Today, Square Enix have published a piece of information explaining a non-progression glitch in Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance]. It seems that this glitch can cause you to get stuck and not be able to progress through the game, however, a work around is said to be available using the second save slot. sqexgal's translation of the glitch description is below.

There is a glitch when you play as Riku in a certain part of the World That Never Was. If you drop as Riku in a certain spot where stairs appear but before you can go up them, when you return you will be locked out and unable to progress, thus the warning.

Of course, this seems to be a very specific and rare glitch, and it will surely be fixed in the localized version of the game. However, it is still interesting to hear about!

this is different from the fantasia drop glitch, aint it?

oh boy....hope these are fixed before the localizations kick in...

    well it is only on the first slot and it is a really rare case as well, so still just to be safe then sorry im not gonna drop when Im in The World That Never Was lol, but im sure they will have it fixed by the time it is out here

    i have to say all these years there was one thing that square enix always brough to their products and that was quality and games with no bugs,final fantasy in the ps1/ps2 era didnt have bugs and sqaure enix gave their full attention to their games,its a shame that nowdays they release a game that has a glitch which can prevent you from continuing the game,i understand that this glitch may occur rarely but still this is something that you wouldnt expect from a square enix product:)

    Whenever a glitch like this comes up, I actually start to appreciate the fact that we have to wait longer since it'll most likely be fixed in the localized version. ^_^
