Square Enix Japan Offering Exchanges for Defective Kingdom Hearts III Alba & Ater Chess Set Pieces

Japanese fans have begun receiving their Kingdom Hearts III Alba & Ater Chess Sets via the Square Enix E-store. However, several purchasers have noted how many of the pieces are defective, which eventually caused Square Enix Japan to respond with the following statement:

Quote

"We have received multiple reports about defective pieces of the Kingdom Hearts Chess Set. We urge all affected customers to get in touch with us through the Support Center so that the exchange of the defective pieces can be performed."

Customers affected by this unfortunate circumstance can contact the Support Center to remedy these faults.

There is currently no word on whether the North American and European shipments will offer similar services. As of now, the Chess Set is planned to ship from those regions in October 2022 and on November 18th, 2022, respectively.

I'm lucky that I couldn't even buy this, already had to close my bank account because of some scammer.
