  6. okay but uh most black people don't get mad. everyone EXCEPT black people get mad about using "Black". Using AFRICAN AMERICAN is MORE offensive because NOT ALL black people are or consider themselves African American. Ugh I get you. I'm not black but I have noticed that most black people don't mind being called black?? The people who make offensive are nonblack people from what I've seen. People need to listen to the people in question about whether something is offensive or not instead of everyone else. It's not up to white people/asian/latin@/etc to determine what's offensive to black people.
  7. tbh the problem with yaoi isnt how "overdone" it is, its about how fetishizing and problematic it is portrayed also super unpopular opinion all of the kh characters are queer like all of them super queer yes
  8. well obviously but when such opinion is worded in ways like "YAOI IS SO DISGUSTING KILL ME" "WOW STOP WITH THE YAOI SHIPS NONE OF THE CHARACTERS ARE GAY" "YAOI RUINS EVERYTHING" etc, it comes off as VERY homophobic and has underlying tones of homophobia.

  19. after posting something in the painful pasts thread, i think we needed a more positive counter part. while it is good to expel your demons it is also good to acknowledge the good you have done, the battles you have won, and the hardships you have conquered. so this thread is to remember how far you have come DESPITE your past whether your victory is not cutting for a month or simply going outside, post it! anything you feel that is an accomplishment belongs in this thread. as of today, i have continued living despite wanting to quit several times in my lifetime. as of today i havent self harmed in a month. as of today i continue battling my ED and i still do not intend to lose. as well, i have succeeded in maintaining a 3.9 GPA despite the stress and pressure and managed to be ranked 33rd in my class. i have received the highest score possible in a state art competition despite my negative feelings towards my art. edit; i have kept a stable relationship with someone i truly care about for 2 years and i dont intend it to end anytime soon
  20. by your definition i'm flexitarian, but the correct term is pollotarian i believe! flexitarians dont USUALLY eat meat but eat it on occasions. pollotarians just eat white meat. i havent eaten red meat for about a year and i tried to going to vegetarian but it was difficult due to where i live.
  21. i had an okay day out with old friends. except then they left and i started freaking out about the future.
  22. Okay but you guys realize that the exact opposite firetrucking happens ALL THE TIME. Queer people are brutally beaten all the time, by family, by strangers, by religious fanatics. I'm not condoning this action at all, it's wrong and no one should hurt ANYONE. But the fact still stands that the queer community suffers from a lot of violence and violent hate crimes and a LGBT* Pride Parade is their SAFE ZONE. They do not want to be reminded or even want to deal with the people that constantly give other reasons to harass and attack them. They're going to be angry when people who are telling them they're going to Hell invade their safe zone. You'd be mad too if a devil worshipper went into a church and spoke of the devil. Heavens know some Christians would be firetrucking furious and want to beat the shit out of them, Just as the church is a haven for people who follow religion, these parades are a sort of haven for the queer community and NEITHER should be invaded by people who are there to make them uncomfortable and unsafe. You can't expect peace from a movement when people of that movement are constantly harassed and attacked and fear being harassed and attacked. That treatment doesn't breed the want of peace within people, that makes people afraid and ready to defend themselves. Don't expect peace when a community has thousands of people killed simply for being queer. You can't expect peace from people who live in fear and abuse. But whatever. I can't wait for people to make this into such a big deal but completely ignore the hundreds of queer people that are homeless, beaten, harassed, and killed on a daily basis.
  23. @firerubies tbh it all depends on what you eat too and your skin care habits water is awesome for flushing out the gross stuff in your body and skin that causes acne but you also need to clean it (gently) and not dry it out.
  24. ok but what if riku is one of those awkward sweaty dudes and then roxas just bleeds a lot. like all the time. fricken nerds.
