You know, I think that it's been far too long for Nintendo to keep the NX a secret. ANd I say that because I honestly think that they should have showed it off at this years E3 event like they said they would. But nope, they decided that instead of taking advantage of the audience attending and watching E3 online they thought it would be good to show it off on their own event. Now I am aware that E3 is somewhat slowly dying as the years go by since game companies are now starting to unveil their new consoles in their own events.. But I honestly think Nintendo should have just used E3to at least show us what the console looks like and than have a Nintendo Direct that focuses solely on what the NX is, what new features it has, and what games will be made for it both for launch titles and for its overall library. I love Nintendo but I think this was a missed opportunity to get a good audience that might want to know more about the NX and possibly buy it when it comes out. Look, it's fine to have your own conferences for things like this but the lack of advertising for your consoles is pretty bad. As far as I see it, Nintendo's making the same mistake like they did with the Wii U where they don't explain to their audience well enough about what the system is and why it's something that's worth the upgrade from your previous console that they try to sell to people. With this long wait I hope they do what Square Enix is doing with Final Fantasy XV and give us a ton...and I mean TON of advertisement for the system with how long they are having us wait for any news on their new system. I hope they finally show it to us at least next month or in October.
