What if Roxas had the memory-altering powers and was kept prisoner at Castle Oblivion, while Namine was the thirteenth member of Organisation XIII instead?

 

Roxas would instead named Arashi* perhaps? (* Japanese for 'storm')

Xion could be male and maybe renamed to Xino or Oxin or Onix.
And Namine would either have any of these names below:

Ehhhh interesting fan fic material I guess, but nothing I would really feel like dwelling on. Honestly I thought you were going to focus on their roles more as opposed to just what their names might be.

Chain of Memories would be awkward since Sora is essentially pursuing himself:

• The fights with the Replica would be over protecting "himself."
• Sora ditches Donald and Goofy for "himself."
• Sora saves "himself" from the Organization.
• Sora makes a promise with "himself."
• Sora forgets "himself."

I know there is fan fiction for this and Roxas is technically his own person but it makes Sora/Roxas come off as I don't know narcissistic in a weird way...

 

On the bright side Namine is a Dual-Wielder and has a kick ass boss fight. She also killed Xion...

 

It was less weird with Namine because even though she is technically like part Sora as well she was Kairi's Nobody.

Really? Huh. Usually I prefer XionxNamine, XionxKairi, or AquaxMerida, but that could work too, I guess.

I was thinking about both their roles and what their names might be instead. I was just leaving it to people to fill their own blanks and make up ideas for the outcome or something like that.

Yes, I know that those words are used within the series itself, but think about it!  In your case, you literally are describing how it would be if Roxas and Namine switched roles, therefore this means that it's another side, another story, cuz it all changes, ya know?
