~ Final Fantasy XIV: Online ~

Posted

now they've just announced the open beta test will start tommorrow, so i think a thread should be made for this.

the game to due to be released on september 30th

i alpha tested it, and it is really good. i suggest you download it here (although with the mass downloads, it may be a bit slow)

this is only a PC beta, the PS3 version is meant to be released in march, so the beta test for that will probably be at around that time too.

say what you think (or post vids and screenies) below.

you could still get the PC version

I'm anticipating this game! :3

-can't wait to get special item-

Moving this to Entertainment because it's about a game and w/e.

But as it says in the poll, I'm not really that into MMO's.

Final Fantasy hasn't disappointed me though, so we'll see.

It looks fun, but my poor little netbook probably couldn't handle it. ;_; I'd have to either use my mom's lap-top (which I really don't like using) or the old dinosaur that takes 20 minutes to start up.

I would love to play the PC beta, but my laptop isn't built for gaming, and its specs are very low. So, i'm waiting it out and hoping I get into the PS3 beta, hopefully it doesn't disappoint. My mate got into the closed beta, but he never bothered with it after he installed it because it lagged alot on his PC.

i was in the closed beta too, and it did lag. alot

but it's a BETA for an ONLINE game on the PC, how could it not lagg?

Yeah, but he said it was lagging to the point where the game was unplayable. When you're in a beta while you can experience lag, you want the game at least be playable.
