So I went to my local FYE store to get a pokemon shirt and some pokey. (do not judge me!)

I went to the register to pay and noticed that they updated the sign for their upcoming games. 

I went into a complete berserk mode when I saw KH up there. I think I scared the sale associate a bit.

She said that the manager made the changes and could not give any more info. But I am still out of it right now.

Does it say 12/16 or 12/6? It looks like 12/16 to me. But that is a Friday.

And it will also be on Xbox, even though it was confirmed as PS Exclusive?

I got nothing against Xbox Players. I am glad that more will get into the series.

Yea, definitely December 2016 since that was already confirmed by Square-Enix back during E3 2016. However with the Xbox part, FYE is maybe assuming that it's Kingdom Hearts III and not 2.8 since all they wrote was "Kingdom Hearts" or not realizing that 2.8 is an PS exclusive.

OOH, A POSSIBLE RELEASE DATE!?  DECEMBER 16!?  THAT SOUNDS PERFECT!!!!  BRING IT ON, NOMURA!

Yeah, I agree! The more KH fans we gain, the better!  And yes, I'm sure we'll find out more info on 2.8 soon!

December 6th is a Tuesday while December 16th is a Friday, So it is possible that it is the 6th which would be great but that's also the same day as South Park and Dead Rising 4. I do find it weird that they have Dead Rising 4 coming out on December 16th when it's coming out on the 6th world wide so I don't understand why they would put it for ten days later.  I would take this with a grain of salt I have a feeling we will find out in around 3 weeks at TGS when the release date for 2.8 is

It would have to be a date because the other games have an actual date. Plus, that would be a weird format to use (at least to me).

NBA2k17 is set to release on September 20th world wide yet up there only lists as 9/16 as opposed to 9/20, same with Dead Rising, set to release December 6th yet is listed as 12/16 instead of 12/6, so you cannot assume it is the day of based off other games, because not all of them are like that.

Well it sounds like it's something that get's updated whenever because if NBA is releasing next month and it has the wrong date still, I think it would get update whenever they get around to it. (I don't believe this btw)

Def looks to be a mistake,far to late to announce with 4 months left to release.

 

Doesn't make much sense to announce an xbox version well after events like e3 and gamescon,where it could have actually been promoted alongside the ps4 version.

 

This could also be Kh3 since most retailers have it as a dec/2016 placeholder release since this person only wrote KH.

I agree. The date is believable, but the console availability is probably mistaken for KH3.

Honestly I hope this game comes out on not just Xbox One, but I would surely love to play it at 4K/60FPS or 1440p at a higher framerate on the PC. 

 

At least Kingdom Hearts 0.2, at least 0.2, if it's not the KH3D HD version
