In the latest issue of Famitsu Weekly, Tetsuya Nomura, the director of the Kingdom Hearts series has confirmed Kingdom Hearts III will be featured at D23 Expo 2015 on November 6. Nomura says that they "have some interesting things planned", he added there will be "Kingdom Hearts III news, and various things".

The latest issue of Famitsu Weekly magazine has included an interview with Tetsuya Nomura, director of the Kingdom Hearts series. While the interview focuses on other Square Enix projects, mostly Dissidia Final Fantasy, Nomura has mentioned that the Kingdom Hearts series will be expanding to smartphones and he has more announcements coming soon. In addition development is progressing well for Kingdom Hearts III and they will be able to reveal more soon. The Kingdom Hearts series has ranked an impressive 30th in the 2015 Classic FM Hall of Fame, a jump of 147 places from last year. The Classic FM Hall of Fame is an annual compilation of the 300 most popular classical works as polled by listeners of Classic FM. Classic FM is one of the United Kingdom's three Independent National Radio stations. Congratulations to Yoko Shimomura, the composer of the Kingdom Hearts series and Square Enix who also had the Final Fantasy series rank at 9th.

The Kingdom Hearts Tribute album which includes new arrangements of 10 songs from the Kingdom Hearts series, is now available in Japan for 2,160 Yen (approx. U.S $18.26).
