Oathion 37 Posted September 4, 2010 Okay, so for the past few days i've been looking at most of the BBS threads and realized something... People kept saying that "KHBBS is on PSP not on PS3" or stuff about componet cables. So I was thinking, how are you gonna play the game? PSP - Play it as it should be, on the PSP PS3 - Use "Remote Play" feature and play it on the PS3 with a controller or TV - Use componet cable to connect to your TV and play through the PSP For me i'm going with the PSP option. But if I should get the money for the componet cable, i'll go along with the TV option too. Plus I don't have a PS3. How about you?
xigbar 1 Posted September 4, 2010 I bought component cables a long time ago, just for this game. Unfortunatly i bought the wrong kind. I wanted the kind that actually put the gameplay on the TV. All I can do is listen to music and stuff with mine.
KingdomHeartsFan2100 1 Posted September 4, 2010 I am going to play it how it is supposed to be played. On the psp. But if and when I get those component cables I am playing it on the tv. Or when I get my PS3 I'll play it on that?
heartless101 83 Posted September 4, 2010 I'm just going to play it on the PSP, although if I use it on the TV, then recording walkthroughs will be much more easier for me.
CardCaptorDeadpool 386 Posted September 4, 2010 PSP no better way to experience it. Plus Remote Joy is something unrelated to PS3 I think its a means of recording from your PSP, and the controller thing only works on PSP Go. You mixed it up with Remote Play an entertaining but almost useless feature, it lets you display the PS3 screen on PSP as a for lack of a better word monitor, you cant play PS3 games through it so thats half its worth although you can play PSone games saved to your PS3 that way, I only ever use it if Im cleaning up downstairs and I wanna listen to all my PS3 choons

I'll make sure to change it to Remote Play.
JTD95 1,108 Posted September 4, 2010 I'll play it one the PSP and I'll properly use my PS3 to play the game through that. But I haven't bought a PSP yet so I'm not completely sure how to connect it with my PS3. But I'll properly figure out that when I get a PSP.
King Riku 2,063 Posted September 4, 2010 I'm just gonna play it on the psp untill I start my walkthrough, and then I'll connect it to the tv. But other than that, I'm just playing it on psp.
Orohu 0 Posted September 4, 2010 I've heard that the PSP 3000 can use composite cables (Red/Yellow/White) to output video in games, but I am unable to test this theory, since I have a 2000. The 2000 can output PS1 Classic games using the Composite cables, though. Both can use Component cables (Red/Green/Blue/White/Red), but the PSP 2000's component output doesn't even take up the whole screen in games, and REQUIRES progressive scan. (Again, not so sure about the 3000) I'd just as soon use my PSP itself. I personally have two batteries, so I can play for extended periods of time. But if you really want to play the game on a TV, try getting used Component cables. They're about $8 at Gamestop, if memory serves. Just remember that after you hook up the AV cable, in order for it to output video you need to hold the Backlight button until it turns off and flashes the Connected Display logo. Im sorry it doesn't work that way, you cant play or connect PSP games to or on the PS3. They have a WiFi connection but its not what you think it is. To my knowledge only PSP Go can do something like that where you can use your SIXAXIS Dualshock 3 as the controller of the PSP game on the PSP but I'm not sure you can re-map the buttons
