Posted April 8, 20169 yr . The man who sung Digimon opening 1-Butterfly passed away due to cancer. He also sung Fire for digimon frontier. and the 'Biggest Dreamer' for Digimon tamers as well as the opening for Digimon 02. April 8, 20169 yr Darn. I loved Kouji Wada. I'm not really a big fan of 02 and Frontiers JPN OPs but Butterfly and Biggest Dreamer are some of my favourite songs. Time to listen to Butterfly on repeat for the rest of the day. R.I.P
April 8, 20169 yr Yeah, I just heard about it. Didn't even know he was sick... and he just made new versions of his songs for tri... Thank you Kouji Wada, your music means a lot to me. R.I.P.
April 8, 20169 yr Thank you Kouji Wada for all the wonderful Digimon songs. I am just so sad that you passed away. Thank you for your work on Butterfly (tri ver.) even though your health condition is getting worse. Rest In Peace Kouji Wada. Your fans are happy that you make at least your last come back. May God bless your soul.
April 8, 20169 yr If only I knew how to put the link thing properly, I would use the video of the first spirit evolution scenes from the Digimon Frontier Movie: Island of Lost digimon for the sake of the background music, because it was also reused later for a death scene-Koichi's. The reason why I bring this up is because I want to use the score as a dirge, but can't, because I don't know how to use the link function properly. Sorry.

(Call me biased, but hey, it was good.) You'll be missed, Kouji Wada. "You may be gone, but your music and memories will live on inside our hearts." Rock on, everyone.
April 8, 20169 yr You gotta hand it to him for creating the Tri version of Butterfly, even while fighting against cancer Rest in peace Kouji Wada, you will be missed
