Update December 11: We have compiled interpretations of the English lyrics and the translations of the Japanese lyrics, which you can read below.
English:
breath... should i take a deep...?
faith... should i take a leap...
taste... what a bittersweet...
all my, all my life.
let me face, let me face, let me face my fears
let me face, let me face, let me face my fears
won't be long, won't be long, i'm almost here
watch me cry all my tears.
Japanese:
Hey, exactly how much
Hey, can I smile?
I want to tell you something
Despite all this
let me face, let me face, let me face my fears
let me face, let me face, let me face my fears
I don't need you to say that my map is useless
I'll run my own path.
An extra line in the Japanese version can be heard on Utada Hikaru's website, where she seems to sing: "Hey, ever since I was born..."
Thanks to aitaikimochi for the translation for the lyrics and KH13's Solis for the extra line's translation!
