Okay so now the new Epic Medal Carnival deal is out and all of those other offered deals really seem to be encouraging me to go towards spending my 4900-something medals on trying to get those awesome new medals, but I'm still feeling conflicted on whether or not I'm going to spend it on those medals or towards the purchasable avatar boards to get those last few cost upgrades for the Keyblade.

 

So, my question here is the same as before, in your guys' opinion, should I dedicate these jewels towards the new awesome deal(s) while it's around, or should I dedicate them towards unlocking those last few avatar boards while I still have the funds to do so?

I'm stuck in the same situation you're in. I would just save up the jewels to a point where you can afford either one or both.

A painful 160. Barely enough to fit 4 6-stars but the missions these days are kind of calling for 5 6-stars in terms of difficulty so reaching 180 would greatly help make that happen since Cid just refuses to lower cost any more than just 10.

I have 6200 Jewels from the In Purchase I bought these week, a couple more of them and I'll buy more avatar boards and have my cost at 180+!

Well bud, let me tell you a story.

 

You see, when the Reversed Medal deal came up, I desperately wanted a Sephiroth medal!  Alas, I did not get one, and so I wasted quite a numerous amount of jewels! Then the most recent deal came up, and I was able to get Marluxia, whom I had wanted!  And all I was left with were 10 jewels!  Out of like almost 6000 that I had! So yeah...at least I got the Marluxia medal, so that's awesome!  But I never got Sephy! ;_;

 

Personally, I would recommend you finish getting the remaining Keyblade Cost nodes, so that way, you can be able to have a better chance of equipping more Six Star medals into your Keyblade, ya know?  But that's just me!  Just don't get tempted by the medal deals!
