After the first volume released in 2007, it has been a long journey to the final volume of the Kingdom Hearts II manga. Shiro Amano, the creator of the Kingdom Hearts manga series took a break after volume 5 and adapted Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days in it's entirety. Amano later returned to Kingdom Hearts II after 358/2 Days' completion. Today the 10th and final volume finally premiered in Shonen Gangan via it's June 2015 issue. Amano took to Twitter to celebrate, you can read his tweet translated into English below thanks to goldpanner. Square Enix Germany's official Facebook page is teasing something Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] related. Square Enix North America released the Tokyo Game Show 2013 trailer to press but this is the first time Square Enix has posted something Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] related outside of Japan to the public. Square Enix Europe is known for teasing stuff this time of year, last year Square Enix France teased international releases for Final Fantasy Agito and Final Fantasy Type-0. E3 2015 is only a month away and Square Enix is holding a press conference, could we see an international release of Kingdom Hearts χ[chi]? We speculate they might port it to iOS & Android. Update 2: Interestingly, the Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] teaser by Square Enix Germany is using a screenshot we took for an article last week. You can view the screenshot here. AMD, the second-largest global supplier of microprocessors will be presenting a PC Gaming Show at E3 2015 on Tuesday, June 16th between 5PM and 8PM at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles, California. The official website for this show has confirmed Square Enix as a participant. While this is more likely focused on Square Enix's large catalogue of AAA western titles such as Rise of the Tomb Raider, Just Cause 3, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and Hitman 6 coming out in the next year or so, there is a chance it could feature titles from Square Enix's Japanese studios as Square Enix has been very active in porting Final Fantasy titles to Windows PC/Steam in the past year ranging from blockbuster titles like Final Fantasy XIII to mobile titles like Final Fantasy IV. There is a good chance Kingdom Hearts III will at some stage be released on Windows PC/Steam maybe even Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 & 2.5 ReMIX. We've found an Al Engineer that has been working on Kingdom Hearts III since October 2014. Eric Johnson, now living in Tokyo, Japan has an impressive resume to his name. He summarizes himself as a "Software engineer with 6+ years of industry experience in gameplay systems, localization, tools, and artificial intelligence." on his LinkedIn profile. Before Kingdom Hearts III he worked on worked on KIXEYE's War Commander as a Senior AI Engineer between July 2013 and August 2014. Before that he worked as an AI Engineer on Star Wars 1313, the final game in development at LucasArts when George Lucas sold his company to Disney. During this time he lived in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has also worked on other video game titles including Turbine's Infinite Crisis along with CCP on EVE Online and World of Darkness. He graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in May 2008 with his Master of Science, Computer Science; specialization in Artificial Intelligence. An India-based artist named Praveen Dubey has listed Character Modelling & Texturing for Kingdom Hearts III on their resume. Praveen Dubey works for Lakshya Digital, an India-based company that specializes in outsourced asset development. It is likely, Lakshya Digital has been contracted by Square Enix to develop some assets for Kingdom Hearts III. Praveen Dubey and Lakshya Digital have recently worked on a few major titles including Dark Souls 2 and Tekken ­7. Outsourcing is completely normal for Square Enix as their other new console titles have all been at least partly outsourced after they experienced development issues with Final Fantasy XIII. It's also a great change of pace after both Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX & Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX were fully developed by the Kingdom Hearts team only.
