Yesterday Betis draw against Celta de Vigo.

Erm, does looking at the twitter count?

Oh geez, I am thinking of American football. Oops, wrong thread.

So in the premier league right now, there are only two teams who could win it, and four games left to play. Seeing as Vardy's out for a few, and the only team that could give the Spurs a hard time is Newcastle, I'd say as long as we don't draw a single game from now on, we've won it! We only need five more points to catch up, and I'm so excited! This is gonna be the first time in a generation that Tottenham Hotspur could win!

Kane and Dele Alli are on form and the Foxes' number one is out. WE'RE GONNA WIN

This is something else that I love about the Premier League, how there's a wider variety of teams who can actually win!

As for La Liga, only Barça, Madrid (mainly these two) and Atlético de Madrid have a good chance of winning. Of course, you sometimes get someone else who could win it like Sevilla, Villarreal or Valencia xD

I'm a Liverpool fan and I'm still recovering from that win against Dortmund last week.

I just checked the Premier League table and Tottenham have got a nice chance of winning! Especially if Leicester City lose against Man United and Tottenham win against Chelsea next week!

You're not dead after that Derby are you?

Haha oh no. Everton really didn't show up at all! 4-0 was a totally unexpected before kick off. Jurgen Klopp is making me enjoy watching football again, I really hope we have a strong finish to the season and win the Europa League. I think Top 4 is slightly out of our reach, but Europa League is very much a priority.

It's been a tough time as a Liverpool supporter these past few years, but Klopp has given me the belief! :D

As for yourself, I really hope Spurs win the league. Leicester have had a great season and I know many would like to see them win the league, but I think Spurs have a far better squad compared to Leicester and have generally played better football over the season.

Sevilla FC 2, Real Betis Balompié 0. We lost, but this means nothing for us since we'll always say "¡Viva el Betis manque pierda!" (Hurray Betis even if it loses!).

Note: This match is important for us because Sevilla is from the same city as Betis and therefor are our main rivals.

It's basically a derby right? Like the Old Firm or Merseyside or the North London ones (f*ck Arsenal)

It's a derby, I just didn't type in that word because I wasn't sure if it was used in English too (it obviously comes from there if it is used xD)

Unlucky! Are Sevilla a strong side? I mostly ask because they are in the other semi-final in the Europa League. I'm not familiar with how the two Spanish sides Villareal and Sevilla play and I'm wondering if the sides are tricky given that Liverpool are also still in the competition. Of course though Sevilla have won the competition two years running :S

Sevilla won the competition 2 years running, but not only these last years, but also back in 2005; Sevilla are really good I'm afraid, Betis played a lot better than what was expected and still failed :/

This year Villareal is even better, so that's even worse.

Liverpool are still good though, they could win, but I wouldn't say they've got the upper hand, especially against Sevilla since they've left La Liga aside (because they can't really go any further), and also because all Sevilla fans want another Euroleague, don't know why xD

If you win the Europa League you get Champions League football. This is largely why I believe Liverpool are taking it far more seriously this year (the competition is largely ignored by English teams and the media here) as it is our best route into that competition.

I figured as much. I guess no game is easy so we'll have to play the best we can :)

Is it tough supporting a team in a league that is essentially dominated by Barcelona and Real Madrid (and I guess Athletico now too)? I've always been used to a more open league in England, although I do remember when Man Utd were good (much to my dismay). Not that I support my team because they win titles (I've never seen Liverpool win the league in my lifetime), but I know it can be tough at times supporting a club when they don't win trophies on a regular basis.

To be honest, you rarely expect your team to win the league unless you support any of the two big teams or the typical 3rd place like Atlético now (and sometimes 4th place like Valencia in the past). For example, Sevilla try to get closer and closer to the first place year after year, but since now you can enter the Champions through the Euroleague that's what they do now and kind of lose interest in the league. Another example, Betis (the team I support) just wants to stay in 1st Division for a few years and then try to beat the Euroleague (which they never do) and then drop to 2nd Division because they can't keep up with both competitions xD

England's league is more even, a wider variety of teams can win, but in the past it was always Man United, Chelsea and sometimes Liverpool or some other team as far as I'm aware.

Ah I see! I suppose it isn't as bad as the French league. I think PSG are the only team competing there.

Yeah since the introduction of the Premier League in 1992, Man Utd won it the most, but only Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City and Blackburn have won it also. This is why everyone wants to see Leicester win. This year has been far more open and the traditional Top 4 or 5 teams have been poor (except Spurs). Liverpool have really dipped in recent years, but with Klopp now our manager I really want to hope for better things. Liverpool haven't won the league since 1989 so for me the biggest highlight when following them was when we beat AC Milan in the 2005 CL final! That was great :)

Yeah! I know this time the English league is surprising everyone with the teams that may win it! And many things have changed in the English league, not only Liverpool has dipped recently, look at Chelsea! xD

Chelsea look to be having a strong end to the season, but I think a lot of the big teams in England have struggled with inconsistency. It's interesting to see the views on the league from others. :P

You're both so right, this has definitely been the most exciting and unpredictable season of the premier league since it started!

I think the only teams that have been consistent are Spurs, Leicester and Aston villa. And even though Leicester is still top of the league, there's still a chance for spurs to win, and all the other teams know that, which is why almost every match I've seen in the past few weeks have been so amazing to watch. It's like the pace has increased by ten times and everyone's trying to get the best results possible instead of settling. It's so great!

Haha Aston Villa. Though you are right, they have been consistently bad all season. I think if Spurs miss out it'll still be a massive achievement! Like I said before, I still think they have the best team over Leicester, but everything seems to be going Leicester's way as of late. I'll be very interested to see how they fair in the Champions League next year.

I think Leicester have a lot of consistent fire power, their lads are just going for it with everything because, well, wouldn't you? It does suck for us, but I won't be too upset if they win, it's been a bloody great competition and we both deserve the title. As for the champions league, I'm gonna love to see how spurs are gonna do up against Europe's finest, especially the German teams.

I still remember Gareth Bale's hat trick against Inter Milan all those years ago. Deservedly, Spurs are back in the Champions League. I think the performance against Dortmund in the Europa League was because they had the eye on the league. I hope it goes right to the wire!
