Armor of the Master Boss Battle?

Posted

Since this guy sort of changes tactics depending on who you play as who did you find the easiest character to tackle with and the hardest?

does he change tactics? i guess terra is the hardest simply because he has the awful slide dash. he was pretty easy to fight overall, but maybe that was because i had maxed out everyone's levels and had the best weapons.

or maybe he was just poorly programmed like the other secret bosses in that game

or maybe because in the 2.5 version the secret bosses from the multiplayer world were made a lot weaker

ooh fair point there

Seriously, Armour of the Master was really hard in the original BBS FM, seriously, he was really above Vanitas and arguably above MF.

Honestly, I found fighting Samurai Dude super easy! The only thing that gave me trouble was that his life bar was hard to whittle down, cuz his defense was always ridiculously high!  But yeah, he's not really all that fast, so no matter which character I was using, it wasn't too hard beating him with any of them, ya know? :3

Did Shotlocks come into play a lot?

Lol, yeah, Shotlocks helped out quite a bit! :P

Heh, he's not the only one!  I also maxed out all three characters too!  Three Level 99's adding up to the glorious number of 297!!!  Bam, that's quite the number! :D

i just spammed shotlocks to beat it

Most notable difference in your character selection against him is the fact there is an attack that he only uses against Terra where he brings up the ground and hurls it at you... an attack he only uses against Ven where he Summons tornadoes... and an attack he only uses against Aqua where... I forget what he did. Some rainbow-y attack thing.

In this sense, whether or not an attack is part of his moveset depends on the character you're using. More accurately, it depends on which of the three playable characters are participating in the battle, since on PSP BBSFM, multiplayer was a thing.
