Im not normally a guy who likes to complain but I think it really sucks that square enix charges us money to get special medals & then gives us medals that we can get anyway. I've done the new illustrated cloud pack four times now & each time HALF of the pack that I paid for is pence, olette, selphie, pain, & another medal that you can earn in game. Why the hell would they think anyone wants to spend money on crap medals they can get for free. Honestly I would be fine if I wasn't getting the cloud medal if i was still at least getting mostly medals I can't normally earn but this is maddening. I apologize if there was a topic about this made already & thank you to anyone who actually read this rant of mine, i just needed to vent

I agree. I never got any of the medals that were showcased, and I literally wasted all of my jewels on medals that aren't worth it.

Don't spend loads of money in Unchained Chi, it's seriously not worth it especially if you're fishing for medals you want. The only worthwhile investment is the weekly VIP, you'll get your 3,000 jewels enough to buy whatever the weekly deal is, and access to all the special quests. Otherwise don't put a dime in the game.

Wow, you'd think they'd keep droppable medals out of the draws, or at least out of the 10-medal one. Relying on RNG is one thing, but this is actually bad.

... Oh wait I've actually pulled Rikku and Stitch (Stitch was annoying because I already farmed enough to guilt one, and game's like ohey here's one more)

I'm saying this right now. The whole metal shop is a money grabber. Do you know why the shop has ridiculously high prices? it's because of that. I honestly think that they don't care if you get the metal you want or not. They just want the money

It's Square Enix's way of getting into your wallet. They could care less about what medals you get, even if it's nothing but bad medals. This is a method often used, they advertise the best stuff, but the chances are that you won't get them. Really, if you think about it, it's sorta like false advertising, but at the same time, it's not. Remember this at least; when they say "Spend (# of jewels) for a chance to win a (specific medal)!" remember the key word in that statement, "chance". They use this word as an excuse to make the chances of winning the featured medal slim.

You know what would be better, if it there was a cheaper or more effective way to get jewels. Like more daily jewels, and more jewels from events.

The whole jewel draw thing feels a lot like gambling to me...
