During today's Nintendo Direct, Square Enix announced that the Kingdom Hearts games are all coming to Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on October 8, 2026.
Owners of the cloud editions on Nintendo Switch can port their save file over to the Nintendo Switch 2 version, and in addition, a bundle called the Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III], which contains all the games, will also go on sale at the same time.
[Update 10/6/2026]: Square Enix has announced that the cloud versions of the Kingdom Hearts games have now been delisted from Nintendo eShop. Players who own those titles can play them until June 9, 2027, and are eligible for a special discount when purchasing the collection. Furthermore, Nintendo Switch players can still purchase both Kingdom Hearts -HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX- and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue as native ports, rather than cloud versions.
Lastly, a demo version of Kingdom Hearts III Re:Mind has just released on Nintendo eShop.
