  1. It's about the pacing.
  2. Amazing game! Of course. FFX, FFX-2, FFXII: RW, FFXIII, FFXIII-2 & LR. When combined they have sold about 30 million copies.
  3. And is that a problem? I'm sure a lot of KH fans are kids too.
  4. That can be taken however you want. "Mass Effect and Fallout allow the players to play with more freedom, and within their story-lines it is quite successful. But we’re more interested in things such as first person shooters like Call of Duty. They give a better sense of tension on the battlefield. We some times draw inspiration from those sorts of games. It’s not just RPGs but FPS titles that get us excited." - Toriyama http://www.techdigest.tv/2010/02/final_fantasy_x_1.html
  5. They clearly said in regards to western games that influenced them "FPSs mostly" and then added CoD. I never said they did say that. Lol. Hardly.
  6. Where are you getting the "lightly" from? An example of First-Person-Shooter. Kitase's well known for loving FPS. They also mentioned CoD in various other interviews. They mentioned in other interviews being much more interested in the pacing of a first-person shooter than a regular RPG.
  7. Lol. http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2010/02/08/an-interview-with-final-fantasy-xiiis-kitase-and-toriyama/
  8. Final Fantasy XIII was inspired by Call of Duty. Toriyama & Kitase like CoD. Lol.
  9. Haha. You should know he didn't write the sequels. Lazy? That's how he put out XIII-2 in 18 months, a game you quite like I might add. Bahahha. Please, it seems Nomura likes her just as much. Called her perfect when promoting her modelling and now Lightning herself is teasing she'll be in VII Remake. He also said she's one of his 3 fav heroines. Very high chance she'll appear in KH3 as well. I should also add Visual Works still has a massive Lightning poster up.
  10. A YouTube user was kind enough to record the credits for the iOS version of Final Fantasy VII and the new, 2016 version of Final Fantasy IX for iOS, Android & PC.
  11. LIGHTNING RETURNS: FINAL FANTASY XIII is now 2 years old in Australia! My most anticipated video game release ever.
  12. Final Fantasy XIII was built on the foundations and ideas of VII and X. In other words: Best graphics, complex scenario, great soundtrack. It's also the same team. They achieved everything they wanted to with this game and more. Final Fantasy XIII received critical acclaim and has gone on to sell over 7.1 million copies before iOS & Android sales along with PS Now money. The sequels received further critical acclaim including a perfect score from Famitsu and sold millions. Please look forward to Motomu Toriyama's new project later this year.
  13. You aren't well placed to give an opinion then.
  14. Of course, same internal studio. Not really. The 3DS ones haven't sold amazing, a franchise that sells a million copies on average might not sell any better.
  15. A lot of them are also critically acclaimed. If you don't like them that's fine, no reason to go hating on them though.
  16. Ummm, do you play it? Lol.
  17. Square Enix has revealed Theatrhythm Final Fantasy All-Star Carnival for arcades in Japan. indieszero, the developers of all 3 Theatrhythm games on Nintendo 3DS are also developing this one while Ichiro Hazama is of course serving as producer. More details available next weekend. This does however make a Theatrhythm Kingdom Hearts unlikely.
  18. The Call of Duty franchise has now surpassed 250 million units sold life-to-date worldwide. Call of Duty was the #1 franchise in North America for the seventh year in a row. Monthly active users for the franchise up 20%. Call of Duty: BO3, had the biggest entertainment opening weekend of 2015, and was the #1 console game globally for the calendar year. Source
  19. If that's all we have to worry about we're pretty much fine. Nintendo and Xbox have much bigger things to worry about.
  20. KH1 wasn't developed for the PS2 because it was the only competitive console at the time. It was developed for PS2 because Square had an exclusivity contract with Sony. There's no excuses for 2.8 to not be on Xbox One however.
