward. You can only do so much before the four of us have to face our counterparts alone. It's our darknesses that are running untamed and it is us that will destroy them. Since the Mark of Kye was made by powerful keyblade wielders, I think it's best only us Supreme Elite look for it only."

"You mean that we should-?" Sora asked, but I cut him off.

"Yes, I am saying everyone should go back home to your respective worlds," I said. I heard some whispering and mumbling among everyone. Adrian, Shane, and Jack followed after by endorsing the idea.

"Would you at least allow us to stand by you before you fight?" Noctis asked. I look at him, smile, and walk up to him.

"Of course. We are friends you know," I replied and we bumped fists like he does with his friends. The four of us bid farewell to the lights and Lucians and we all leave the Mysterious Tower.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Foretellers were all in a circle around Master Yen Sid's desk and they were discussing what to do next.

"What can we do now?" Gula asked.

"There is nothing to do," Yen Sid replied. "The Supreme Elite and Dark Elite will clash and only then will the Dark Elite be defeated."

"What about the lights and Lucians?" Ava asked.

"I would imagine they can only give their support," Invi replied. "I mean overhearing that conversation and the Supreme Elite's requests, I think the lights and Lucians can do now is just go home for now and then come back when the time comes."

"I am rather concerned about the Dark Elite's henchmen," Aced said. "The Dark Elite know about the Mark of Kye and would send their soldiers to Earth to scour some more on top of what they have already done to the kingdoms on Earth."

"The Supreme Elite can handle them," Yen Sid assured. "The Dark Elite's soldiers will most definitely be looking in now only a few places for clues in the kingdoms. I have recommended to the seven lights that they perform their duties subtly and out of sight should the time come for the Supreme Elite to act on their own. However, before the final battle, the seven will stand beside the Supreme Elite as encouragement to them."

"What about us? What is our role?" Ira asked.

"Our role is to remain in the background and oversee," Yen Sid replied. "We only guide and advise and continue our research on the unknown that relates to the Supreme Elite and their past." All the Foretellers nodded at Yen Sid. They want to be of assistance, but they also realize that it isn't their place to do so. This battle will be between the Supreme and Dark Elite and no one can get involved. They can only stand by the Supreme Elite and offer them their power.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The seven lights, Lucians, were all standing around in the lawn in front of the tower. No one said anything and couldn't say anything. It hit them rather hard that they were told to just go home. After being with the Supreme Elite all this time, this is what it comes down to?

"So, 'go home' he tells us after all the hell we had been through," Gladio said.

"Man that just stinks!" Prompto followed. "I had a great time actually fighting these bad guys! Plus it's cool to save people. Now the thanks we get is to go home?"

"We aren't going home, remember?" Noct said.

"Your highness, I believe the masters said we should for our own safety," Ignis pointed out.

"Actually, Noct is right," Sora mentioned. This drew everyone's attention. "Yen Sid spoke to the seven of us in private and told us to act subtly and take down anyone who threatens Ben and his friends and the kingdoms."

"Which one though?" Riku asked. "There are six of them and only one of them possibly has the secret."

"It would make sense if it was Walt Disney World," Kairi suggested. "The Keyblade War did start there."

"Then we would have to go throughout that park and defeat any threat there," Sora said. "We could also keep a close eye on Ben and his friends just to make sure they are safe." The keyblade wielders and Lucians all agreed that they would go to Walt Disney World and subtly take down any threats. Donald and Goofy would be the extra eyes looking around the parks while blending in as the characters in costumes. Lea would show up in Radiant Garden clothing so he appeared as any regular park guest. He too would be the other eyes looking out for enemies.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Two warriors of light came across each other in the Olympus Coliseum. They were right outside the entrance to the actual coliseum itself. Both of them were wearing armor. This meet up is not exactly coincidental. One was wearing red, white, and teal colored armor and the other was wearing blue and light purple armor. Warriors of light have different colors when it comes to their armor.

"Hey, what's new with you?" the red armored warrior asked.

"Just keeping these fiends from attacking the worlds," the blue armored warrior replied. Blue armor then leaned in closer. "You know, they know of the Mark now."

"The Supreme Elite know now eh?" red armor said.

"Should we tell him that the Supreme Elite know?" blue armor asked.

"No, we shouldn't," red armor replied. "He knows the Supreme Elite have become aware of the Mark of Kye. He expects them to eventually find it and then things will be set in motion truly." Blue armor nodded in understanding and they both left the world in a light corridor.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The president of the United States was sitting in his office. He is doing some paperwork after just signing a new bill into law. He was now writing some reports and keeping track of what is happening with the finances of the United States and well as the State of the Union. He hears someone knock on the Oval Office door.

"Come in," he says. A woman sticks her head through the door.

"Mr. President," she said. It's one of the staff members for the White House. "We have someone here that really wants to meet with you closed door."

"Oh good. Who is it?" the president asked.

"Mickey Mouse," she replied. The president laughed and joked along.

"Oh Mickey has come to visit!" the president said jokingly. "Wonderful! Send him in!" The staff woman opened the door some more and looked down and motioned with her head allowing entry. The president for a moment goes back to writing, but then looks back up and sees the tops of black ears behind the couch. The smile that was on the president's face was gone now and a frown is on it. He slowly puts his pen down and stands up a little. Then, from behind the couch, a small figure comes toward him.

"Hello Mr. President," he said "I'm Mickey. Not the one you see in Walt Disney World, but the real one." The President is speechless at the sight. He is seeing Mickey Mouse in the flesh and not as someone in a costume or as an illustration. He sees the real mouse himself in the Oval Office. The president motioned the staff woman to leave and she left closing and locking the door.

"I must be hallucinating," the president said. He begins to pace with his hands on his head. "I mean, you can't be real. I am probably in my bed still asleep."

"Well, why don't you touch me then?" Mickey suggested. The president slowly went up to Mickey and put his hands on Mickey's face and felt it.

"H-hey! That tickles!" Mickey said laughing in his classic way. The president jumped back at the reaction and took a step backward.

"H-How can this be?" he asked.

"Well, I could tell you the whole story if ya want," Mickey said. The president nodded and then went to sit on one of the couches. Mickey got up on it and sat right next to the president. The mouse then proceeded to tell the president everything that Mr. Iger told the Supreme Elite. The mouse told the president all about Walt Disney and the places he knew about. He talked about why some of these places and events haven't been recorded in history. He talked about the Keyblade War and the original Supreme Elite as well as explain the second Keyblade War that raged throughout Earth including the United States. Mickey even told the president about the Dark Elite that are currently on the run and explained the battles in the Disney Parks around the world. The president however was looking into space while he was listening. It was all so much and so incomprehensible.

"So you mean to tell me that there are worlds out there besides Earth Walt Disney knew of?" the president asked. "And so really, this Keyblade War that I was told of when it happened was the second one caused by people who hold these keyblades?"

"Master Xehanort actually started the second one," Mickey replied. "All of it is true. The person Polemistis that was here for questioning was the descendant of the first one. I know Tetsuya Nomura well and he has been creating a game called Kingdom Hearts. It was supposed to be for entertainment, but it's real purpose is to tell us the story of what was out there from its beginning to today." The president had his hands on his head and he leaned over on his knees looking down into space. He shook his head too.

"This is too much," he said. "Have you any political affiliations?"

"Yeah. I'm king of Disney Town," Mickey replied. He explained Disney Town and how that was the model for the many Disney Parks. The president then understood nodding his head. Mickey even told the president about Eos and the nation of Lucis.

"Well then, I guess we should establish diplomatic relations," the president suggested. Mickey nodded and smiled. "Would you like to address Congress? I am sure the House and Senate would be amazed and come to love what you bring."

"What I bring? What d'you mean?" Mickey asked.

"The truth," the president replied. "You reveal the truth to Earth about what we don't know and explain why warfare was everywhere."

"Alright, I'll do it," Mickey said smiling. The president smiled and nodded and went to his phone.

"Mr. Speaker?" the president said. "Hi, I need you to gather Congress together for an emergency session. We have a king here to address Congress, the nation, and the world."

Oh wow, things are starting to reach their boiling point!  The Supreme Elite have decided on facing the Dark Elite alone when the time comes, and everyone's doing their best to support them!  And that conversation between Mickey and the President was very interesting!  I can't wait for more, great chapter! :D

Chapter 23: Background Forces

Sora and company arrived in the Magic Kingdom. They all wore their regular clothing with the exception of Lea, who had to wear something from Radiant Garden. A single person wearing a black coat would stick out like a sore thumb. Everyone was on Main Street USA in the Town Square at the front of the park. It was a partly cloudy day and it was nice and warm.

"Wow, this place is much nice to be in when their isn't a war," Riku pointed out.

"Yeah it sure is," Sora replied. "Ven and I were here before and it was amazing here. I was able to really feel the light here. It was kind of like a heart. Looking around, I saw just innocent people here with hearts full of light. It was then I understood truly what Ben was talking about when protecting this world."

"I think we all understand now," Kairi said.

"So what's the plan?" Noct asked.

"We act like any other person," Sora replied. "We walk through here and the rest of Walt Disney World and act like we are just park guests. If we notice anything or anyone acting oddly, we sneak in and quietly defeat them."

"Sounds like a plan to me," Gladio replied smiling. Ventus was looking around though. Apparently, he noticed something odd.

"Hey, has anyone seen Skuld and Ephemera?" he asked. Everyone looked around them. Neither Skuld nor Ephemera were around and they were both missing.

"Huh. That's strange, we just saw them at the studios before," Terra said. "They must have left when we left for Yen Sid's tower."

"And not only that," Aqua added "has anyone remembered where Maleficent and Pete are?" Everyone then felt antsy and anxious looking around and at each other. They too were missing and no one where they could be, nor remember when they disappeared.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Skuld and Ephemera walked through the Keyblade Graveyard looking around at the millions of keys lying in the ground. It was rather obvious what they were thinking about as they looked around.

"Ephemera, why do we have to be here?" Skuld asked. "You know very well how guilty I feel looking at this place."

"I know," Ephemera said. "If it wasn't for our ancestors becoming Dandelions, we won't be here today. I too feel guilt because friends were left behind to spill each other's blood and slaughter the other."

"Was it really necessary though?" Skuld asked. "I mean, did he really need to have us come here right when everyone isn't looking?"

"Yes it was," Ephemera replied. "The Supreme Elite never had to join the fight and become a Dandelion. In fact, they could have escaped fate, but we all know how fate works. In fact, I'd say fate actually helped us. Why? The Supreme Elite actually returned to us. Plus, we need to be reminded of why we are doing what we are doing anyway. This is everything he wanted us to do. Not only that, but if they see us leave, how do we explain ourselves? He does not want anyone to see him yet."

"I guess you're right," Skuld said. "So when we see him again, what do we say to him?"
"Well, he did instruct us to not show up again for a while," Ephemera replied. "He said to wait until the Dark Elite are defeated and then see him again." Skuld nodded and the two went through a light corridor leaving the world for Walt Disney World.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Dark Elite were actually together looking for the Mark of Kye. They were in the Walt Disney World resort complex walking through Disney Springs in The Landing. No one seemed to have noticed them walking through nor paid attention. The Dark Elite did notice everyone around them and observed people walk by them. They noticed the families walk around them. There were young families with little toddlers and infants, families with teenagers and tweens, single child young familes, family reunions, and so on. The Dark Elite paid more attention to the infants and toddlers and young children. It made them think some more.

"Hmmm, I sense a strong light within these children. Interesting," Polemos mentioned.

"So, the Supreme Elite made a promise to protect them?" Agrios asked and then he scoffed. "Heh, what a waste of time."

"Maybe," Tromos said. "With light so pure, it makes me understand how the Realm of Light was rebuilt."

"It's power we could possess," Thanatos mentioned. "This light was what rebuilt the Realm of Light and with that the case, taking it for ourselves would make our quest easier."

"Let's not jump ahead," Polemos said. "We do not have the Mark and if we don't have it, we can't kill the Supreme Elite and, therefore, we can't take the world for our own. We don't know where it is so it's good that we have some of our allies here." He looks over to a regular teenage boy of about sixteen years of age. The boy notices him and nods summoning his keyblade and then unsummoning it. All of a sudden, the boy is grabbed and pulled immediately into a street next to the World of Disney store and then a shing sound was heard. The Dark Elite see the boy fall to the ground and who else, but Ephemera and Skuld there.

"So, we get a surprise of two Dandelions deciding to take us on alone eh?" Polemos said.

"Actually, we aren't alone and there are two people that want to see you," Ephemera replied. Behind them, Maleficent and Pete walk toward them.

"I need to have a word with you," Maleficent said and the Dark Elite, fairy, and Pete all went into a dark corridor and came out in the Enchanted Dominion. They were all in the Hall in Maleficent's castle. The Dark Elite looked around and wondered where she was when she spoke up.

"So, I have heard you are searching for the Mark of Kye," Maleficent said. "Quite fascinating. Tis a mysterious power only Keyblade wielders can obtain."

"Precisely, which is exactly why you won't be able to have it," Agrios replied. "It will belong to us."

"You think I really want something like that?" Maleficent asked. "Fools, I have no use for that. My only desire is to take over the worlds in my own manner. Not with any advice or anything that is of no use." The Dark Elite were rather confused.

"Don't you bozos not get it?!" Pete shouted at them. "Youse guys gave us faulty advice and made us your own personal Pinocchios. We've got better ways to do our business."

"For me to take over the worlds, I must first remove obstacles," Maleficent told them. "Since you imbeciles have gotten in my way, I knew it was necessary to ally myself with the Supreme Elite. Hm hm hm, they seem to be closer to the Mark than you will ever be." The Dark Elite growled at the statement.

"Yes, in order to get my way, I must ally myself with them so I can defeat you," Maleficent continued. "Yen Sid asked the seven lights to defeat anyone who may threaten the Elite, I figured I must do so also." She then opened a portal under the Dark Elite that took them to the Bridge to King Stefan's castle. She then appeared herself with Pete through a dark corridor. Polemos laughed as he summoned his keyblade.

"You really think you can defeat me?" he asked laughing. "Ha ha ha! How amusing! Well then, I will give you a real fight you won't forget nor live through!" All the Dark Elite had keyblades in hand now.

"See for yourself all the powers of Hell!" Maleficent responded and with her magic just like against Prince Philip and Aqua in BbS, she transformed into her dragon form. Pete got himself ready as well to fight. The Dark Elite then charged toward Dragon Maleficent and started striking. She responded by biting and breathing emerald flames. Pete performed his attacks while also in his marble. He would throw a bowling ball that would explode to get the Dark Elite off track and cause them to be open for Dragon Maleficent to scratch and strike them. However, after five to ten minutes of fighting and nothing going anywhere, the Dark Elite are now angry.

"Alright, that tears it! We've had enough of you simpletons annoying us!" Polemos shouted. Then, the Elite have dark auras envelop them and they start striking both Maleficent and Pete over and over kind of like Cloud's final smash in Super Smash Bros. With the final strike, they use the attack Dark Aura, but stronger and slam their power on top of the fairy and Pete creating an explosion. Maleficent back in her regular self was sent rolling on her side backwards while Pete was somersaulting backwards. The fairy is in pain and slowly gets up while Pete is now scared and squirming on the ground trying to get up.

"Whoa! Uh, take it easy there pally!" Pete said scared as Polemos was taking steps toward him smiling manically. Just then, Maleficent begins to laugh herself as she composes herself.

"Wonderful," she said. "I feel more alive now. Thanks to you, I now feel refreshed. Don't think I did not weaken you, for I did physically and making you use power. Not only that, but I have taken you away from your goal and luring you fools away to here made you lose precious time. Quite a pity the Supreme Elite might be closer to finding the secret before you. Come Pete." She opens a dark corridor behind her and enters through it. Pete quickly gets up and runs into the corridor.

"Wait for me!" he said scared and then ran into the corridor. The corridor disappeared leaving the Dark Elite by themselves.

"Grrr! Why that little...!" Tromos shouted.

"We were used to make her feel better?!" Agrios asked angry.

"Worse, we were lured away and now have lost time!" Thanatos shouted. An armored dark soldier of their walked up to Polemos from behind.

"Um, great Elite?" the soldier asked.

      "WHAT?!" Polemos shouted.

"Um, I am sorry to say, but the seven lights and Lucians have entered Walt Disney World," he said. "They are taking down our troops in the shadows and killing them." Polemos still had his keyblade in hand and in rage, immediately swung around and slashed the soldier from his shoulder to his hip. The soldier screamed and was about to fall onto his knees in pain, but then Polemos swung just as fast if not faster the second time and beheaded the soldier. Polemos was breathing heavily now and looking into space.

"We go back and find that clue," Polemos said to his friends. "We find that clue ourselves. No one helps us look; only to be our eyes for any of the seven, Lucians, or our counterparts." They all nodded in agreement, unsummoned their keyblades, and walked through a dark corridor returning back to Walt Disney World.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My friends and I have decided to return home to tell our families we are okay. I walk through the front door with my parents coming to greet me and hug and kiss me. They are now more used to the fact that their son is an ancient Keyblade master reborn and actually are proud of it. However, they know to keep it a secret or things could get ugly.

"Hi mom and dad," I said.

"So how are your friends?" mom asked.

      "They're fine," I replied.

"So what's been going on?" dad asked and we go into the kitchen to sit and so I tell them everything from the conference with the Senate committee to learning about the darkness of my heart and of my friends' hearts, the Dark Elite, to now. By now, my sister just starts school and was in school when I told my parents. They nod as they listened and were amazed at what has happened. In fact, they saw on the news reports of the breakouts of violence in the Disney Parks and with my explanations, they now were able to put the dots together.

"Man, you've been through hell," dad said shocked.

"So what are you all doing now?" mom asked.

"We are going to find try and find the Mark of Kye," I replied. "A clue will probably be in Walt Disney World, but we aren't sure where."

"Okay, well be careful," mom replied. "And be aware of your surroundings."

      "I will," I replied.

"Love you buddy," dad said and gave me a kiss on the head. Mom did too and gave me a special blessing asking for God's blessing and for St. Michael's protection. I hug and kiss them both and then I leave in a light corridor for Walt Disney World.

Great chapter man, this was great!  I also loved how you tied in plot threads from X into this chapter, very clever of you!  I'm intrigued by who Ephemera and Skuld were addressing!  Who is this "him"?  This is most intriguing!

Also, Maleficent being her awesome, badass self is always a plus! :3

Chapter 24: New Battles

After telling my family the plan, I arrive in Walt Disney World. We all met at Bay Lake Tower at the Contemporary Resort in the lobby. There we decided to take our  search first to Magic Kingdom for any clues that could help us find the Mark of Kye. We take the monorail and head to the Magic Kingdom after passing through the Transportation and Ticket Center, Polynesian Village Resort, and Grand Floridian Resort and Spa respectively. Reaching the station, we exit the monorail, walk down a ramp and head to security. They have stepped up security in the parks with screenings, police patrollings, armed guards, and even hidden measures of security especially in light of events throughout the year. The four of us go to the entrance for those with no bags. The guards on either side notice us and they tip their hats and nod to us since they recognized us as the Supreme Elite. We nod and walk through and enter into the park. Once we walk out into Main Street in the Town Square, I see Bob Iger standing by the Roy and Minnie statue in the middle of the Square. He appears to be waiting for something; most likely us. I point him out to my friends and we walk to him. Getting there, he notices us and approaches us.

"Ah, Supreme Elite," he said "I am glad you are all here. I had to take an immediate flight to Orlando here from Los Angeles. Yen Sid told me everything that has been discussed between you four, the seven lights, and the Lucians."

"Yes, I told them all to go home," I said. "We all felt that they shouldn't be dragged on and involved anymore. This battle will be between us and our counterparts only in the end. They can all stand by us when we have to face them. It most likely will be here, speaking of which." Mr. Iger nodded as he listened.

"Okay, I understand," he said. "However, I am afraid that all of them going home won't happen." All of us were confused at the statement. Mr. Iger walked up next to me, looked toward the Confectionery and nodded looking at the front of it. I look and leaning against a white pole was Sora. I was able to see his hair and sometimes his head as people walked to and fro. He had his back turned to me. I was surprised and shook my head. My friends saw and mumbled to themselves from saying "unbelievable", "I can't believe it", "they actually came here anyway".

"I recall us telling them to go home," I say to Mr. Iger still looking in Sora's direction.

"They had orders given to them by Yen Sid in secret," Mr. Iger replied. "Yen Sid told the seven in secret once to work subtly and defeat anyone that threatens you." I nodded in understanding.

"By the way, I came here for another good reason," Mr. Iger continued. He now completely faced me. "The Dark Elite are here. They were in Disney Springs looking for any clues. Maleficent made them stall allowing the seven and Lucians to defeat any minions of theirs. Things couldn't work out much better. Go and find the clues before they do and be ready for new battles ahead." The four of us nod and Mr. Iger shakes all of our hands and leaves the park. It turns out he will be heading to the headquarters for the Walt Disney World Resort. The four of us go and and walk toward the direction Sora is in. While my friends are behind me a little bit, I decided to walk ahead some and quietly lean on the other side of the pole Sora is leaning on. I cross my arms and lean and speak.

"So it seems you all have decided to go against our wishes," I say. Sora did not turn around, but he did reply acknowledging us.

"Yen Sid told us to be a background force," he replied. "He knew the final battle would be between you four and your counterparts and so wanted us to make sure that you could be able to face them untouched. Plus, we could also defeat anyone who tries to find any clues to the Mark and have the Dark Elite get closer to getting it."

"The Dark Elite are here," I said.

"Then I guess our timing was perfect," Sora replied.

"So everyone scattered around the park?" I asked.

"Yeah, everyone has spread out," Sora replied. "Some people went the other theme parks. We are making sure to clear out as much as possible and make this path as clear as possible." I turn around, walk up to Sora, and give him a big hug. He was surprised at first, but then hugged me back.

"Thank you Sora for always being there," I said.

"Of course. We're friends you know," he replied. I nod and then let go. The four of us then walk into the park with Sora behind us a ways to watch our backsides for us. In the meantime, people are excited and waving to us and saying hello from all over the place. The four of us wave back to everyone and say hello. I was even asked by a cast member if we could do a meet and greet in front of the castle. We all accepted and so we head to the other side of the bridge in the Plaza and there people started lining up. Families with young infants, to toddlers, to grade school kids, to teenagers, to college students all lined up and took pictures with us. We talked with them and asked them questions and they answered. They even asked us for our autographs, which I thought was pretty amazing. I never had anyone ask for my autograph, but I had to sign it using my ancestral name, not my real one. There were some kids that I sensed could wield the Keyblade, but they never knew they could. One boy of about fourteen years of age took a picture with me alone while the Disney photographer and his parents took pictures. The boy looked like he was old for his age. He had brown short hair and sharp blue eyes and somewhat pale skin. He was as tall as my neck level.

"Polemistis, I have felt like I could wield a Keyblade," he said "but I don't know if I can. I want to so badly, but I am not sure if I am even chosen. What do you think?" I put my gloved hand on his shoulder and smiled.

"I know you can," I said. "I sense that power residing in you. Give it time and it will awaken. Who knows? You might finding yourself holding it when you least expect it." He nodded and thanked me and we gave each other fives. He then left with his family. Then, a male that was slightly taller than me came by. He looked like he was about my age and had dark hair with reddish highlights in it. His eyes were a striking green color and he had a more tanned complexion. He looked only at me and wanted a picture with me. As we both smiled at the camera, he began talking to me.

"So, how long have you been a Keyblade wielder?" he asked.

"Oh it's a long story," I replied. If I gave him the real answer, I would have to spill the beans and it's too early to do such a thing.

"I see. So you know Sora and all of his friends?" he asked.

"Yup and they have been great to me," I replied.

"You know they are not welcome here," the kid said and immediately, a warning light went off in my head sensing something wrong.

"What?" I asked looking at him a little. He still was looking at the camera smiling.

"I know they are here," he replied. "They shouldn't be... and neither should you." He immediately summoned his Keyblade and was about to stab when I summon mine and jump back while blocking. I face off with him and see he is an ally of the Dark Elite. He has his Keyblade in hand and is staring me down.

"I know what you are looking for," he said. "I won't let you get it. I won't even let you find clues to where it could be. So with that said, I might as well kill you myself." He then screamed and charged at me and we fight. People around us scream and clear out of the way and away from us in all directions. He is a little tough, which is impressive for I sense he is of Earth and not from the Realm of Light. He is firing all sorts of dark spells like Dark Blizzaga, Dark Firaga, etc. It's basically the basics, but just with darkness mixed in. When attacking, he was rather aggressive, but I held my own. I even struck him across the face a couple times and gave him a side kick. He was sent back a ways and then he was on the ground and I could see him grabbing his ribs. I could tell I might have injured his ribs some as he was in pain. It didn't last long before he cast Curaga on himself and then got up again.

He charged back at me again and I knew that this had to end immediately. I saw park security running this way from the park entrance about ready to end the fight. I decided it was unacceptable and so I spun around, performed a coffee grinder kick taking out the kid from underneath his feet making him land on his back continued spinning around, standing up, and stabbing down at him in the middle of his body. He screamed as blood started coming from the stab wound and I heard people screaming and looking away. Parents turned their kids faces away and covered them and some even looked away altogether. I heard high school senior Disney trip girls scream and look away and some boys shielding the girls while watching themselves or others stepping back some in shock. Pulling my Keyblade out of the stab, the boy looked at me from the ground as his gash began bleeding more and blood started coming from his mouth and streaming down the sides of it.

"You won't get to it," he said.

"I don't think your in the position to make that call," I quipped back.

"The Dark Elite are," he replied. He then closed his eyes and he gave up his breath. His body then dissipated into light particles with his heart, like throughout the many times I have killed dark warriors, floated up to join Kingdom Hearts. His keyblade was left and I used my magic to dissipate that. Everyone started cheering for me and loud applause rang out all around me. I waved to everyone and smiled. The security personnel then left to go back to the front of the park. My friends came up to me and smiled themselves.

"Nice job," Shane complimented. I nod in reply, but then get serious.

"We need to speed things up some," I said. "The Dark Elite are probably hot on our heels an we need to find any clues soon."

"It's best we check the castle," Jack suggested. "If anything, I would imagine clues were left there when this park was being built." We all agreed to go up to Cinderella Castle and search it.

Walking to the castle, we go through the archway and walk up to a cast member. I whisper in her ear some things in regards to Mr. Iger and the Mark of Kye. She nods and allows us to enter into the castle itself. We enter through the door to the queue of Cinderella's Royal Table and we look around the room for any clues possible. None to be seen; there is no sign of any clue whatsoever. We head to the elevator and go to the Cinderella Castle Suite. Luckily, no one is staying there for they choose lucky guests to stay in the suite for one night only. Reaching there, we search the room and see nothing there. We go to a different door on the same floor, make it to a walkway and climb ladder after ladder and finally reaching where Tinker Bell would fly during Wishes Nighttime Spectacular. It is very small and there isn't evidence anywhere. However, there is only room for only two people, the person as Tinker Bell and a tech person, so only Adrian and I could fit while Jack and Shane were on the ladder; nothing there once again. We shout down to them there is nothing and Adrian begins to head down the ladder.

"You go ahead," I said and I went up to where Tink would jump out and look around. The view is unbelievable. Everything could be seen: Tomorrowland, Main Street, the Contemporary and Bay Lake Tower, everything as far out as seeing the ball for Epcot and all the Magic Kingdom resorts. I then think about what this view must have been like when the Keyblade War raged. Immediately, a flashback happened and I was watching the Keyblade War rage down below and seeing it all happen. I look out and see resort caught in fire, flashes come out here and there from explosions, seeing explosions from Epcot, and so on. Then I came back to the present day and everything was as it should be. I knew that it will and must never happen again and my friends and I will make sure of it. I then go down the ladder, catch up with my friends and we continue down the castle and exit it from where we entered. Walking down the ramp next to the stage, we speak of what's next.

"So it wasn't anywhere to be found," Shane said. "Okay then, where to now?"

"Epcot," I respond. "We try the next one on the list and move down it. We may find something there."

"Your search ends now actually," a voice said. Looking in front of us, we see four people wearing dark armor stand in front of us with Keyblades in hands. There were two males and females seeing the statures of all of them.

"The Dark Elite don't want anyone to get in their way," one of the females said "so you four are doing exactly what you shouldn't do."

"If you stop now and go home, we will spare you," one of the males followed. My friends and I look at each other and just start laughing. It irritated the four armored warriors and they took stances.

"Oh my! Nothing like good humor to make you feel better!" I say laughing and then immediately change my tone. "Oh please! You think we are pushovers? We'll push you over instead!" We summon our Keyblades and fight the four warriors one on one each. I am fighting one of the males, Adrian is fighting the other male, and Shane and Jack are taking on the two females. The four of them actually put up a fight, which was something I did not get from my recent, previous opponent. As we fought, the four of them were taking swings at us with their fists. I high block with my arm and give my opponent an uppercut to the side and kick him back with a front kick. He only moves back briefly before all of them take big swipes at the four of us making us jump back. They were about to charge again when suddenly, my opponent screams and falls dead. I see Noctis standing over the dead warrior and realize he performed Warp Strike on my enemy killing him. Then a lightning spell came and struck amidst the three warriors sending them back some. Noctis slashes the other male before the male can even get up completely killing him and the two females are killed by spells of his and from somewhere else. He is panting after his battle and unsummons his sword. He then turns toward us.

      "Thank you Noct," I said.

"I am not the only one you should thank," he said and nodded looking past me. I turn around and standing in the pathway to Liberty Square is Donald. He nods to us basically telling us the lightning spell and two other spells were from him. I nod back, look back toward Noctis and we bump our fists like he does with his friends. The four of us then leave the Magic Kingdom and take the monorail to the Transportation and Ticket Center. We get off there and transfer to a different monorail and head on our way to the next stop, Epcot where we might face even more battles. The old battles were about having us Supreme Elite stop defending the worlds, but now, we are facing new battles. The new battles we face will be about finding a clue to the Mark of Kye, which is the clue to defeating the Dark Elite.

Edited by KingdomHearts3

Gahhh, how riveting!  The Mark Of Kye awaits!  I can't wait to see if the Supreme Elite will find any clues!  Things are getting intense!

Also, Iger is always awesome whenever he appears in the story!  Great work, man!  I can't wait for the next chapter! :D

Chapter 25: A Future Worth Fighting For

My friends and I have taken the monorail from the Magic Kingdom to the Transportation and Ticket Center to Epcot. There we get off and do the usual thing when entering. We go to the entrance for those with no bags, show the security our keyblades, get their acknowledgment and then enter. Entering the park, immediately, we are greeted with people saying hi and saying they love us and so on just like we were celebrities. In fact, ever since my testimony in Washington D.C, our fame has exploded and now we are known throughout the country. We push on and begin our search for any clues. In fact, the first thing we see when walking into the park itself is the Leave a Legacy plaques. We decide to look all over these to see if there are any clues that could be in the etchings. We split up and begin looking up and down the large granite slabs with all the images on them. It's no quick task and we only see images of people. In about fifteen minutes, we find nothing. The only thing we see is just pictures.

"Well that was a bust," Shane said.

"Where should we check now?" Jack asked.

"Spaceship Earth," I answer and point to the big ball. Adrian had a disturbed looked and jerked his head back when I answered.

"Spaceship Earth? Why there?" Adrian asked.

"We go through human history there," I explained. "There is a segment about ancient Egyptian history. In that, we come across a palace where there are walls with hieroglyphics on them."

"Oh! So you're saying that among those hieroglyphics, there could be the clue, right?" Adrian said putting the dots together. I nod smiling. We settle it and head to the attraction. On the way there, we see the line filled with many guests and they are waving hi and going crazy for us like we were their favorite Hollywood celebrity. I then had an idea come on immediately and I pulled my friends off to the side.

"Hey, I have an idea," I said. "There will be much to look at in regards to the hieroglyphics. However, at the speed we will be going in the time travel machines, and yes they are called that, we won't be able to look thoroughly over the writing. In order to make sure we do so, let's split up and ride separately."

"Wait a minute, you're saying we should ride with someone else?" Adrian asked. I nod in reply. "Well, it would sure make four people happy." We all agree on it and turn back towards the line of people.

"Okay everyone! Listen up!" I shout to quiet them down and they do so. "My friends and I want to go on Spaceship Earth as well. We have decided that we will randomly choose one person whom we will ride along with." The people cheered and clapped. So my friends and I go up and down the line and look for someone whom we feel we should ride along with. People are meanwhile trying to persuade us in choosing them. I soon come across a boy that appeared to be a freshman to sophomore in high school. He had brown-black hair and had tanned skin with striking blue-green eyes. I stop immediately when I see him. He is all smiles and is holding his breath as if to say "is he gonna pick me?".

"You," I said pointing at him. "I am going to ride with you." He screamed in joy as did his family around him and I gave him a high five and we waited in line. Adrian, Shane, and Jack also picked who they wanted to sit with. Adrian picked someone ahead of me while Jack and Shane chose people behind me. I couldn't see who they decided to sit with because of the crowd, but no matter. I speak with the kid, ask him his name, age, where he is from, etc. His name is Shane coincidentally. I had to bite my tongue from saying that my friend's name is Shane too or I would have blown it and possibly set off a firestorm. I nod and listen some more. He is indeed a sophomore in high school and is sixteen years old. He is from the Orlando area living in Kissimmee. He actually is a big time Kingdom Hearts fan and has seen what has happened with the Keyblade War raging and the violence in the Disney Parks as of late.

"Is it truly all real though?" he asks. I think how to answer this as this is a tightrope of a topic. Anything that I let slip could be reckless.

"Well, seeing as how you understand the war that has happened was the second Keyblade War," I said "and you acknowledge the violence in the Disney Parks as caused by Keyblade wielders, then I guess you can believe it is real."

"Does everyone believe it's real?" he asked.

"No, not everyone," I reply. "There are people around the world that don't know about me and my friends and don't understand what has happened over the course of time. However, people here know me and my friends because we had most of our action centered around here."

"Will everyone come to believe?" Shane asked. I smiled, put my arm around him, look down into his face (he is about a head shorter than me), and pull him closer next to my side like a best friend.

"Yes Shane. One day, everyone will believe," I reply. By the time our conversation ended, we were already at the end of the queue hopping on to the time machine. I position myself very subtly to make sure I enter first because the scene of Ancient Egypt with the hieroglyphics is on my right. So we get into the machine and off we go into the attraction and we first go back in time to over ten thousand years ago long before the concept of Kingdom Hearts was ever established or known. Then we soon move on to Ancient Egypt and there exactly where I thought it would be is the palace with all of the hieroglyphics. I immediate turn my head and start looking carefully at the hieroglyphics. So far, I cannot find anything in regards to the Mark of Kye whether it is an ancient Egyptian symbol representing it or writing like the text in the Book of Prophecies.

"Polemistis, are you okay?" Shane asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I replied. "I'm just looking for hidden Mickeys." If I told him the truth, then this would tip off undesirables and they would tip off the Dark Elite of the progress of my friends and I. I only examine about half of the hieroglyphics before we move on to the next scene with the Phoenicians. I am disappointed I could not have examined some more, but I felt confident that my other friends examined what I missed. Near the end of the attraction, Shane and I partake in the activity of shaping our future. We answer questions on our opinions of simple every day life tasks. We pick off of what Shane says out of courtesy. When the attraction came to the end, we get off and walk into the Project Tomorrow Experience where there are many games for the kids and where the pictures of all riders are displayed. We exit out the area and I wish the best to Shane and his family. It was only Adrian who was waiting outside as Jack and Shane were still on the ride.

"You know Polemistis, I was thinking about some things on the ride," Shane said. "I was thinking: am I a possible Keyblade wielder? And if I am, what kind of future would I have?" Wow, I did not expect that question. It made me think some.

"Gosh, that's a good question," I replied. "I cannot say if you are a Keyblade wielder, but I will say that your heart is in the right place and so you are a possible candidate to be a Keyblade wielder, but if you are, I think you would have a great future ahead of you."

"HA! Future?! Please!" a voice said. "There is no future." Shane and I look up and around and walking toward us from the entrance of the park is a dark keyblade wielder. I could tell he was my age. He wore no armor and wore dark navy blue clothing. It was similar to Sora's Wisdom form, but on it was the symbol of X (chi) in design like the flames on Sora's pants in the form. He had short dark purple and black hair with gold eyes.

"There is no future for you kid," he said. "There is no future for him here either. You see, until everything falls under the rule of darkness, there is no future for anyone including you kid. So, for that to happen, your 'friend' here must go." The dark warrior summoned his keyblade and I saw it was Sleeping Lion, but darker in color and more scary in design. I could tell Adrian walking up next to me to also fight, but I raise a hand without looking at him to tell him I should be the only one doing this.

"You're wrong!" I shout at him. I then speak to Shane while looking at my enemy. "Shane, you do have the potential to be a Keyblade wielder. If you become one, you have a great future ahead of you. However, there will be people like the one standing in front of me that will try to take it away from you. Your future is bright, but it's one that you have to fight for." I then summon my Keyblade.

"Heh, fight all you want," the foe said "but everything will return to darkness and darkness will be victorious!" He then charged at me and we clash hand on hand. Shane runs out of the way and stands by his family with his mother wrapping her arms around him. He was aggressive and was pushing me back. He was hell bent on making sure that his blade strikes me and draws blood. I start speeding up my strikes and use Ars Arcanum against him. He managed to keep up with every strike I threw at him so I start throwing spells at him. I use both Keyblade and my free hand to fire spells. I used just about every spell I could think of from the gravity spells, to fire, to ice, and so on and it he either strikes it down or blocks it.

"Okay then," I say "then I will try this." I coat myself in light energy and a light aura is surrounding me and my keyblade. I start firing off every light spell I could think of at him at the speed of an AK-47 firing bullets. Alas, nothing as all he did was block and/or struck down my attacks. He began laughing at my inability to defeat him.

"HA HA HA! This is the great Polemistis's power?!" he laughed. "Pathetic! Now I believe I have a job to finish." He gathered dark energy and a dark aura began to surround him. I realized that I did not try and dark spells so I shrugged and had at it. I fire a Dark Firaga spell KH3D style and the dark fireballs hit him causing his energy to disappear and give him damage. I then noticed my Keyblade then had a dark slim aura around it for a second, then disappear. I realized then that if I attack with dark magic and power, I would weaken him and take that power for my own. I guess this is one of the many abilities my Keyblade possesses. So I coat my Keyblade in dark power and charge at the foe. Every clash drew away his dark power and made it my own weakening him, but strengthening me. I keep on clashing with him before he becomes too weak to block my strikes and then I begin striking him everywhere.

Soon, I disarm him and slash across his abdomen creating a huge gash across the middle of his stomach. He screamed and held his stomach right over where the gash is. He stumbled and collapsed onto the ground and his breath became shallow. I walk up to him and look down at him and see the dark power leaving him and entering my Keyblade. He laughs shallowly at the sight.

"That darkness will consume you," he said.

"No. I have had too much to do with darkness," I reply. "This darkness won't consume me. Instead, I will consume it and turn it into light." The warrior had a distressed look at my statement and then passed out and gave up his breath. His body then disintegrated and his heart floated up to Kingdom Hearts. I disintegrate his Keyblade to erase all traces of him. Shane and his family then came up to me ever thankful. They then take their leave and head toward the front of the park to head back to their resort room. Now I see Shane and Jack with Adrian and they walk up to me.

"Are you alright?" Jack asked me.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I reply. We then move on to the rest of Future World. We check through everything from The Land pavilion, to Test Track, to Mission: Space. Nothing throughout Future World. So we decide to head to the International Gateway to World Showcase. While walking there, I am thinking about what Shane asked me earlier outside the exit of Spaceship Earth.

"You know fellas, I was just thinking about what that kid Shane asked me," I said. "It makes me think about our futures. After we have defeated the Dark Elite, what happens to us? What do we do after that? Do we just go home?" My friends are silent as they too aren't sure themselves.

"Man, that's a good question," Shane said.

""Absolutely," Adrian followed. "I think it's a very important question, but we will have to answer that after. Besides, we will learn what it is in time." I nod and we continue our walk. In World Showcase, we head to the China and Japan pavilions because there is plenty of Chinese and Japanese writing as well as plenty of images in the pavilions. We once again find no clues whatsoever so we begin to head toward the exit from Epcot to the resorts Boardwalk Villas and Beach Club Villas.

However, on the way there, we see on the bridge between the France and United Kingdom pavilions a group of dark Keyblade warriors making chaos. They attacked a group of high school seniors on their Disney trip harassing them and even so much and striking them with their Keyblades. Some were even harassing families with young children by threatening them and mocking them. There must have been about ten dark warriors all around creating pandemonium. I raise my Keyblade and create a large bang that grabbed everyone's attention. The victims were so happy to see us Supreme Elite and were overjoyed with some in tears.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we the Supreme Elite have talked about something recently," I say to all of the victims with the dark warriors listening. "It's our duty and promise to protect all of you, including the least among us. You are all the light that keeps the world alive. We also realized that more than protecting you, you all have a bright future. So everyone, stand up and fight for you all have futures worth fighting for." Everyone cheers us and start shouting at the dark warriors in protest and confronting them more boldly. One dark warrior raises his keyblade about to kill a guest, but I throw my Keyblade at him and it stabs into his back killing him. My Keyblade then disappears and reappears into my hand and the four of us charge against the now nine dark warriors and we fight. The victimized park guests even get in on the fight kicking and punching the dark warriors. Some used anything they had and swung it at the dark warriors. The four of us use the distractions from the guests to kill the dark warriors. In about ten minutes, all dark warriors are dead and no park guests have been killed. They applaud for us and give us an ovation. We wave to all of them smiling.

"Good job," a familiar voice said. We look toward the exit and there is Gladio with Riku and Terra.

"Did you three also help fight?" I asked them. They all nodded.

"Yeah, but we mainly kept them contained in this area," Riku responded.

"The people attacking them helped us keep them contained and turned them into jokes," Gladio followed.

      "Thanks guys," Shane said.

"Any luck finding clues?" Terra asked us.

"No not yet," Jack replied. "Have you guys found anything?"

"Unfortunately, we haven't found anything either," Terra replied.

"It's like trying to find a needle in a ridiculous haystack," Gladio said.

"We did however spot the Dark Elite," Riku said. "They were in Disney Springs and moved on to the Magic Kingdom. We made sure to keep out of sight or they most definitely would have killed us."

"Thanks for the info," Adrian said. "Keep your eyes peeled for any clues and a third eye on the Dark Elite." All of them nodded and the four of us Elite leave Epcot for the Boardwalk Resort dock to take a boat to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Now we realize there is even more to just defending our own. All of these people have futures and bright ones. There are those out there that want to take it away from them and not only do we fight for them, but they should fight for themselves as well for every future is worth fighting for.

Every future is worth fighting for.  Those are inspiring words, old friend!

This chapter was awesome, and I like how the Supreme Elite are a symbol of hope and inspiration for all the people in the Disney Parks!  But the Mark Of Kye still evades them!  I wonder if they'll find it? :O

Great chapter as always, my friend! :)

Chapter 26: Show Time

Aqua was just finished with a dark warrior that decided to find her and put up a fight. She just disarmed him and stabbed him through the stomach killing him. His body dissipated into particles and his heart floated up. Aqua had to pant for a little bit before she unsummoned her keyblade. She was right inside the park just after the entrance turnstiles. Having a battle there is not the best place, but unfortunately for Aqua, she was caught there and a dark warrior decided to attack her there. Obviously, it did not go well for him. My friends and I happen to just show up and see the end of her battle. We stayed back until she was done and unsummoned her Keyblade. I then rush forward to see her.

"Aqua!" I called to her. She turned around and a look of relief came over her face when she saw us.

"Oh thank goodness," she said. "I can't be happier you guys are here."

"We saw you apparently were in a fight," Shane pointed out. Aqua nodded in reply.

"Yes I was," she said. "They are everywhere and they are looking for the clues to finding the Mark of Kye. In fact, he saw me and tried to attack me. He wanted to kill me so I could stop being in their way."

"Thank goodness you're alive," I said. Aqua smiled and nodded, but then it immediately went away and fear came over it. She gasped apparently seeing something behind me.

"Look out!" she shouted pointing behind us. The four of us turn around quickly and there were two dark warriors charging toward us to behead us all. They were a mere few paces away when all of us hear gunshots ring out. The warriors grunt and halt in place; clearly they have been shot. We hear about ten gunshots go off and see the warriors get shot and fall to the ground. Their bodies dissipate and their hearts float up leaving their Keyblades behind, which I have dissipate as well. The five of us look around and we see coming from a hidden corner Prompto.

"I guess you can just call me the hero," he said in a cocky like way.

"Thanks Prompto," Jack says. "We could have been killed if you didn't shoot."

"Hey, just doing my duty," Prompto said in the same tone. "What did you think Aqua? Did it impress you?" Aqua looked a little bit awkward, but remained firm.

"Yes Prompto, it did," she replied.

"Prompto! Quit the hitting up and focus!" I shout at him.

"Gah! Alright, alright!" he replied. "So where do we find this clue?"

"I guess we have to start here," Adrian said. "I am actually unsure where we could really look specifically, but I would start here."

"Well, seems like our only option," I said.

"But this place is huge! How can we find it before they do?" Prompto asked.

"I guess we'll just have to search quickly," Aqua replied.

"I agree. It's the only way we can move faster," Shane followed. We all then set off toward going deeper into the park. Like at Epcot and Magic Kingdom, people are saying hello and waving to us Supreme Elite. We waved back and said hello. We really were in a bit of a pickle for this park. The reasons why are the Mickey hat that was always in the middle of the park has been taken down and the Earffel Tower (a large water tower that had Mickey ears on it) is also gone too. The only major places we could go to are the Tower of Terror and the Fantasmic stage. We decide to try our luck with the Tower of Terror first. We go up to a cast member before hitting the line and I whisper into her ear what I told the Cinderella Castle cast member. She nods and guides us toward the attraction. People see us as we pass by the line and wave and hoot and holler for us. We just wave as we pass them. Once we get into the queue of the attraction, we begin our search. We look over everything inside the queue. Not one table nor chair was left unchecked. There was a bookshelf that we even looked at, but nothing was seen. We thanked the cast member, waved to the crowd, and we were guided out of the queue.

"We weren't going on?" Prompto asked.

"That attraction has nothing on it that could provide a clue," I replied. "It just goes through an episode of a TV series."

"Aw man! I was hoping we could go on," Prompto complained.

"This isn't the time for fun!" Adrian rebuked him. "We have an ancient power that could be found before us by the wrong people if we don't find that clue."

"Okay, okay," Prompto replied in defense. All of us then head toward the gate that leads us to the amphitheater for Fantasmic. A different cast member was there at the entrance. I whisper in his ear and when no one was passing by, he let us all in. He led us to areas that are usually for cast members and it took us to the actual stage. we once again searched, but there was even less that could give us a hint. It didn't take long before we decided to leave the stage and go back into the park. Once again, we were guided out and he let us into the street when no one was around.

"So first the tower, now the stage, where else could we look?" Shane asked.

"Have you any ideas Ben?" Aqua asked. I had to think for a little bit. Immediately, it hit me and I realized there is a major attraction we have yet to go through.

"Of course! One Man's Dream!" I said excited.

      "What's that?" Jack asked.

"It's basically a museum," I explained. "This attraction is a museum with artifacts from Walt Disney himself."

"Are you saying that the clue could very well be in there among them?" Adrian asked.

"Exactly! That's exactly what I am saying," I replied. "We might find something among Walt's works and artifacts in writing that has the clue."

We all head straight to One Man's Dream and once again begin our search. We make sure to look like we are just looking around like everyday park guests. It was of course fascinating to walk through One Man's Dream and look at all of the artifacts of Walt Disney. What makes it even more amazing is he knew the worlds in Kingdom Hearts existed and he portrayed their stories. He did it all while secretly telling the world that there truly is more out there in the universe. I think his heart told him what to do throughout his ordeals; what to say, what to not say, etc. It was definitely his heart and head both telling him he cannot come out and flat out say there are other worlds out there and his animations show exactly what they look like and their stories or he would have lost his reputation and be branded as insane ruining him for all time. Now look at it all: the Universe of Kingdom Hearts was indeed real after all. The characters have visited my world, war has erupted, magic is real, the Keyblade is a real weapon, and so on. In short, everything Walt Disney has animated and dreamed of was him telling the truth. I shed a tear over the magnitude of it all.

We continue to look around the attraction at all the exhibits for any writing. While we find some samples of notes and whatnot, we find no clues on them. Once again, we find nothing throughout this attraction. After our search and seeing the end film, we leave the museum with major disappointment.

"Well that just blows," Prompto said.

"I... thought it would be in there," I said looking down into space majorly disappointed.

"Well, we will have to keep looking somehow," Adrian said.

"I am rather doubtful at this point we find anything," I said.

"Don't give up. You will find it," Aqua said consolingly. She lifted my head up making me look at her and she smiled. I smiled and I gave her a hug. She was a little surprised at first, but then embraced me tightly.

"Thank you Aqua," I said. We let go and then we start heading toward the park exit. Once again, the same is happening with people we pass by: they go nuts for us, we wave, etc, etc.

"Hey, I just noticed something," Jack said. "We haven't come across any enemies throughout our search. Anyone find that rather unsettling?" We all look at each other and realize that yes, we haven't run across any enemies. Suddenly, someone shouted at us from the exit of the park.

"Well, aren't you just a clever one?!" the male voice shouted. We look immediately and all of us jump and scream a little. Right before us is none other than my counterpart, Polemos. He was walking toward us looking as angry as could be. People were moving away from him quickly in fear. He was firing spells at them to disperse everyone and have them move out of his way. He clearly did not care if anyone died, but thankfully, no one died from getting hit.

"Polemos!" I shouted at him. Clearly, he must have caught wind that the seven lights and Lucians have been working undercover to pave the pathway for my friends and I to find the clue to the Mark.

"So this is what the seven lights are doing now eh?" Polemos asked. "Now you all decided to work undercover? Getting in our way again, but this time you decide to do it behind our backs in the shadows, eh?" He clearly was addressing Aqua and was obviously angry at Aqua.

"That's right! We may have been told to go home, but we will remain by the Supreme Elite's side always," Aqua replied.

"Oh, so they told you and you disobeyed?" Polemos asked tauntingly. "Tsk tsk tsk, how disappointing the seven lights disobey their superiors. To think they follow the commands of their masters; disgraceful."

"Shut up!" Aqua screamed and she summoned her Keyblade.

"Oh, I see we are in a fighting mood," Polemos said. He then raised his hand and summoned his Keyblade and took stance. Immediately, I get in front of Aqua and summon my Keyblade.

"If you're fighting anyone, it will be me," I said defiantly.

"In as much as I would fight you," Polemos said "I won't. Aqua here wants a challenge and she will get one."

"It's okay Polemistis," Aqua told me. "I am stronger this time. I will not be beaten this time." I acquiesce to her plea and move aside with my friends and Prompto unsummoning my Keyblade. Aqua stepped forward and took stance again. Park guests start to cheer on Aqua from around us. They stood at a distance away to make sure they don't get hurt. Mainly from behind us was the majority of the crowd. There were some still at the entrance and exit from the park.

"I knew you would be a threat to keep an eye on," Polemos said. "I knew you would be a nuisance. Ever since that moment in Castle of Dreams, I knew you would be a force that would undermine our efforts. I will kill you and your efforts right here and now!" He then charged toward Aqua screaming in a war cry.

      "HAAAAAHHHHH!" he screamed.

"KYAH!" Aqua screamed back charging toward him as well. The two of them clashed in a large spark and fought. The crowds around us immediately cheered louder like we in an NFL football stadium watching a game. I saw security from the park entrance start coming this way, but I raised my hand signaling them to stop. They do so and look at me in the face. I nod in saying "it's under control". They nod and hang back just in case things get out of hand.

Meanwhile, Aqua has managed to keep up with every move of Polemos's. After a few clashes, Polemos and Aqua get in a brief lock and he violently parries Aqua's Keyblade, but she in turn turns around and back kicks him making him stumble backward bent over some. He gets up, growls at her, an charges at her again. He pushes her back in one swing and then fires dark magic. Aqua aerials out of the way, but the spell is heading toward us. I immediately create a barrier around the match protecting everyone. The dark orb hits the barrier instead of us. Aqua fires Icicle Spear in retaliation and large icicles form around her and charge toward Polemos. He blocks and slashes through them. Aqua then uses Shining Star on him and it appeared as though the spell hit him. However, after the smoke lifts, Polemos was using Dark Barrier and all the attacks were blocked. He smiled and then started using his own dark magic. He first used Dark Fire Dash at Aqua to get close and then used Eclipse of the Moon immediately. It got Aqua and she was knocked back, but she countered with Counter Surge catching Polemos off guard sending him backwards into the barrier I established.

Polemos charged up energy and then he covered himself in a dark aura and a dark looking blade surrounded his Keyblade. I realized he was using Dark Bladecharge. Aqua charged energy and she started using Bladecharge in return. The two of them clashed again with blades clashing again and again giving off white and black sparks. Soon, they clash in a stalemate and their faces are no more than four inches away from the other. The large black and white blades disappeared and light and dark auras surrounded Aqua's and Polemos's Keyblades respectively. Both of them are pushing against the other for the upper hand. Polemos breaks the stalemate parrying Aqua's Keyblade and then striking her across the face with her free left hand making her fall backwards onto the ground. She still was on her feet, but forced to go one knee because of the power of the strike across her face. It angered me to see it, but Aqua looked back up into Polemos's face with more determination than ever as she panted on the ground while Polemos stood over her looking down at her.

"Still fighting against me even when you know it's hopeless," Polemos said. He then put the blade of his Keyblade next to her throat. "Do you give up?" Aqua raised her Keyblade and put her blade against his.

"There were times when fighting Master Xehanort it was hopeless," Aqua replied. "We didn't give up hope though. Even when all things are hopeless, people will believe in their their last thread of hope, their dreams, until the very end... and I will continue to fight for that hope!" She then jumped up and started attacking Polemos. He fought back and then they clashed in a stalemate again. This time, Aqua broke through the stalemate and she parried his Keyblade away to her left leaving Polemos's abdomen open. Then, everything had a resemblance to Roxas's battle with Riku in 358/2 Days at the end; it all happened like in slow motion. Aqua spun around and like swinging a baseball bat, she strikes Polemos across the stomach.

"GAAAAHHHH!" Polemos screamed as he slid backwards with his left arm wrapped around where Aqua struck him. He then is hunched over gasping for breath. Aqua is heavily breathing as she is in stance staring him down. The crowd now screamed in joy as Polemos was hurting and they cheered and congratulated Aqua. I made the barrier vanish this time as I sensed that this battle was over and the crowd dispersed and everyone went back to their day. Polemos then looked up at Aqua.

"Heh, well done guardian of light," Polemos complimented. "As you know, only one person can kill me, but I give you props for fighting the way you did." Aqua stood up completely and unsummoned her Keyblade.

"As for you..." Polemos said looking into space. He then immediately pointed his Keyblade directly at me and then looked at me. My friends got into defensive stances as Prompto had his gun in hand.

"I will find that Mark and I will kill you myself," he said to me. "I will fight you where I have always wanted to fight and there you will meet death. I didn't fight you thousands of years ago on that battlefield, but now I will finish you off there." He lowered his Keyblade, unsummoned it, and disappeared into a dark corridor. The crowd around us cheered for Aqua and applauded for her. The security nodded at me and went back to the entrance. The five of us then went to Aqua and congratulated her. She nodded, but then stumbled and collapsed some. I caught her as she grabbed around my waist keeping herself from hitting the pavement. I immediately kneeled onto one knee and put my face at her level. She gasped some and managed to look at me.

"Aqua, that was amazing," I said. She smiled weakly and nodded.

"I didn't kill him though," she said disappointed.

"Hey you can't anyway," I said. "Only I can kill him. You did amazing. When it was time to show what the seven lights are capable of, you answered the call. To put it in Hollywood terms, since we are in Disney's Hollywood Studios, it was show time and you performed perfectly. You actually taught me something as well as my friends: when the time comes for face him, when it's show time, we must answer the call and be ready." Aqua then slouched into me still feeling weak. I caught her and gave her a hug and held her. Adrian used Curaga on her and she then got up and stood up more firmly. I got up with her making sure she was stable.

"Wow... I don't think I could ever copy that," Prompto said to Aqua. She went up to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Prompto then went red and he got all bashful, but in a more mature way and not as bubbly like last time.

"Well, it looks like like we have taken care of this park," Adrian said "and we still haven't found anything. Is there another park?"

"Yeah, Animal Kingdom," I reply. "The only major places in that park are the Tree of Life and Expedition Everest, but the Tree has carvings of animals and Expedition Everest is a fast moving attraction. There isn't any writing or artwork we could look at long enough to look it over."

"Well, we might as well try the park in general though," Jack said.

"Yeah, it doesn't hurt to look even if we have slim chances," Shane followed. We say goodbye to Aqua and Prompto as they will remain in Disney's Hollywood Studios and continue to work undercover. The four of us head out of the park and take a bus to Animal Kingdom. While on the motor coach, what I saw Aqua do and what I said got me thinking about us Supreme Elite. When we must fight, we must be ready to fight. When it's show time, we have to perform and give a perfect performance for our sakes and the world's, but most importantly, for the sake of those we have sworn to protect and fight for their future: the least among us.

Excellent work man, the search for the Mark Of Kye continues!  Wow, everyone's on the run to find this mysterious mark! I wonder when someone will find it!? xD

But wow, Aqua battled against Polemos impressively!  And ya know, for the smallest moment there, I saw chemistry between Ben and Aqua!  But that all went away when Aqua kissed Prompto in the cheek! xP

But this was awesome man, can't wait for the next one! :D

Chapter 27: Mt. Everest

The bus takes us from Disney's Hollywood Studios to Animal Kingdom. By now, it's getting late in the afternoon around early dinner time. The sun was in the west and was just about ready to start setting. There was still daylight left so we searched just as we wanted to. We enter the park and coming out in the main bridge that leads from the Oasis to Discovery Island, we walk toward the Tree of Life. There right in front of the Tree, we stop and discuss what the plan is next.

"Alright, what's the plan?" Shane asked.

"There is none," I reply looking into space. My friends are stunned to hear my response.

"What?! What do you mean there's no plan?!" Adrian asks surprised.

"Look around that this park," I said. "Tell me, do you see any way we could find a way to get close and observe the major icons here?" They look at each other unable to answer. "Precisely. We can't bother with the Tree of Life. All there is on there is carvings of animals. There is no writing we could see of any kind. Expedition Everest is another attraction that is an icon for the park. There isn't writing anywhere on there that we could look at close enough in the queue nor even any on the attraction. We might as well just enjoy our time here while looking around." My friends look at each other unable to respond. Just then, Ignis, Ventus, and Goofy all came toward us. My friends and I turn in their direction.

"Hi. What are you guys doing here?" Jack asked. "I thought you were supposed to be undercover and patrolling the park."

"We wanted to see ya fellers!" Goofy replied. "We were gettin' a little bored and Ven and I wanted to see ya."

"Yeah! Waiting for someone to come out to attack us was making me bored," Ven followed. "I wanted to see my best friends anyway." He grinned and put his hands behind his head like he always does. I look at Ignis waiting for his explanation.

"I insisted they remain on the guard," he said. "They however persuaded me to allow them to come hither to you all your graces. They just insisted over and over and told me that it would be better if the Supreme Elite were here so defeating any enemies would be easier. I acquiesced to their pleas and brought them hither."

"Did you at least take down any dark enemies?" Adrian asked. Just then, I noticed behind them three dark soldiers tip toeing up behind the three of them. Immediately, without turning around, Ven, Ignis, and Goofy begin elbowing, striking, and attacking the three enemies. In a matter of seconds, the enemies were stabbed, slashed, and beaten to death. My friends and I were wide eyes the whole time we watch the captain, keyblade master, and Lucian take out three dark warriors without turning around. It looked like came from a comedy.

"Yes, we have," Ignis replied. "So what do you wish to do now your grace?"

"There is no plan," I replied. This made the three of them freeze in place.

"Polemistis here," Adrian said calling me by my other name since we are in public and people can overhear us "said the there is no writing on any major icons in this park. The tree has just animal carvings and we can't get close enough to it and Expedition Everest has too little writing in the queue and none on the attraction itself. He suggested we just do our own things and enjoy ourselves while keeping a wary eye for any enemies." The Goof, Ven, and Ignis looked at each other surprised. Then they look back at us.

"Gawrsh, if ya think that we shouldn't really look..." Goofy said.

"Alright, if you think that's best, then we'll do it," Ventus replied.

"If I may advise master," Ignis said "might I suggest we all look around for the clue while we go on our separate ways?"

"Yeah sure," I answer. "The thing is, I am rather doubtful we will find anything. I am not sure where we can look anymore."

"Hang in there pal," Ven said. "We'll find it. We can't let the Dark Elite find the clue." I nod and smile a little at Ventus. All of us then break off and go our separate ways. I decided to go off on my own. I went toward Africa and decided to immerse myself in African culture while also look for any threats. People were waving at me and all excited. I waved back and smiled back at the guests. I gave a young kid a fist bump, another kid a high five, and some even asked for my autograph. Wow, that's new. I signed it "Polemistis" to continue keeping my real identity under wraps. A few young kids, boy and girl of about 5-7 years of age, came up to me and gave me a big hug. I hugged them back and we all had a picture together taken by their parents, then with the whole family. Some time later, I come across a high school senior Disney Trip. There were girls in a group along with some guys too and the girls were all screaming and hiding behind their maps while looking at me. It's like I am that guy celebrity they love so much and have a crush on. I look at the girls and wink at them and wave at them. They scream and get all excited and run up to me asking to take a selfie with me, which I do. The guys were just plain excited. They were pointing me out and just came up to me greeting me and asked to take selfies as well. I did with them and I then departed heading further into Africa.

I come across the Kilamenjaro Safaris entrance and see two cast members walking around near the attraction. I walk up to them, greet them, and then whisper in their ears something I have wanted to do. They look at me like I am crazy, but then acquiesce. They lead me to an unseen exit in the park for cast members and I am led into the Safari itself. I am taken to the lion's den where they keep them. Going there, the lions see me and they get up and begin to growl because I am unfamiliar to them. I raise my hand and summon my Keyblade and they immediately stop growling. They stop growling as they see my Keyblade and then they bow to me. It was just like when I was helped home after being driven out of my high school because of Ronnie. I unsummon my Keyblade and walk up to the lions with my hand raised. The male lion actually walks up to me and starts rubbing against me as does two other female lionesses. I begin petting all of them and feel quite comfortable with them.

"Struggling are we?" someone said to me. I look around and see the three lions look toward the den. I look that way and see a dark warrior. He wore no armor. His clothes were dark colored with blood red and navy colors. He looked like he was high school aged like 17 years old. He had the looks of a model with brown-blond hair and ice blue eyes.

      "You're from Earth, aren't you?" I asked.

"Yeah I am," he answered rudely. "I along with many other Keyblade wielders have been in hiding. Then when the two universes collided, we came out of hiding. I am looking for that clue just like you are. I gotta say, it's entertaining watching you struggle." He then chuckled evilly. The lions were growling and roaring a little. I raise my hand and put my hand on their heads signalling to stand down. I walk in front of them to reinforce the order. They follow, but still growl a little.

"The thing I have an issue is this: you are looking for it too," the kid said. "I don't like when people look for something I should be finding. So as the Dark Elite wish, I will slow you down, or even kill you. By then, the Mark will belong to them and the rest of you will squirm like worms before them." He laughed and summoned his Keyblade. I summon mine and we clash in a big spark. The kid had skill and he kept up nicely. I tried to immediately try new material. I use Blitz Braver and Dual Disaster on him using wind and lightning magic and Fire and Ice respectively in my attacks. I used Keyblade transformations and turned my Keyblade into a cannon. It fired large orbs at him and I was able to turn it on a pivot. He kept on dodging the fire I delivered. Since that didn't work, I turned my Keyblade into a bow and arrow like what Aqua had with her Keyblade glider. This time, my foe couldn't dodge all of the fired light missiles and was hit by them. They hit his back knocking him forward and onto his knees. He immediately got up and fire Dark Blizzaga at me three times and then used Blossom of Thorns and then Blossom Deathscythe. The second attack hit me sending me backwards toward the den, but then I use Wind Barrage against him immediately taking him by surprised. It sends him backwards toward the lions. They are about to attack him, but I raise my hand again to signal stop and they once again heel. The kid immediately got up and we fought hand on hand and shortly after we do so, I disarm him and stab him in the stomach. He screams in pain a little and then when I pull my Keyblade out of him, he falls forward onto his stomach. His breathing then stops and he dies at my feet. His body then dissipates into light particles and his heart floats up into the sky. I dissipate his Keyblade as well to remove any signs of him.

I am panting some and stand up tall and unsummon my Keyblade. The lions come up to me, nuzzle my hand a little and once again pur and rub against me. I pet them again and even hug the male lion. I then decide to sit down closer to the den out of sight from guests on the attraction and lay around with the lions. It was nice just hanging with them. It allowed me to think some and get my thoughts together. After about fifteen minutes, I get up and pet the lions goodbye and leave in a light corridor returning to outside the queue of the safari. I then head on my way to the opposite side of the park: Asia. I want to head toward Expedition Everest and just look around at the area. Asia is composed of two areas: Anandapur and Serka Zong. On the way to Expedition Everest, I enter Anandapur first and see Adrian there looking around. He sees me and catches up to me and we go on our way. We get closer to the attraction and come out to the pathway that shows the mountain in full glory. Shane and Jack are here near the restrooms and they tag along as well. We all discuss what we have done and it turns out that my friends have fought warriors themselves. Adrian was in Discovery Island while Jack and Shane came from Dinoland U.S.A and were just resting for a moment. I told them where I was and they were stunned that I have befriended the lions.

We reach Serka Zong and are right next to the queue for Expedition Everest. Ignis and Ventus were visible, but in two different parts of the area. Goofy must have left the park altogether by a hidden way. Ignis was near the queue looking up at the mountain. I walk up next to him and I too look up at the Forbidden Mountain.

"Incredible," Ignis said amazed. "Is there truly an abominable snowman in there?"

"Oh no," I reply. "It's animatronic, but they use strobe lights to make it seem like he is moving since a portion of it is damaged." Ignis nodded in understanding and all of us just scattered looking around. I see Ventus in an area with much plantation around. There are prayer flags draped around and Ventus is in a viewing area that sits right at the base of the mountain where one could look directly up at the mountain and see the train come out of the mountain and loop back in. Ventus is looking at the attraction as it went in this area and I merely put a hand on his shoulder. He looks at me, smiles, and looks back. I look behind me and there is a stone wall with big tablets leaning against it near the steps. They have large writing on them with drawings and designs and appear to be prayer tablets. I just look at them and feel them I walk slowly and look at them.

I come across one tablet and I bend down to look at it. Now all the tablets were pretty large and had Sanskrit written on them. This one was rather small... and didn't have Sanskrit. I look closely at the tablet and my eyes open wide, I gasp, and all of a sudden, I feel adrenaline. The tablet contains writing that comes from the Book of Prophecies! I immediately run to Ventus and pull him to the tablet. He has the same reactions and then we go to my friends and pull them over. We can't shout or we make a scene and saying my friends real names will blow it all and puts our endeavor in jeopardy. My friends and Ignis have the same reactions that I do. We have finally found the clue!

"Oh my goodness..." I say just stunned. I shed a few tears because I am so overwhelmed. I am now closer than ever to finding out more about the Mark of Kye.

"I knew you could do it," Ventus said smiling. He put his arm around my shoulders and I did the same.

"I'll read it," I said to everyone. "It says: 'Within the eyes of the mountain, an ancient secret treasure lies underneath waiting to be discovered and awakened. In its awakening, many shall gather to the worthy.'" All of us were rather confused at the clue.

"Well I'm lost," Shane said. "'Eyes of the mountain'? What does that mean?"

"More importantly, what mountain?" Jack followed. I was looking down in thought and Ventus got up with his hands behind his hand in thought. I immediately froze and goosebumps went up and down my spine. I slowly stand up. My comrades notice and watch me the whole time. I stand up completely and then turn around and look behind me and up and Expedition Everest. My friends get up to and they are look at me and the mountain not understanding. But then, a chill hangs over us all.

"You don't mean...?" Adrian asked not able to finish. I nod slightly and all of us look up at Expedition Everest. The mountain that the clue talks about is the one that the attraction before us is based off of. No, this mountain is not in Florida, but in Nepal. It's the tallest one on Earth. We must go there to this mountain to find the Mark of Kye: Mt. Everest.

Oh snap, they're heading for Nepal!?  Well that's going to be something else!  They're getting closer to finding the Mark Of Kye!  But I'm thinking the Dark Elite probably have a lead! :O

But wow, this was an awesome chapter!  I loved it when Ben interacted with the lions, that was a badass scene! Great work!  I can't wait for more! :D

Chapter 28: Tengboche Monastery

The rivals were off at a distance hiding from the Supreme Elite, light, and Lucian. They were in the Expedition Everest gift shop when they saw Ben and company observe the stones in the Expedition Everest Attraction Photos spot. They heard what Ben said and were looking at each other confused.

"What does that all mean?" Derron whispered to Axeron.

"Well, observing Polemistis and seeing where he's looking," Axeron replied "I'd imagine that means the Mark would be near Mt. Everest."

"How in the name of Kingdom Hearts are we supposed to know how to get there and where it is?" Soraxan asked.

"We continue to follow them," Axeron replied. "Shh! Polemistis is about to talk again!" They all remained quiet and listened in silence.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am now walking around and wondering to myself while also getting anxious. I mean, it's the Himalayas for crying out loud! It's the tallest mountain range in the world! People have died trying to climb these mountains!

"It can't be Mt. Everest," I said pacing. "I mean, it can't be on top of that mountain at all."

"Well it did say 'within the eyes'," Adrian replied. "With that said, it can't be on Mt. Everest at all."

"So what does "within the eyes' really mean?" Shane asked.

"Well, it could mean that where we are, we see the mountain completely," Jack answered. "I guess it could also mean within the shadow of Mt. Everest so it would have to be somewhere close to the mountain."

"Well, what places are near Mt. Everest?" I ask and no one is able to answer. With my magic, I summon my iphone having it appear in my hand and use the internet browser app on it. Looking up Mt. Everest, I look for locations near the mountain and I come across one.

"Tengboche Monastery," I said. My three friends gather around me and they see the results. "It's a Buddhist monastery located within range of the mountain in Nepal. You can see the mountain from the place."

"Oh so that is where we should be able to find the Mark," Shane said.

"Yeah, but where in that monastery will it be?" Adrian asked. "It would have to be in a place hidden from the eyes of any visitors." The four of us remained silent, but we hear Ventus and Ignis near the mani stones.

      "Huh, I wonder..." Ventus said.

"Oh dear," Ignis said. All four of us turn to the light and Lucian and we walk to them. They are looking at a mani stone. It's right next to the small one with the clue on it. They are looking at a mani stone that has a drawing of a stupa and Sanskrit just below it right next to a mani stone with a picture of the yeti on it.

"What is it?" I ask them.

"It strikes my curiosity that the stone with the clue is placed next to this one here," Ignis said.

"How so?" I ask for clarification.

"Well, what he means is why was the clue stone placed next to this one?" Ventus replied. "I noticed this too because it looks like this stone is the only one that depicts a structure. The rest are designs and patterns." This got us all thinking some. I looked at the clue stone again and did indeed see it is right next to the stone with the stupa on it.

"Wait a minute, I just had an epiphany," I said. "I think the reason the clue stone was placed next to the stupa one is to implicitly state where we will find the Mark of Kye."

"Makes sense to me," Adrian replied. "So then, off to Tengboche in Nepal." The four of us nod in agreement with each other.

"Please tell Mr. Iger what we have learned as well as Yen Sid and the Foretellers," I requested to Ventus and Ignis. Ignis bowed and Ventus nodded and smiled.

"Well, best of luck and be careful," Ven said. I smile and give him a hug. After I let go, I open a light corridor for my friends and I to go through. Ventus opens two: one heading to Mr. Iger's place for Ignis, and one heading to the Mysterious Tower for Ventus. All of us walk through our corridors and head on our way.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The rivals heard it all and they quickly run to the open corridor Ben and the Supreme Elite have gone through, but have made sure to stay out of sight.

"Well isn't that something?" Braxon asked. "So this monastery could have it and this stupa possibly marks where the Mark is."

"Indeed, but we have to be sure that it's there," Axeron said. "If it turns out to not be there, we will have to find a different one and that's where we will have to still eavesdrop on these frauds. Once we hear where it precisely will be, we high tail it there immediately." All four of them nodded and they make it into the corridor in time and follow the Supreme Elite.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The four of us walk through the light corridor on our way to Nepal's Tengboche Monastery. I end up in much thought about where are going. This is the Tibetan plateau, the highest landscape in the world. This is terrain that is not friendly to anyone who treks it at all. Luckily, we are just heading to a monastery so this won't be a trek up a mountain. When we come out of the light corridor, we end up in front of the entrance. It is a large one decorated ornated with all kinds of Tibetan artwork. It has two statues of two creatures on either side of the entrance and on the entrance, there are pictures of deities and creatures up and down the sides behind the statues and on the inside of the entrance. It basically is the gateway to the monastery itself. It's all grand with many colors. There are two brick little structures on either side of the entrance with openings facing out. On our right, there are little flat, rectangular houses and on our left is a building that looks like it's for visitors. There is also a stupa there as well. I tap my friends and point in that direction and just as we are about to walk toward the stupa, Adrian grabbed my shoulder and pointed through the entrance. There are seven Buddhist monks walking in our direction. The four of us stare at them and wait for them in silence. They all came down the stairs and eventually came through the entrance and stopped a few feet from us. Four of the seven appear middle aged, two of them appeared younger, and the one that stood in front of all of them was elderly, but he appeared to be in his later sixties to early seventies. He smiled as he saw us all.

"Polemistis, Kidemonas, Kyrios, Aiton, good tidings to all of you," he said and all of them bowed to us. The four of us were rather stunned by the greeting and looked at each other. The monks then stood up fully again.

"H-how...?" I was about to ask before he cut me off.

"I will show you the truth and explain it all," he replied. "Come, follow me." He walked up stairs with the six other monks and begin to head back to the monastery. The four of us follow them closely behind while passing by a stupa. We enter a little room with a stone with footprints and marks left by the Lama Sangwa Dorje. We turn left and walk up a few steps, then turn right and walk up a few more and come out in a courtyard with a pole draped with prayer flags standing in the middle of it. We walk more and walking up steps into a vestibule and then walking through a doorway into the chapel. There are three benches covered with mats and cloths lined up vertically in the room; a few monks are sitting on them meditating. Large drums strung up like a Chinese gong sit next to two of the columns. The walls are covered with paintings of deities, people, and creatures. There are paintings and colors everywhere in the room. The half walls connected to the main walls have bowls lined up across them on our right side and on the left in front of windows, there are dishes and pouring vessels. There are ornaments and draperies covering the walls along the sanctuary. The deity sitting behind an altar is gold and has ornaments and draperies behind it along the back wall. It's all colorful and detailed in this room.

"This is where we pray and worship," the eldest monk said to us.

"Boy, this is amazing," I said "but please show us the truth." The monk looked at us smiling, nodded, and then went up to a door on our right that was blocked off by wood square beam. He removes it, opens the door and we see a hall. However, just to the left is another door which he opens and it has a stairwell leading down. We all go down it and it gets darker and darker as we go. Soon, we reach the bottom and walk into a very large room. It's darker down here as it's only lit by candlelight. There are three long rows of cushions lined up across the room with many monks on them meditating with rugs in front of them. The is a gap between the rows that allows room to walk straight up to the sanctuary. Speaking of which, there are four gold statues surrounded by ornaments and drapes behind and next to them. The sanctuary itself is more lit, but enough to see everything clearer making the statues appear to glow. My friends and I are stunned to see the statues becuase they look... familiar.

"Hey, isn't that...?" I begin to ask. The monk immediately answered me before I finished.

"Yes, that is all of you," he said. From left to right, the statues are lined up in this order: me, Shane, Jack, and Adrian. In front of the statues of Shane and Jack is an altar with much color and with Tibetan designs and paintings drawn on it. Just in front of that are two tablets sitting on a small stand. The one on the left is written in Sanskrit and the other is written in the writing found on the clue stone in Animal Kingdom and in the Book of Prophecies. The monk remains behind us a few steps as the four of us walk up to the sanctuary and up to the tablets. We begin to read the tablet written in the Book language.

"On those tablets, an old tale passed down is written on them," the monk said to us. We listened while we read the tablet. "You know of the tale of how the Keyblade came to Earth. You have heard the tale of the Mark of Kye. These tablets describe a tale that has been hidden from the world, but kept safe and secret for generations. The Keyblade wielders came to Earth and after the Mark of Kye was created to remain as one and then to submit to one authority, they scattered. Unfortunately, the power had split and scattered. The tale of the Mark of Kye was told in secret to very select few individuals. It was told for centuries with no one misspeaking or misinterpreting. It had always been told in perfection exactly as how it originally was told. Though the Keyblade's power was splitting and scattering all over Earth, one individual had the power completely. He was a wandering soul, preaching about light and goodness. He met our Lama Sangwa Dorje on one spot and told him the tales of the Mark and Supreme Elite. After the Lama had his revelation of this monastery being built, he expressed to his successor his wish to have a sanctuary hidden from the world and secret to give thanks and offering to the Supreme Elite. It was only when his successor, Sangwa Dorje's fifth incarnation (that's right, I am Catholic and I don't believe in reincarnation, but these Buddhist monks do), Chatang Chotar, or as he was known, Lama Gulu, that the monastery was established. He was told of the tale passed down from Sangwa to himself and made sure, in secret, a sanctuary was built for the Supreme Elite."

So much information to take in! Now, the story of how this monastery was established is indeed historical fact. However, it of course seems that there was more after all. So much is not documented, but then again, it isn't surprising seeing as how Keyblade wielders blended in and made sure everything was secret. It is amazing that this has been hidden for so long and yet they have tended to it. The four of us stand up and turn back toward the eldest monk with the six by his side.

"This is amazing and..." I said "just... mind blowing, but what I and my friends would like to know is the Mark of Kye. Is it here?"

"That power is not here," the monk replied. "The reason why is because of this tale. The Keyblade wielders that came to Earth mostly were grouped in a place north of here. The mother monastery of Rongbuk is where the power will be. The Keyblade wielders decided that where they are was perfect. Then, the location was basically hidden from the world where no one could find it. They left the Mark of Kye there hidden so no one may come across it and decide to take it for their own. Many centuries later, Lama Gulu would first establish a monastery there that remains the mother of this one. He knew of the power there so the reason why the sanctuary is here is because he knew that your temple and the power must remain separate or it would give away the location of the power. Rather, a stupa was placed where it is. There at Rongbuk is where the Mark of Kye lies." My friends and I are now overwhelmed by this. We now know where it is. We know the Mark of Kye is in Rongbuk Monastery and the stupa there signals where the power lies.

"Thank you very much," I said and the four of us gave him the Keyblade warrior salute. He bows in return. "Well guys, let's get going."

"Oh you must stay here," the elderly monk insisted. "It's already dark outside and it is not wise to travel at night. We have a room for you to use as quarters for the night."

"Thank you. That sounds great," Adrian said. The elderly monk bowed and then he had us stand each of us in front of our statues the way they were lined up. We walk behind the altar and stand in front of each of our own statues. The sanctuary is up on a surface one step above everyone so we had to step up and then stand in front of our statues.

Then, bells were rung and the monks that were on the cushions came out of their mediation and they all saw us standing in front of our statues. It was silent, but then they started chanting. The eldest monk and his six others moved to the back of the room. The six monks sat while the eldest monk came forward up the center aisle and placed a bowl on the altar. He then filled it with incense and took a step back. He looked at us and was trying to motion something. I wasn't sure, but then I got it because at Mass back at home, incense was used during holy days and so the four of us looked at each other and then nodded. Then, we create a small fire in our hands that are closer to the altar (Shane and I used our left hands, while Jack and Adrian used their right). We then wave our hand and send the little flames toward the bowl and the flames enter the bowl and the incense begins to burn. There is no flame visible, but I can see the draft of it rising up. The eldest monk then steps back again and sits and the monks in the room chant again. I realize immediately what's happening. This is a Buddhist ceremony and it's for the Supreme Elite. We are having offerings offered to us and the monks are chanting for us. I felt uncomfortable since I am a Catholic and the only person one should offer to and chant for is God. However, I keep quiet and realize that this is something my ancestor never experienced before the Keyblade War so do it for him. The monks then stop chanting, stand up, and bow. The four of us wave our hands and little light streaks come from our hands and go out to the monks and enters into them. It is obvious they wish for our blessing and so they were bowing asking for it. Sending out the light energy is that blessing.

When they stand up, they then turn toward the center aisle. It is clear that the ceremony is over and so my friends and I walk up the aisle while the monks chant again as we leave. We then head up the stairs, into that hall, and walk through the door into the main chapel. The eldest monk stays with us while the rest come up and they head to their rooms. It is just us and the monk left behind now.

"I have another reason for you to stay," he said. "I fear that darkness may attack this place since you are here. Long ago, I meditated wondering if the Supreme Elite would come again. I saw it and knew they would, but darkness would also follow in their footsteps. I ask that you remain here for the night and for most of tomorrow. Then, you may go on your way to find the Mark." The four of us nodded and we follow him to the living quarters we were granted and had prepared for us. We get settled and go to sleep with much to do tomorrow.

Hmm, how interesting!  It's quite intriguing how the tale of the Mark was kept secret for so many generations!  And now the Supreme Elite are so close to it!  But I fear that the rivals may end up getting the Mark first, and that's bad news! D:

Great chapter, man!  I can't wait for the next one! :3

Chapter 29: Four Heavenly Kings

Axeron, Soraxan, Braxon, and Derron were in the stairwell listening to the conversation between the Supreme Elite and the Buddhist monks. They are going nuts over the information that they are hearing. They are dancing to themselves as they hear a gold rush of information. They hear that the power is not in that monastery, but north in Rongbuk Monastery. They look at each other with shock on their faces and immediately quickly and quietly leave the monastery. They exit out of the monastery and walk out into the premises surrounding the monastery. They open a light corridor and go in it.

"So it's north of here," Derron said.

"Who would've thought just following them would lead us straight to the Mark?" Braxon asked.

"So we show up there, find the stupa, get the power and defeat these frauds, right?" Soraxan asked Axeron.

"No we don't," Axeron replied. "You want to know why no? I want to see the frauds there to watch us take it. When we do so, we defeat the fakes. It's the perfect place for their defeat to come." All of Axeron's comrades nodded in understand and they continue to walk on through the light corridor. When they came out of it, they in Rongbuk Monastery and in the distance is Mt. Everest. They look and see the stupa and head toward it knowing the Mark is near.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All the Lights, Lucians along with Lea, Donald, and Goofy gathered together in the Magic Kingdom in the Plaza in front of Cinderella Castle. There were closer to the castle stage when they gathered. By now, the park had been closed already and all guests gone.

"So the Supreme Elite are on the other side of world right now?" Sora asked. Ventus and Ignis nodded.

"Where did you say they were?" Noctis asked. "I know it is some monastery, but what was that name again?"

"Tengboche Monastery," Ventus replied. "They are getting closer to the Mark now."

"Meanwhile, we had to tell Yen Sid and Mr. Iger where the Elite were," Ignis followed. "They appeared pleased that the Elite found the stone and are closer to finding the Mark of Kye." Then, a dark corridor opened up and Maleficent and Pete came out of it.

"So, they are close to finding the Mark of Kye I presume?" Maleficent asked.

"Yup, they are in Tengboche Monastery on the other side of the world," Ventus replied.

"Well ain't dat somethin'?" Pete said. "Looks like they be gettin' close to kicking them Dark Elite's tail feathers."

"Hmph, as I expected," Maleficent replied. "So the time for the Dark Elite's fall is nigh and then once they are gone, I will continue my quest to rule over all worlds. Consider our alliance over as of now."

"I can't wait until we start beating you back again," Sora said. Maleficent and Pete had a dark corridor opened and then they leave Earth completely going through it. Ephemer and Skuld come out a light corridor just as the dark one disappears.

      "Ephemer! Skuld!" Sora shouts.

"Where were you both?!" Noctis followed. "It's been utter hell! We have been doing the work by ourselves here! Some of us could have used an extra pair of hands." Ephemer put his hand behind his head and had laughed and smiled nervously.

      "Yeah sorry," he replied.

"We were just taking on more of the Dark Elite's soldiers and trying to take the rug from underneath them," Skuld followed.

"Where were you when we left the Disney headquarters and went to Master Yen Sid's tower?" Ventus asked. Ephemer and Skuld now looked troubled and nervous.

"We... uh..." Ephemer said unable to answer.

"Guys, is there something you aren't telling us?" Sora asked firmly.

"Look, we have been given orders to not speak of this," Skuld replied.

      "Orders by whom?" Noctis asked.

"Who told you to not say anything to us?" Sora asked now more concerned. "What are you guys hiding? Who have you been going to?" Skuld and Ephemer had their mouths open about to say something, but couldn't and were immediately interrupted by someone screaming at them.

"WHO CARES?! DOESN'T MATTER!" a male voice screamed. They all turn towards the Plaza Circle and there are the Dark Elite walking toward all of them.

"All I know is the Supreme Elite have now gotten close to the Mark of Kye and we are here," Polemos said. "That makes me very angry. Those two taking out our troops doesn't matter. I have plenty of them anyway."

"We told you you couldn't get the Mark!" Sora said smiling in defiance. Polemos just scoffed.

"Pssh, big deal," he said. "So you told me, I still have troops going after them right now. I will get that Mark no matter what even if I have to slow them down." The Dark Elite then disappeared into a dark corridor.

"Should we go after them?" Noctis asked worried.

"I'd rather you didn't," a different voice said. The group see in place of the Dark Elite Mr. Iger.

"Mr. Iger? How did you-?" Ventus asked not able to finish.

"The Foretellers met with me for a briefing on the Supreme Elite's progress in making sure we both knew and are same page," Mr. Iger replied. "They opened a light corridor for my use to bring me here to meet you when the park closed."

"Why do you think we shouldn't go after the Dark Elite?" Noctis asked. "They are after the Supreme Elite."

"The reason why is destiny is now starting to take over," Iger replied. "Just like when the seven lights fought the thirteen darknesses, destiny acted. The Supreme Elite knew then not to interfere, so goes the same for all of you. You have all done your parts and now the last thing you all must do is just stand by the Supreme Elite when they must fight the Dark Elite." Everyone except Mr. Iger looked down in disappointment and in silence. Their roles are about to come to an end in this endeavor.

"Where will they meet and fight?" Sora asked still looking down.

"They will meet here on Main Street," Mr. Iger replied. "Not the Keyblade Graveyard until later because this park is the center of where the Dark Elite's operations took place most of the time." Sora looked up with a worried expression.

"'Later'? What do you mean?" he asked.

"The Dark Elite will not go down easily," Mr. Iger replied. "You will stand with the Supreme Elite in the first battle, but then it will be the two sides only from then onward. You know the Keyblade Graveyard better than anyone save the Supreme Elite and you know what happened on that plain in ancient time. The Dark Elite will surely want the Supreme Elite to follow like the many before them." Sora looked down again in disappointment and silence for a few moments. Then he looked back up with defiance and courage on his face at Mr. Iger.

"Then we will stand with them anyway, right guys?" Sora said. Everyone then looked up with the same defiance on their faces and nodded. They were then taken into rooms in the Contemporary Resort for the night.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I woke up before my friends did. They remained asleep as clearly they were tired. I slept a long time for it was perfectly sunny out and it felt like it was the later morning like 10:00 am local time. I quietly walked out of the room and out of the guesthouse. I walked out to where I was standing not that far from the monastery entrance like in the middle of the path leading up to it. I saw a few monks walking toward the monastery and they noticed me, stopped cold, and bowed to me. I nod and I walk toward the monastery. The monks were bowing in homage as I walked by and were walking behind me as I walked in. Apparently, this is not just any kind of homage. I feel like this is something more. I continue further walking up the stairs into the stone imprint room, then walking up another set of steps into the courtyard with the prayer flag pole. The monks apparently walked off to the side of the courtyard as I stood in the center of it. There was a yellow line painted on the cobblestones making a square like the courtyard and so the monks were walking just outside of that heading their way to a set of steps that would take them another way into a hall that would connect with the main building and to the main sanctuary. I decided to ask them what I was thinking.

"Excuse me," I call out to them. They immediately turn around to face me and bow.

"Yes great Elite," one of them replied.

"I noticed the overwhelming respect and homage you are giving me," I said. "I just want to know, why are you doing so?"

"Ah, the reason why is very simple," another replied. "You were told the tale of the great lamas Sangwa Dorje and Gulu and how your sanctuaries came to be. They preached about you and the Keyblade. They also preached that these four great Supreme Elite are the descendants of the lokapālas, the Four Heavenly Kings. The weapons you hold are powerful and protect the world. Now, our leader has said to us the deities are here and walk among us and so much respect and homage is to be given to them." I was blown away at the explanation. So they view the Supreme Elite as deities and descendants of four gods in Buddhism and that is the reason why they have given me so much respect and homage.

"W- wow... that is..." I said. I didn't know what to say I was that amazed. "Thank you so much, but really, I am merely another human being."

"No. You four are something greater," the monk replied. They bowed and they went up the stairs off to the side and went into the hall linking to the main building. I decide that I am going to practice my fighting skills right here in the courtyard. I summon my Keyblade and start practicing mixing my martial arts forms and strikes in with it. It was only after about five minutes, I notice a group of monks with musical instruments come from the steps where the other monks went up. I watched them walk down into the courtyard just behind the yellow line and they appeared to be preparing themselves to play.

"You saw me practice?" I asked one of them. They all nodded without saying a word.

"Would you play something as I practice?" I ask them all this time. "It would help greatly and I would appreciate it." They all nod once again.

"We were taught that one of the Kings would wish to practice his skills and then the rest would follow," one monk said. "We would see him in our courtyard practice and it is our duty to play music for his satisfaction and blessing. And so, as you desire, we shall play for you." They prepared themselves and then began to play. I recognize what they are playing immediately; it's one of the pieces of the Expedition Everest queue line and area music. So I let my power and Keyblade take over my body and let my heart tell them what to do. Hearing the instrumental with no drum, I breathed in and out and did slow motions. Once the beat of the drums began, I started making motions to the beat and sound of it all. I did not think, but rather, I let my power, Keyblade, and heart tell my body what to do. I did all kinds of motions and included flips and spins and multiple kinds of acrobatics in the air while the monks played while swinging my Keyblade in strikes and stabs and punching and kicking in the air. I did not see long enough, but noticed my friends came by and they too summoned their Keyblades and started doing what I did to the music. We all flowed together as one. It felt right that we were so connected to where we can do the same things and know what the other is doing. This was done for about five minutes.

As the music finished up, we held our stance for a couple seconds and then stood up. We looked at the monks and gave them the Keyblade warriors salute to them. They in turn bowed to us.

"To the descendants of the Four Heavenly Kings, the Supreme Elite," one monk said "we wish you good tidings on your journey to find the Mark of Kye." Then, they all collect their instruments and walk back inside the monastery. My friends came over to me.

"I guess you needed some spiritual power restored, right?" Adrian asked.

"Yeah, and the music helped," I replied. "It was even better that you guys came along."

"Hey, what was he talking about when he called us 'descendants of the four heavenly kings'?" Jack asked. I explained to them all the Four Heavenly Kings and what they believed. My friends were all amazed.

"Wow, they believe we are gods in human form," Shane said. "That's pretty cool." I nodded along in thought. Clearly, the Supreme Elite have become a great legend taking on many forms and now we are them. It makes me wonder if we really are the worthy ones that will obtain the Mark of Kye.

Edited by KingdomHearts3

Oh wow, descendants of Four Heavenly Kings?  That's definitely some heavy stuff right there!  How very intriguing!  But this is bad! The rivals of the Supreme Elite have a lead on the Mark, and they're getting closer to it! I hope they won't be able to get it!

Ooh, things shall reach their climax soon, and I can't wait! Great chapter, man! :D

Chapter 30: Rongbuk Monastery

My friends and I talked to each other in the courtyard of the monastery when suddenly, the place was invaded by about half a dozen dark troops. They ran in and began attacking us. I immediately had to duck because one swung at my head and then I did one of the flipping attacks I performed during my practice and struck the guy to the ground. From there, he fought to keep me from killing him. He never got up, but just kept fighting from the ground. He swung at my legs a few times clearly trying to flip it the other way, but I merely jumped over and swung down. Soon, I locked him briefly and then pulled a spin move that disarmed him completely and then stabbed at him downward in the middle of his body making blood spray some. He screamed and then quickly his breath went away. I pulled my bloody Keyblade out of him and looked around. Shane and Jack already killed two enemies of theirs making this now four on three. The four of us now gang up on the three warriors left and fought them. They looked rather frightened as we fought them because we put them all on the defensive and then soon slashed through all of them. They all fell to the ground and died immediately. Then, their bodies disintegrated and their hearts floated up to the sky to join Kingdom Hearts. All of us panted a little for breath when the elder monk came out from the monastery and saw the Keyblades lying on the cobblestones. We turn around and see him looking at the Keyblades with concern on his face.

"This is what I feared would happen," he said. "I fear that this isn't the end either. Quickly, head out to the entrance!" We all nod and rush out to the monastery entrance and before us, we see thirteen dark Keyblade wielders with a general in front of all of them. He was the one wearing the most fancy armor. The rest had regular clothing or armor that isn't as fancy.

"Well it seems we caught up to you all," the general said. He then took off his helmet. He had spiky brown hair with black highlights at the tips. His eyes were gold like the many dark Keyblade wielders and appeared to be the same age as me.

      "Who are you?!" Adrian demanded.

"The name is Nox, at your service," he replied and nodded as he greeted. Something felt familiar about him like we came across him before.

"Hey, didn't we-?" I began to ask, but then he cut me off.

"-come across me?" he finished. "Yes you did. I was the one who had Mr. Iger interrogated. I sensed that you would come so I sent the Dark Elite's soldiers under my command to interrogate him instead. I remained hidden in the shadows watching everything unfold. When the battle at the Walt Disney headquarters went underway, I slipped away in a dark corridor. Now, I stand here before you."

"So why did you try and storm the monastery?" Jack asked.

"Well, great Elite," Nox replied "the point of that was to force you all out. I knew if we went in, it would have been a bloodbath with us most likely on the losing end. You would have summoned either more warriors to fight with you or unleash a great power that will destroy us all in one great shot. So, we had to draw you all out so it would be easier for at least some of us to leave to fight again."

"It's to also slow us down from getting the Mark, isn't it?" Shane asked. Nox smiled a little and chuckled.

"Why yes. That is also another reason," he replied. "We sense we are close to it and know it isn't that far. It properly belongs to the Dark Elite so I am afraid that you all will be put under siege." The dozen other Keyblade wielders began surrounding us with Keyblades in hand and pointing at us pushing us back. We had to retreat and protect the elder monk. I immediately created a light orb in my hand, raised it to the sky, and fired it. It went high and everyone around us watched it fly high. It went so high that we lost sight of the orb and then we see a small flash. Then behind us, about six light corridors open and light Keyblade wielders come out of them. Now it's thirteen dark warriors against a decade of light warriors. Nox appeared a bit amazed, but he did not really change his expression.

"I see," Nox said. "You have decided to be outnumbered anyway. Am I correct?"

"We can stand against two on one," I replied.

"Indeed, however, I actually had an intrigue about you," Nox said taking a few steps in my direction. "I asked Polemos about you and he would tell me some fascinating things. My curiosity was aroused then and I kept asking more. The stories were intriguing and so I wished to eventually come across you and here I am. Now, get ready; I am coming at you!" He summoned his Keyblade and took stance. Everyone else charged at each other including my friends. Nox and I swung our Keyblades at each other and began fighting. He was skilled and yet fought like a gentlemen. He was not dirty, he was not vicious, he just fought a clean fight. There is something rather interesting about him. This comes into my mind as I fight him. Breaking off, he starts using dark spells even combined some that I knew of. I, in retaliation, started using other magic spells like Blade of Seven and Mega Flare to push him back. The Mega Flare did the trick and it sent him back about fifteen yards. He immediately got up and was in a ready stance. I merely walked toward him with no urgency.

"You are powerful as I expected," Nox said.

"You are quite skilled yourself," I replied. "I find something interesting about you. You seem to be rather gentlemen-like for someone of the darkness. How can that be?"

"I might serve darkness, but that doesn't mean I must become savage," Nox replied. "I can still defeat you while maintaining dignity and humanity. Anyway, my duty is to slow you down still, for defeating you will only make that easier." We both clashed again and fought some more. It was purely hand on hand with no magic. I just used my skills without my martial arts to disarm him and strike him across the abdomen making him slide back some. He grabbed his abdomen and went on one knee. There was a bit of blood, but I did not kill him.

"Well done," Nox said. He then stood up and nodded toward me. "Exactly as I thought." He then opened a dark corridor leaving everyone else behind to fight.

"Wait! Where are you going?!" I called out after him. He turned his head to see me while keeping his back toward me.

"We will see each other again," Nox said smiling. He then went into the dark corridor and departed. I was rather amazed at this Keyblade wielder. He was not like every other dark warrior. No, there was something interesting about him. There was more to him than what meets the eye. I don't think in the near future I will see what that is. I turn around and see Keyblade wielders dead and disintegrating leaving their Keyblades behind. There were five dead on the dark side and three dead on the light. The rest of the dark soldiers immediately decided to retreat and escaped through dark corridors. Their dead's Keyblades left behind were disintegrated by my and my friends' magic. I walk back to check on my friends and thank the warriors who assisted us, who then went away in light corridors. We turn toward the monastery to find the elder monk along with about ten other monks come out of the monastery. They all bowed to us and then stood back up. The elder monk spoke to us.

"Supreme Elite, you must now go to Rongbuk," he admonished. "You must go immediately. I fear darkness is at its doorstep. The Mark of Kye cannot be taken by the Dark Elite. You may meet resistance there from any darkness already there. We wish you good karma." They all bowed again and the four of us gave the Keyblade warrior salute. We then open a light corridor and head on our way to Rongbuk Monastery.

Coming out of the light corridor, we find ourselves in Rongbuk Monastery. We were just outside of the premises and looking up, we see the grand majestic Mt. Everest and directly in our line of sight is the stupa. It brings excitement and an unbelievable feeling of pride. We have been looking for so long and now we are almost there. Immediately, the words of the clue I found in Animal Kingdom near Expedition Everest come ringing back into my ears as we stand within the eyes of the mountain and the stupa marks exactly where that ancient power is. We begin to walk to the monastery when we see an explosion and a puff of smoke rising. We begin running and there are dark Keyblade wielders making chaos with the monks that already reside there. There were about eight dark Keyblade wielders so the four of us summon our weapons again and charge at the villains. It immediately becomes a two on one battle as each of us take on two at a time. Suddenly, another Keyblade wielder is fighting besides me to my right and we all end up in a lock. I look and I can't believe who it is.

"You! Axeron?! Why are you...?!" I ask not finishing.

"I know the Mark is here!" Axeron replied. "Now, is not the time to discuss that!" He broke the lock and we fought one on one now. Soon, all dark Keyblade warriors are killed off by my friends and I and the rivals. Once all is calm, we turn toward our rivals. They stand side by side each other as do my friends with me.

"You're after the Mark of Kye too?" I asked.

"Yeah. There's no way I would want you frauds to get it," Axeron replied. "That will finally allow us to defeat you and to officially be the Supreme Elite. Polemistis passed down his power so it could make its way into worthy hands. Now it's time to make that happen." I decided that this was not worth arguing over now. This is the same thing I heard before. I don't want to waste my time.

"Look, I've no time for your delusions," I snapped back irking Axeron. "We're after it too. So with that said, why don't we both look for it. Sound okay?"

"Fine, but we are going to try and get it first, got it?" Axeron asked rudely. I merely smiled and nodded.

"Okay then. Whatever you say," I said. Adrian grabbed my shoulder and turned me towards him.

"Dude, what are you doing?" he asked. "Are you serious? You want to risk losing this thing?"

"Look, I have a feeling things won't go the way they want them to," I replied. "Why don't we let things play out? If we do, it will work in our favor." Adrian acquiesced and let go of my shoulder. I nodded at Shane and Jack in reassurance of the plan. I turn toward the rivals and they head toward the stupa. We follow behind them making sure they remain in our sight. Getting to the stupa, there are prayer flags on ropes that are tied to the top of the stupa. The eight of us look around seeing if there is anything that could help us get to the Mark.

"So what should we try and find?" I ask Axeron.

"There must be something like a switch," he replied. "If not that, then there has to be a written clue."

"Perhaps I may be of assistance," someone said from behind us. We look and there is a Buddhist nun from the monastery standing by. She was smiling and was not very tall in stature. I alone am about a head taller than her.

      "Really? How?" Shane asked.

"If you come with me, I will show you," she replied and we followed her into the monastery. We were taken to a rather hidden part of the monastery and into a small sanctuary. There on an altar on a stand was a stone tablet with sanskrit on the top and the writing from the clue stone from Animal Kingdom. The nun pulled the stone off of the stand and held it in her hands. She turned toward us and addressed us.

"Our monastery's founder, Lama Ngawang Tenzin Norbu," she began "knew of the power that resided here from an ancient Keyblade wielder that was also a preacher of the light and good will. He also knew of the Supreme Elite and believed that one day, the Mark of Kye would be awakened and take its residence in the hearts of the Supreme Elite. Now, that day has come." All of us didn't look at each other, but we knew what the two sides were thinking. The nun gave me the tablet.

"It's an ancient incantation to be read near the stupa," she continued. "Read it there aloud and the way to the Mark will be shown to you." She once again motioned for us all to follow her out of the sanctuary and out to the stupa where she had us facing in the direction of Mt. Everest, which in my opinion makes sense since we are in the eyes of the mountain and that is where we must face: toward Mt. Everest. We all stood a bit away from the stupa with everyone standing behind me and me out front some. I am about fifteen feet away from the stupa and am holding the tablet. I look at the nun behind me and she nods. I nod back, look at the tablet and say the incantation. I read the clue stone language (from now, it will be considered Keyblade warrior language) since I couldn't read nor speak Sanskrit.

"The time has come to awaken," I say. "Chosen ones of light have now approached. Great power, lift up your gates and allow the chosen ones to take you up in their hearts and unite all hearts under one." I look up and nothing happens. It's disappointing, but then rumbling occurs and just in front of my feet, stairs form and go down into the ground below the stupa. All of us are flabbergasted as these stairs will lead us to the Mark of Kye. The nun comes up to me and takes the tablet out of my hands still smiling.

"May you have good karma," she said to me and then she went back up to the monastery. I look behind and my friends and the rivals come up to me. I nod and go down the stairs into a hall that gets dark. I can already feel the power of it. The Mark of Kye is near.

The Mark Of Kye is near indeed! Gahhh, we're getting closer!!!  I can't wait!

Hmm, so it seems that the Supreme Elite and their rivals are working together for the moment! Interesting! Also, I'm loving Nox! You made him into quite a badass gentlemanly villain! Great work as always, man! :D

Chapter 31: The Worthy Ones

My friends and I and our rivals walked down the stairs into a dark hallway. I stop for a second and look ahead seeing only darkness while also feeling the power of the Mark ahead. I got myself ready and we went forward. It got darker and darker before there was no light at all. It was pitch black to where I couldn't tell the difference between the dark of me closing my eyes and the dark of this hall.

"Good lord it's the Realm of Darkness in here!" I said in annoyance. "Someone have a light?"

"I got you covered," Shane replied and he summoned his Keyblade and light glowed around it. On the walls, we see unlit torches hanging on each side of the walls and so Shane has the light recede and a fireball appear on the tip of his Keyblade and brought it up to one torch lighting it and then lit the one across from it. Immediately, the torches light themselves further down the hall, but we could only see so far in the darkness and the torches were spaced out pretty extensively. Shane unsummons his Keyblade and we all walk onward. There is no writing or anything on the walls, just torches and the rings that hold them. It was a little surprising to me, but we moved forward without dwelling on it. We decided to not say anything to our rivals here. Any misspoken word could create more tension even before we reach the Mark of Kye.

Walking more, I feel the power slowly get stronger and stronger and it seems like we are walking further and further into the Earth. I am not sure exactly where on Earth we are at this point. It seems like we are walking toward Mt. Everest, but I am not sure anymore. Every time we begin to walk out of the reach of light from the torches, two more light up whenever we get in close proximity. It's interesting how it happens. Anyway, we soon come to a set of large doors with writing all over them and with symbols I haven't seen before. I recognized the writing as it is the Keyblade warrior language, but the symbols are unfamiliar to me.

"Huh, so it has come to this," I said.

      "Well, now what?" Jack asked.

"It's obvious that this writing has possible instructions on it," Axeron said.

"Yeah, but what about the symbols?" Soraxan asked. Axeron went up to the door and looked closely at the writing and the symbols.

"Good question bud," Axeron replied. "I am not sure how to answer that." Axeron then turned to us.

"Hey, can you guys read this?" he asked. I smirked figuring I might as well put his claims to the test.

"But I thought you guys are the Supreme Elite?" I asked sarcastically. All of a sudden, he got a panicked face and then he showed his "tough" side.

"Of course we are!" he replied. "We can read this no problem!" He then looked at the writing and looked at it saying "mhm", "uh huh", "ah okay", and so on. I just rolled my eyes and went forward to the door.

"Ugh, move over," I said with disgust and I look it over. "Okay, so I am basically reading a long tale of the Mark and how it came to be. I am reading about the Keyblade wielders that came here that helped create this power."

"Anything on how to open the door?" Braxon asked. I looked a little longer and I sighed in disappointment.

      "Apparently not," I replied.

"Oh great, just what we needed," Adrian said.

"We endure hell just so we can't even get to the Mark. Just perfect," Jack followed.

"On the bright side, I feel the power and I know for sure that it's on the other side of this door," I said.

"That doesn't make it better," Derron said. "Knowing that the Mark is on the other side only makes us feel worse." Everyone decided to just sit around and chill. So we have no clue how to get the door open and reach the Mark. All that's on the doors are the tale of the Mark and symbols that I am not familiar with. My friends and the rivals just decide to hang around with some sitting and others leaning on the walls. I continue to study the door looking for anything that could help us open the doors. I look at the symbols and they are larger than everything else. There are six of them and they are all different with three on each door. Keyblade warrior writing is between them and they were all different from each other. I took an extra look at these and study them trying to determine what they each meant. I was not sure what exactly these symbolized, but I couldn't help, but think of the theme parks. But why though? Did they know even back then that six kingdoms would rise up on Earth?

"Could it be those?" I asked aloud. Everyone looked at me.

"What? What could they be?" Axeron asked.

"I think that each of these symbols represents the six theme parks," I replied. Everyone now stood up and they all looked at the symbols.

"No!" Adrian exclaimed. "But how?" I couldn't answer that question.

"I may have the answer to that," Axeron replied. "I heard of a legend that the Keyblade wielders that put the Mark on the other side of this door may have also known that one day six kingdoms would rise up in this world. I don't know what this here means though and what it's asking." Suddenly, a small light appears in my right hand. I look at it and inside of it, I could just see Cinderella Castle in it. Suddenly, a light appeared in Shane's hand and it has Sleeping Beauty Castle in it. Then four other lights appear in the hands of the rivals and they have the images of the castles from the other six theme parks around the world.

"Did... they...?" I ask unable to finish.

"I think that the parks gave us a piece of their lights," Soraxan said.

"How can this be?" Shane asked.

"Did either of you go to any of the kingdoms?" Axeron asked us. Shane and I nod. "We split up and went to the other kingdoms around this world as well and I think they sensed the Mark of Kye would be found and so they would need to give us some of their power." It blew my mind because this must have been power stored in our Keyblades and we didn't know it. All of us who had the light orbs in hand raised them and the orbs went to the symbols lighting them up. The doors then opened up to lit torches and steps that went down more. Now I felt the power of the Mark more strongly now and so all of us went down the stairs. It was a long staircase, but we soon made it down and walked through the entrance into a room. It was a decent sized room looking like it's about the size of an elementary school gymnasium except the ceiling is about fourteen feet above us. This room is completely lit now and along the wall straight ahead of us is writing and murals of all sorts made clearly by Keyblade wielders. However, right in the middle of the wall straight ahead of us is it. On the wall ahead of us is the Mark of Kye. It is shaped in the letter of X (chi) like how Master Xehanort portrayed it. In the Mark is glowing light blue light with darker shades moving upward in patterns to make it look like flames inside it. Around the Mark is what looks like carvings of some temple around the Mark and off to the sides are carved armored Keyblade warriors looking in at the Mark with hands raised.

"Wow..." was all I could say. None of us could say anything for this moment. This is it; this is what keeps the scattered Keyblade wielders together as one and whoever takes up this power has authority over all of them.

"Now, you remember the agreement right?" Axeron asked breaking the silence. My first reaction was to protest, but I remembered what I said earlier and I merely nodded.

"Yes, you will be the ones to first try to take it up," I replied calmly. Axeron nodded and so he and his friends took a step forward in front of us. They nodded at each other and summoned their Keyblades. They then pointed them at the Mark and fired a light beam at it to unlock it. At first nothing happened, but then the Mark started glowing and light was moving around and in it in a more violent way. Immediately, a large shockwave from the Mark erupted knocking the four rivals backwards while my friends and I had to brace ourselves and keep from falling over. Looking up, we see the four rivals on their back panting some and slowly getting up. They look on their bodies to see nothing different about them.

"What the heck happened?" Braxon demanded.

"We weren't accepted by it," Soraxan replied.

"You want to explain Axeron?" Derron asked.

"I know why," he replied breathing through his teeth looking very angry. He slowly got up while turning toward us. "It's because of those four idiots. We still haven't defeated them and because of that we weren't accepted." He was now standing completely on his feet with his friends and now had his Keyblade summoned  with his friends following.

"I've waited a long time to defeat you idiots," he said. "Now I get an excuse to bring you down and force you all to see reality!" My friends and I said nary a word and summoned our own Keyblades and took stance. After a pause, all of us clash with me battling Axeron, Shane battling Braxon, Jack fighting Derron, and Adrian fighting Soraxan. We used the whole entire room for our fight. Axeron was fighting a lot harder than what I expected. It surprised me some and so when we get into a small stalemate and pause, he looks at me with a maniacal looking grin.

"Thanks to the seven lights," he said "I have gotten a lot stronger and now can defeat you at last."

"Ah. but see here," I replied. "You are already thinking too far ahead instead of now. This battle has just begun." I then immediately break the stalemate by parrying his Keyblade and then gave him a reverse punch with my left hand. He immediately gritted his teeth and struck back at me and we were at it hand on hand once again. He soon started using attacks like Flame Sword, Blossom of Thorns, and even Brave End and more. I used barrier a lot and Counter Blasted when I had the chance and then went on the offensive using Rosea Arcanum as well as Dark End and Ice Blade. He held his own and fired Meteor Rain at me, but I backfliped and threw my Keyblade along with light copies of it toward him. It missed and all went into the ground making the copies disappear. I landed and resummoned my Keyblade. Right when I landed, Axeron fired Icicle Spear at me, but I slashed through the first set of spears, but slightly moved back dodging the second and then charged forward blasting through the spears in the ground and Axeron and I clashed again and held it in a stalemate. It gave us a good chance to look around and already see my friends and the friends of the rivals. My friends were still standing and panting while the rivals were on the ground grabbing their abdomens in pain. My friends won! Axeron saw and was horrified at the sight.

"WHAT?! NO!" he screamed. His friends then looked up at him.

"Axeron! You have to stop now!" Soraxan said. "It's over! We can't do this anymore!"

"Yeah you have to stop now!" Derron said "It's enough!"

"They are the real Supreme Elite! Not us!" Braxon followed. Axeron was gritting his teeth and growling as he looked into space thinking as we held the stalemate.

"NOOOOO!!" he screamed. "AS LONG AS ONE OF US STANDS, I WILL KEEP FIGHTING! WE ARE THE SUPREME ELITE!" He broke the stalemate and attacked more violently than before. This time, it was to my head that he swung. I had to once again parry a strike and this time I spun around and spin kicked him across the face. He fell over onto the ground and then swung at my feet taking them from underneath me. I fell forward, but flipped over so I landed on my back and now I am fighting him from the ground where I was on my back and he was standing. He took a swing down and I rolled over backwards onto my feet and from there I planted firmly into the stone and lunged at Axeron like a lion attacking its prey. He managed to block my attack and we held it for a brief standoff. He broke it by giving me a punch to the face and then hit me with the hilt of his Keyblade. It hurt, but that just fueled my ambition even more because no one ever strikes me that way. I charged back at him and we fight again while I pull a couple spin moves while striking. I pull a spin move in which I get him open ever so slightly and spin around and slash him striking him across the abdomen.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" Axeron screamed as he was sent backwards toward the Mark. He then was forced on one knee and was heavily breathing. I was gasping for breath myself as I stood with Keyblade in stance. All of us are silent with the sound of mine and Axeron's breathing. Axeron has shock and disbelief all over his face. It looks traumatized. Devastation was written in those eyes and I felt it. I then stood up fully and unsummoned my Keyblade. There was silence for a little more before Axeron fell onto both of his knees.

"H-how...?" he asked. "How can this happen? We possess the power passed down truly from the first Supreme Elite. It was passed down from successor to successor for thousands of years and came down to us. How can we not be the Supreme Elite?" I saw Polemistis next to me with compassion on his face along with Kyrios, Kidemonas, and Aiton next to my friends. Polemistis walked up to Axeron and bent down.

"Hey bud," he said. Axeron looked up and saw Polemistis and great awe came on his face and he now sees the first Elite standing in the same room as us and looking just like us.

"We passed down the power of the Keyblade, not our power," Polemistis continued. "The Keyblade's power made its way to you. We made sure to live on by having our hearts be sealed away. When people who looked like us and were like us in every way awoke us, we would take residence in their hearts and become a part of them. The four you have been denying are indeed the Supreme Elite. They are us and we are them. Basically, you have been denying me the whole time as the Supreme Elite and going around preaching I am fake. It gave me sorrow to see you deny me so much and defame me and to finally fight me. Why? What did I do to you?" Axeron immediately put his head down and started sobbing.

"Oh great Elite!" he sobbed. "Please forgive me! I wanted to succeed you and carry your legacy on! I am a fool and I let my desire for power turn me dark! PLEASE FORGIVE ME!" He sobbed a lot more and it made me choke up and shed a tear. Polemistis then smiled and put a hand on Axeron's head. Axeron stopped sobbing for a moment and looked up at Polemistis who was smiling compassionately at him. Soraxan, Derron, and Braxon went up to Axeron and gathered around him to comfort him. They all then stood up fully. The first Elite stood in line the way my friends and I were and then they returned to us. The rivals looked at us for a little bit then looked at each other before going on one knee and giving us the Keyblade warrior salute and bowing their heads.

"I am sorry for denying who you are and defaming you," Axeron said. "Can you forgive me?" I smiled and walked up to Axeron who did not move.

"I forgive you," I replied. "I would like to start over as friends." I then reach out my hand to him. He looked up at me and I smiled. He then grabbed my hand and I raised him up and we looked into each other's eyes. I was smiling and then he came around to smiling and nodded.

Axeron then had his friends move behind us and the four of us lined up. We then summon our Keyblades and point them at the Mark of Kye. We then fire a beam of light at the Mark and wait. Nothing happens at first, but then it starts glowing and then four little orbs of light blue light come out and circle around the room a bit with a streak behind them. Suddenly, the lights move faster and rush toward the four of us and hit us right in the middle of our abdomens. We feel like we got punched a bit. I put my hand to my abdomen a little and look down. The light first shines right in the middle of my body and then forms as an X on my body. It then remains and glows like it did on the wall. Looking back at it, the light disappears leaving behind a X (chi) shaped niche in it. My friends and I are feeling shock and just turn around to face our now new friends. They have amazement and awe on their faces. The Mark of Kye has chosen the worthy ones. The Supreme Elite are the worthy ones.
