I'm stuck on the beginning of Disc 4 in FFVIII

IT HAS FOUR DISCS!? O-O

It is a PS1 game

Because they couldn't fit all the data onto 1 disc, they split it into 4. Much like how FFVII was split into 3. These days, such a thing is not a problem. Man, how things have improved.
