It was a very peaceful day on Pop Star. The sun was shining ever so brightly, the civilians were playing outside. Everything was so perfect...That is until later...

 

 

"One...Two...Three..." A cute little voice was counting with his eyes closed against a tree. A pink, little ball like creature was playing hide and seek with his friends in the forest.

 

"Four...Five...Six...Seven..." Kirby loved playing hide and seek. Especially today. Because if he found all of his friends in this one game, they would make him a huge cake with a strawberry on top.  His favorite.

 

"Eight...Nine....TEN! Poyo! Poyo!" Kirby jumped to turn around with a smile on his face. He looked around. No one was in sight. This was going to be harder than he thought. But nonetheless, this was for cake. With that in mind, Kirby began walking and searching for his friends.

The little puff ball squirmed a little to try and break of this person's grip, but to no avail so far. He muffled, trying to make some kind of sound. He still wanted some cake.

 

Adeline's drop of sweat on her face rolled down a little. "Umm...H-How long are you going to hold him?"  She nervously asked.

If looks could kill, Archie would be dead by now. Another stare by those menacing eyes was enough to drive him into panic, causing him to scream and fall over. But for now, he's alive. It took a will of iron to sit up and dare to look at her again, but when he was able to do so he was dumbstruck. Instead of seeing hateful eyes he saw the puffball hugging Kirby. 

 

After a while he composed himself and quickly formulated an apology to get her attention. "H-Hey! If it's because I spat water on you and got away with it, then I'm sorry." he called with a quivering and fearful voice. "I wouldn't have done it if you didn't just pin me to the ground as if you were trying to murder me for discovering you when i wanted to check if you were okay!" 

 

Maybe if you didn't have "warrior instinct" or whatever leftover hate you stored in your mind, this would've been easier., He mentally grumbled.

 

Archie mentally prayed for his life, worried at what might come next.

Elsa looked at him and said, "Calm down, Archie. She seems like a good one." Then she noticed that Kirby wasn't breathing in the hug the girl puffball was giving him. Elsa tried her best to separate her from Kirby but had no luck.

"You want me to calm down after I saw that the greatest warrior in the galaxy, the one that mercilessly destroyed many planets and killed a lot of monsters, is not only real and almost tried to kill me, but has now turned a complete 180 and is hugging someone, now devoid of all the hate in the world?" Archie replied while pointing a finger towards the puffball. If he wasn't going crazy before, he is now.

 

 

He wouldn't and couldn't understand what was happening, and continued to pray.

As she continued to hug the little Star Warrior, Galacta heard some voices speaking to her.  She didn't really hear what they were saying though, as she was lost in her own world.  But then, someone tried to separate the two.  A dark aura surrounded her and sent the others sprawling back.  Galacta quickly got into a defensive stance and shielded the young one while still holding him tightly.

 

"If you try to hurt us, I'll kill you," she warned them, red eyes flaring.  I hope the don't call my bluff, she thought.  She was still far too weak to fight back, and with her broken wing, she couldn't flee with the other pink puffball.

Elsa stopped herself from going backwards from the blast of the dark aura and held her hands up. "Hey, hey. I'm not gonna hurt you or Kirby. No need to get jumpy. And besides, Kirby is my friend. I wouldn't hurt a cutie like him." She said, wondering if she could still trust this armored puffball.

Seeing the armored puffball go back to her fighting stance with Kirby in tow eased half of Archie's mind, but the other half was even more worried. He also couldn't help but comment at the rapid changes the armored puffball went through.

 

"Theeeere she goes again,back to her old self, out to fight anyone who even touches her!" Archie announced. 

 

How can things change so quickly? he wondered. Archie stood still and switched looks between Elsa and the puffball, anxiously watching the events unfold.

"Mmm! Mmm!" Kirby waved his arms up and down frantically, trying to tell somebody to help him. "Mmm!" Adeline rubbed the back of her head, just as confused at these sudden events. "Umm...My name's Adeline and that's our friend Kirby, the one you're hugging...I think he wants you to let go of him now if you don't mind..."

 

"Mmm!" Kirby exclaimed.

"Yes. Please let him go. You're kinda suffocating him." Elsa said, not wanting the cute puffball to stop breathing or wanting to fight the armored puffball.

The adult human stopped herself from falling over and told Galacta, "Hey, hey. I'm not gonna hurt you or Kirby. No need to get jumpy. And besides, Kirby is my friend. I wouldn't hurt a cutie like him."  The knight hesitated a bit, but then relaxed a little.  Could she trust this woman.  She did heal her after all, but that could've been just so she could make Galacta owe her.  But, she also said she was friends with the little one, Kirby, she now learned.  Or was she really.  Are they really friends, or do they just have him as a slave?

 

Soon she could feel Kirby fidgeting behind her.  "Umm...My name's Adeline and that's our friend Kirby, the one you're hugging...I think he wants you to let go of him now if you don't mind..."  the younger human said sheepishly as she rubbed the back of her head.

 

"Yes. Please let him go. You're kinda suffocating him," the other human said.

 

"Mmm!" Kirby confirmed.

 

"!" Galacta let the other Star Warrior go and pat his head as an apology.  She didn't mean to almost choke him to death.

Kirby took a deep breath after being let go of that very long hug. "Poyo." He blinked and looked at Galacta Knight, who reminded him of Meta Knight. "Poyo?"

Adeline walked over to Kirby and stood next to him. "Let's start over. Who are you and why are you here?" She asked.

Galacta hesitated.  She really just wanted to take Kirby and leave, but she knew that they wouldn't get very far.  Plus, if he really was friends with these people, she didn't want to upset him by making him leave them.

 

She finally relented; Kirby should learn who she is after all.  "...I am Galacta Knight," she introduced herself simply, not bothering to courtesy.  "As for why I am hear, I'm looking for a knight with a mask similar to mine.  Is he here?"

"Galacta Knight. That's a nice name. I'm Elsa S. Jones. Just call me Elsa. And as for who you're talking about, i believe he calls himself Meta Knight." Elsa said, remembering the other one that looked just like her. Well, with a different color scheme and armor change.

Galacta nodded a thanks to Elsa.  "Do you know where he is?"

"I can lead you to him. Follow me." Elsa said, walking to where she remembered seeing him. If i recall correctly, he should be hiding in the bushes..., she thought. But then she started to wonder why Galacta Knight wanted to see him.

Galacta just nodded again and let the human lead her to where the one who defeated her was.

It seemed like Meta Knight had been waiting in the bushes for hours, and now he was starting to grow impatient.  He couldn't even hear the voices of his friends anymore.  Had they forgotten about him?

 

This was probable, which irritated the knight considerably.  He stepped out of the bushes, brushing himself off the best he could, contemplating on whether he should confront Kirby or just head on home when he spotted Galacta Knight and Elsa approaching him.  His eyes widened apprehensively, his thin sword held tightly in his fist as he hovered over to them.

 

"Elsa," Meta Knight's voice rang, deep and assertive.  "What have you brought here?  Do you know who this is?"

"Huh? What are you talking about?" She said, cocking her head in confusion. What's wrong with Galacta Knight? She seems fine. Why are Archie and Meta Knight fearful of her?, she thought, looking at the girl puffball with sincere and trusting eyes.

Archie stood back, away from the others, and saw the 2 knights meet.  He was already thinking of the many outcomes of this "reunion" Meta knight was implying, and was not expecting this to end well. So he decided to leave the group and go to the village he was interested in after the game was finished, plus, he wasn't going to stick around to see the resolution to a meeting that would surely end with disaster.

 

I think It's time to take my leave. The game ended a while ago and I've showed my talking skills. Hopefully I meet them again at some other time. Least I had fun... He thought.

 

Archie turned around and slowly tip-toed away from the group, hoping to make it out unnoticed. his hopes soon vanished when he accidentally stepped on a twig, making a very audible sound of a snap.

 

D'oh! He mentally cursed.

Elsa looked up to see Archie leaving the group and said, "Hey! Where are you going, Archie?"

Archie was desperate. The recent events were eating away at his sanity, and he had no way out. Because of this, he didn't bother trying to cover up his escape with any excuse and instead blurted out his intention.

 

"What do you think, Elsa? Trying to get out of this place, partly to go where I should be right now and partly to not get in the way of those 2! If I had common sense, which I have, I wouldn't want to get caught in the middle of something that will only end terribly! It was fun, but I gotta go!" 

 

He then pulled out another bomb and ran away to the other side of the forest, away from the group.

"Aah!" She yelled, covering her eyes because of the smoke. When it cleared, he was gone. "Dang it! He got away. I don't know why he's running. I see nothing wrong with Galacta Knight." She said, smiling a little at the armored girl puffball

Elsa lead the armored puffball to some bushes.  She had no idea why though; surely the other knight was far too dignified to be in there.  But sure enough, he came out, brushing some loose leaves and twigs off himself.  He immediately spotted them and pulled out his sword.  "Elsa, what have you brought here?  Do you know who this is?" he asked them, his voice deep and assertive.

 

"Huh? What are you talking about?" the human asked, confused.  She turned around to look at Galacta, and the knight was surprised to see that she trusted her.  She's a kind one after all.

 

Soon though, they all heard a twig snap, and turned to see the jester trying to escape.  He knows what's going on.  Smart.  Elsa asked him where he was going, and he explained that he was leaving asap.  He then threw a smoke bomb and vanished from sight.

 

The woman gave a starlted yelp at that, and coughed a bit from the smoke.  "I don't know why he's running. I see nothing wrong with Galacta Knight," she said, and smiled a little at Galacta.  She was very glad for wearing a mask so that they couldn't see her own smile.  Its been so long that anyone's tried to be my friend.  It... feels really nice.

 

"Ms. Elsa, you may want to follow that jester's example and leave.  I do not wish for you to involved with this; you could accidently get caught in the crossfire and die," the amored puffball warned her new friend, while glaring at the blue knight.  Traitor, you will not get away with what you did.

"But i'm not weak, Galacta. Watch this." Elsa said. And soon, her eyes turned purple and she snapped her fingers, summoning her Gaster Blasters. She also summoned a few bones and used her psychokinesis to launch a tree toward somewhere else. The Gaster Blasters growled, ready to fire their lasers at any moving threat. "You see? I may look innocent, but i've had this power ever since my teen years." She said, smiling a bit.

The woman's powers were definitely impressive, but...

 

"This is between me and him.  Please do not get involved," Galacta told Elsa, hoping the human would understand.
