Is it only me who feels like if Kingdom Hearts II's manga and game were mixed together, the product would be something godlike? The 13th Kenpachi 4,279 Posted February 24, 2016 (edited) I read the first volume of KH1 (physical copy), it's great but I would LOVE a far more serious vibe to the KH manga. I haven't read any other one, but are the fights in the KH2 manga with the ORG 13 members any good? Seeing a much more graphic KH manga would be cool, Sora fighting to keep his life on the line and the story could be more shounen inspired. Since the KH series has a lot of plot elements/character archetypes that are exactly like shounen Sora-Happy main character, Riku-rival/best friend of MC, much more darker personality Kairi- female friend of MC, usually useless Evil organization/group that the hero and his friend defeat- Org 13 Happy/goofy moments, boss of the organization is OP (Pain, Chrollo Lucifer etc) And so forth. What I'm trying to say is-KH would make a great shounen. Sora gaining power-ups as he goes through the worlds, using his new power to defeat each new enemy. But it's got to be like a shounen manga. Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) 3,859 Posted February 24, 2016 Sorry, I utterly disliked the manga. I've read most of KH1, both of CoM, 2 or 3 of KH2 and a bit of Days. I honestly think that Shiro Amano made a shit out of KH with the mangas. This is my opinion, I don't expect you to agree, but I hope you do respect it the same way as I try to respect your own. DragonMaster 1,166 Posted February 25, 2016 I haven't read the KH2 manga yet, but if I take what you said and apply it to 358/2 days, then I wholeheartedly agree. As for KH1 and KH CoM, I wasn't as impressed with the manga. They felt like they moved a bit too fast, whereas Days seemed to be the correct pace.
