Please happen, I'd like to play this game at 60 fps. Final Fantasy characters are already PC approved since that franchise has had huge success on steam. Mods would probably be prohibited since Disney are strict with their properties, but PC is very profitable

PC is currently the highest selling platform, so it's a huge cash grab for Disney. There are a lot of JRPGS on steam that have had good success like Tales of Zestiria. KH3 is also being developed with Direct X11 which makes it perfect for PC.

However a PC port wouldn't release for at least 6-9 months after the console release. KH3 on an XBone shows that they don't mind the game being multiplatform.

For a game that looks as graphically impressive as KH3 I don't think a PS4 and an Xbox One will do it justice. I definitely want a PC port.

Thoughts?

PC gaming is more expensive? lol, not really. I bought parts for a PC that totalled around $300 (100 dollars cheaper than a PS4 or Xbox One at launch) and it ran most games at around 30 FPS. You just need to know what you're buying and what it's compatible with, instead of just saying "oh, hey, this CPU is 500 dollars, so my PC's good now."If you use Steam, there are sales on even AAA games very often so a game that's normally $60 may be $40 on sale or even $30 (it's happened). Even if Steam prices are too expensive for you, there are also other online digital marketplaces for games such as G2A (although it may not be as trustworthy as Steam).Yes, DDD ran at 60 FPS on the PS4 but it was also originally on the 3DS, a handheld with various limitations that made it impossible to be 60 FPS (hence the sudden FPS drops when facing a horde of enemies). Because the PS4 is a console with proper parts that can handle those graphics and much more, it was likely hardly a challenge to upgrade the game to 60 FPS.

However, Kingdom Hearts III from what we've seen so far is a very graphically intensive game with environmental effects, much more refined models and graphics, and much more going on behind the scenes. While, from what we've seen so far, it's not as intensive a game as FFXV, it won't be nearly as easy to bump to 60 FPS as DDD on PS4 was. I can see it being 30 FPS no problem at this point, but anything above that could be trouble at this rate.

100% agreed, oh and use Kinguin xD. It's cheaper than steam https://www.kinguin.net/

xD $30? $20? More like Witcher I was $2.99 and Naruto storm 3 was $6.99!

What other platform has 85% off sales?

Even moreso, which has over 50% off games that are only two years old?

Guys let's stay on topic and civil towards each other when discussing. Had to edit and delete some posts. Thanks!

It will most likely stay on PS4 and Xbox One. The only chances of it coming to PC is if the PC community complains enough to Square Enix where then they'll port it later down the line

I think if FFXV sells well on PC, they will port the KH Games to PC, as well.

two different fanbases. There hasn't been a KH game on PC yet so Square doesn't know the reception it might get if they ported KH3 to PC. With FF, they've already released multiple titles including the entire XIII series, type-0 HD, FFXHD, and 7-9. Most sold really well on PC so square knows the XV PC version will sell well too based on earlier trends

There have been emulators that allow PC Gamers to play KH games which should mean there is a good install base on it, It is also cheaper to sell games on PC than it is on the PS4/XBOXONE, and it's an easy port due to it being unreal 4.

In fact one could argue a PC Port would actually sell better than the Xbox version due to the fact that every Kingdom Hearts game can be played on the PC, thus PC Gamers will have prior knowledge of the series. If the port is a good port, then the word will spread getting other people to buy the game, and they will know what is going on.

I should also add the cost, it could take 12 skilled guys to port Kingdom Hearts 3 to the PC, if they were given enough time.

I would also argue that people would also be familar with KH due to the fact that their are a pletora of Disney games, and Final Fantasy games on Steam, so the interest is there, they just need to capitalize on it.

I actually want it to come to PC since my rig is really high-end (6700k, GTX 1080) so i would have no problems maxing it out. Still the chances of it happening are slim

Same could have been said for the game coming to Xbox One, yet here we are, if the game was a PS4 exclusive I would agree with you, but I would say the chances are pretty high considering it's coming out a console that hasn't had any of the games prior. Where as the PC people have played those games through emulation making them familar with the series as a whole.
