A rivaling force that perhaps is working against Lightning and possibly Bhunivelze (the prominent god in the game who gave lightning the task I believe????) that purposely created Lumina to resemble Lighting???? Although Lumina herself might not truly be "evil" throughout the game she could possibly be a pawn created by the force that still seeks the world's destruction????

Each and every person has different opinions, to each his own! Every single Final Fantasy game can have bits and pieces picked from them that can pose as an argument that can make them look like the worst game in the series, but they also have good points that can make any of them be considered the best game as well.
