How many battles roughly does it take for a raid boss to appear and is there a way to choose which boss you fight, I've been fighting dark side the past 8 times and he just keeps getting stronger, it's literally impossible for me to beat him without spending ap because I die 3 times during the event. Was hoping there was a way to choose either behemoth or guard armor at this point.

I don't think you can choose but after a while if you don't beat it, it'll go away. Are you in a party? They could help you defeat a boss

As far as I know it's pretty random, both in when and how often it shows up, and in what kind of boss it is. It might even depend on how far into the game you are too. So far I've been getting either Darkside or Guard Armor, occasionally a Behemoth or two, and they tend to get a little bit stronger each time, but theoretically so should you. I do know that there will be event specific Raid Bosses when those events come around, like Halloween themed and Christmas themed ones when it's the appropriate season, based on preexisting Japanese footage. You just gotta go along with it for now, keep trying to level up and build stronger medals.

well I'm on the last mission so I've been farming the missions that I have the highest lux record on and whenever a raid pops up its always dark side, he is level 15 at this point and it takes 8 turns in order to beat him( and that's being able to just gun for his health rather than weak points), it's kind of a catch 22 seeing as the only way for me to get stronger is to get keyblade cost points so I can equip all of my 6*, but at this point the only way to get those is by leveling up and getting free avatar boards.

I the begin I mostly got him with 1/2 hits .

Would advice to use specials or lvl up.
