To play as ventus first and then switch to terra or aqua? I personally felt like I was going way to slow and actually thought the game was lagging when I played as Terra for the first time (I beat Ven's story about 15 minutes ago on proud, yay!).

 

I guess it's reversed when people play as terra or aqua firrst and when they get to ven they feel like they are attacking too fast.

 

Am I the only one that feels the transition or does everyone else feel it?

I did VTA and i thought the same thing, but found out aqua is the best in the end.

I did Terra, Ven, Aqua. Aqua feels weird because of the magic. But Terra is very slow compared to Ven and Aqua!

Its recommended but you don't have to play in that order. Plus, IMO Ven is more important to the series as a whole, I could say why but I'm too lazy to use the spoiler tags right now.

 

The people who decided to read up on the story before they bought the game usually just play as whoever they feel like first as they already know the story and can easily figure out the plot holes the resulted from jumping around.

Anyway, I played Terra first and loved playing as him...the only thing that felt "weird" was having his story end so quickly, I was starting to really bond with him and all of a sudden it's over. ;w; So I had a bit of a hard time transitioning to Ventus; I'm in NeverLand right now and the only real issue I have with Ven is how weak his attacks are...but that's just because I played as Terra first, so I'm more used to his stronger attacks. And when going back to my Terra file...I feel no difference in speed whatsoever, he still doesn't feel slow to me, he feels just as fast as Ven. Now just gotta wait to play Aqua~

How is that mean? Out of the three of them Ven was probably more important, he is one of the components for the ultimate weapon of mass destruction and looks strangely like roxas due to things that I will left unsaid for those who want to find out on their own. I never said he was what held the series together, but he plays a much bigger role than Terra or Aqua.

 

By speed I mean the speed of the attacks. But yeah Ven's attacks are pretty weak, you have to spend a bit of time leveling up in order to effectively fight some of the other bosses. Maybe I'm not used to Terra yet but he feels pretty slow IMO.

Out of all the characters Ven is my favourite and then Aqua. Terras story felt kinda slow, to me anyways.

Terra, Ventus and then Aqua is the best order and is recommended by even the creator of the KH Series.

Nope. I adjusted according to their style. Terra seems to be getting hit a lot by the Bruisers.

TVA is only recommended in story wise. Terra is supposedly the easiest because of his physical strength and Aqua's last is because of the bosses coming in your way.

No one is more important than another. All three friends had done something important that foreshadows KH3.

LOL, so this is what happend.

I started playing in Terras mode, but i got to Eqacus, then i couldnt kill him.

so i started ven and he mass lvled at the castle of dreams.

then i mass lvled aqua at castle of dreams too.

so VA are pro, Terra is not x3

I did AVT I think it was a fantastic experience storywise

i liked terra the most. i liked him, his va, his story and fighting style. i felt that ven got better as the story went on but i felt he was a bit to childish at first. personally i like roxas more. i also didnt find terra to be slow or ven to be all that fast. tho i love vens fever pitch command style and find him to be insanely fast when using it. i dont like aquas va or how weak her defense is (might just be my aqua). i do like her spell weaver command style and shes okay at fighting. ive never been to good with magic users tho. overall tho i like almost everything about terra and his story.
