  1. oh my god. that is probably the best use of the AR card system I've ever seen.
  2. I can relate to this, though I go by multiples of 5s.

    No problem
  4. The people I work with are dumb and their faces are dumb.
  5. What's the difference from being sexist and nice anymore? To me, it seems that 'nice' has become a grey area depending from person to person. I hold the door for women, and elderly people. I will give up my seat on a bus for a pregnant woman, or an elderly person. /That's how I was raised./ To give respect toward women for who they are, and the same goes for, once again, elderly people. Now, those two groups are not the same in my mind, but they are to be respected just the same. The only thing I expect from doing anything for anybody is a simple 'Thank you' from that person. If I hold the door open for a woman, it is not an attempt to get into her pants, or anything related to that. I'll go "Here ya go" and smile as I hold the door and whether or not I get the thank you, I go on my way. Of course I'm a little bummed for not getting the verbal gratitude if I don't, but whatever. A nice gesture should be met with a sign of gratitude, whether it's lending someone money, or holding the door for them. That's all gestures like that are to me. /Nice gestures./ Not as a sign of inequality because I'm a big, strong man holding the door for a weak, insignificant female. I know how it is to have someone not hold the door for me and I know how inconsiderate I felt that person was. I dunno how to put the rest of how I feel about this issue, but I've seen examples of things like this, and this is the opinions thread, so here;s mine. That's how I feel, and I feel like I can't be nice to anyone without being called some sort of extreme name over a simple nice gesture. People these days are too self-conscience that someone is out to screw them, take advantage of them. And it really mucks it up for the decent human beings who are just trying to be nice. (This was not the intention, but I'm just waiting for a flame war over this.)
  6. I'll let you figure it out ;D
  7. Well, at least I still have a burrito in my pocket.
  8. Dropping by to welcome you to the site! Hope you enjoy it here.
  9. Bitch, don't kill my vibe.
  10. One of my favorites that I can think of off the top of my head is a game breaking glitch from Final Fantasy IV (the SNES version). If you go up and down floors in a building/castle/dwelling 64 times, on the 65th time, you'll be transported to a random spot on the world map, and it can cause you to be stuck on wall tiles, immobilizing you and halting your progress. If you're careful about how you do it though, you can use it to skip a very large chunk of the game and even beat it with characters who are not meant to be in your party at that point regularly.
  11. Unfortunately, that link does not work. Personally, it takes me to a mobile version of my news feed. Try going on your profile and copy the link there.

  18. Looks like I better step up my samurai skills then.
  19. In other news, I just sliced a guy into 601 parts. 'Cause, you know, 600 is just too few.

    I'm quite jealous :c
  21. I normally don't post threads like these, but this actually hits me personally. So, on to the context of this. Dan Coglan, also known as Samurai Dan, has had a dream of becoming a published author, and some time ago, he finally got word from a company that would help him achieve his dream. Well, long story short, him and his wife unfortunately became victims of a scam by said company. As a result, this setback has plunged them into debt. And now Dan is having to do something he would rather not do. Dan is a good friend of mine. I was a student of his and he is one of the people I respect most in the world. His wife, Jillian is a riot and a very nice lady. Their son is wonderful as well. Anyway, I'm only posting this for the people here to get word out, in case anyone has gone to an anime convention that has hosted these wonderful people. I will post their Indigogo campaign at the bottom for people to copy and paste on Facebook to share and spread the word so they may be able to keep their lives as instructors and entertainers. If, and only if, anyone could help them out, there are donation incentives as well. These good people do not deserve what has happened to them, and hopefully they can make it out safely. Support Samurai Dan: http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/support-samurai-dan-jillian Update, Even Johnny Yong Bosch has called for their support, so that's pretty cool.
