They built up the climax and just stopped the film

 

The first 15 minutes of the last one should have been the ending of the second one

 

So stupid to have him in it then kill him off asap that was so dumb

Honestly, The Hobbit should have been one film. Sure, the first two were great, but the last one wasn't as good. One great film would have been better than three okay films.

Looking back the third one was bad

 

I thought they were better than the originals

 

But then i rewatched lotr and almost cried and realized they were better albeit slower

Lotr was slower but better.
