Well, we can't expect things to go on without change, the "new generation" is actually just the creation of the older, things change and we can do nothing but accept it. I hear phrases such as "The last generation was way better because..." or "In my time things were better..." but what is it worth living in a past that will never come back? And come on, I hate it when I hear people about my age saying "I can't believe this new generation...." since we are the new generation, can't anyone see? We created things like this and we can change it. I found another Brazilian here!!!!!!!!! Lu Xun, I agree with you on the funk matter, but then again, I'm a Hard Rock lover, and I can't seem I'm really keen on musics from the 80s either. And I read soemthing about this generation having no creativity, come on, do you think that some 80 year old people are the ones who registered in Deviant Art or in many other sites that incentivate activities involving creativity? (take roleplaying for one, I've found at least 50 sites just in my language). I say we have creativity yes, however, most don't use it out of the internet. From my point of view each generation has its flaws and its good points, I haven't heard of a perfect time/generation yet and don't believe I will.

A few recent works by me, took about a 1:30 on each one (cause I'm a bit too slow) I was just wondering what other people would think of them. (Anyone can use these, aside from the one I'm currently using, they were just for test so I have nothing else to do with them).

From what I see you're getting better, however, you still have a lot to learn. At first I'd just give you a tip, try to work with smaller sizes, it's easier to create backgrounds for a 450x180 px image (you won't have much space to fill) than for a 600x200 image (Idk which size you're using, I'm just guessing). Second, try to work on your blending, when I look at your sigs I have the feelig you just cropped the stock and put it on an unrelated bg, that can also be arranged. Whenever you use effects try and make the stock clear to see, it eventually may have its colors changed or some forms altered (you can smudge the edges to blend it with the bg, but never in a way that we can barely see it, actually, it depends on what effect you're working on, but I'm just basing this analysis on your works so far). Keep up the good work! You can be great if you continue trying.

I did this sketch for a contest on a D.Gray Man fanclub on DA, the theme was cross over so I drew Yoruichi from Bleach on the left and Cross Marian from D.G.M. on the right, I still have to solve a few things and clean the sketch but how does it look for now?

This is the introduction of my novel, I'm writing as one of my characters, he refers to himself as D.A.R.E. even though that's not his real name, I guess I shouldn't really explain what this means until I post the first chapter. Also, D.A.R.E. is an abreviation, if you can guess what it means you can learn a little bit about the character. (Btw, the character who I was "playing" is completly insane, you're not supposed to understand what he's saying ^^).

Introducion - D.A.R.E. What is life? In our reality people think of life as a right, something they have and no one can take. We are living beings, what means we breath, move, rest and consume energy daily. But we are also humans, what means we feel and think as well, unlike other creatures that live with us. For me life is like a book, a novel, a plot created by an author. No matter how much we struggles, how much we wish we’ll always be at the mercy of the author’s will. “Why?” You may be asking. If I was right and you really asked that, I am sorry but I have to say you’ve got quite the narrow mind my dear friend. We, simple humans, are the characters in this plot, when we think of it we see ourselves as the most important thing ever, we are essential, important and useful, but looking further into the subject, we are just pieces of trash kept as mere objects, puppets of the author’s ideas, useless and stupid he can get rid of us whenever he wants and for any reason. No matter if I say I don’t want to be a part of this novel I will be. The Author controls our destiny, decides whether w live or die, suffer or succeed, He chooses our every thought, every single move of your body is His idea. We don’t know who The Author is, some say He is God, others say He is the power of nature, and others say He doesn’t exist. Maybe only the first, the second or the third are right, maybe all of them are, or, who knows, neither one is. We may never know the truth. I am tired of being a simple toy, I want to be The Author, to play with people’s lives as though they were my puppets, to rule over death, to be the ultimate power in this world, but if I did I would be agreeing with what The Author imposes, I would be accepting these thoughts and following them, but no matter what I will defy it, these powers that control life and death that are still unknown to humanity, this fate that lead me down the path to the deep darkness I’m engulfed in, I will defy it, even if my life is taken, I will be the living proof that if something superior exists, we, humans, can control it, that we can be the rulers of our own world, the authors of our story. Who am I you may ask, I have no name, they simply call me by a word they created, and I will allow you to call me that as well. From now on my dear friend, you know me as D.A.R.E. The one who one day, will also be forgotten, will be buried like any other human being, but who will have fought till his last moments against fate and everything he knew as true, the one who defied the Gods.

Since we're talking about an event with an extremely low possibility of happening (not to say nule, I guess I'd just stay home and see what happens, if I was killed, good for the zombies, if I wasn't, no one would care anyway, since almost the whole world would have turned into zombies.

I guess I'd better explain myself before I'm killed on the spot. Well, for your avatar I gave 6/10 because its a low quality picture that problably was good in its original size, but is not as good in this version. About the signature, its a good colouring but there are definitlly spots on it that could be worked on, I guess you know what you mean, effects and all.

Well, it depends on which musics you're focusing on, I won't search for any of the ones I have in my MP4(since everyone knows that my memory is wonderful I just forget all the names ), also, I love Nirvana's musics, but I don't know much about the band itself, most singers have such great creativity that they copy other's musics, but I found some oldies like that too so, I guess there's no way we can compare the "oldies" with our "modern" since they are supposed to be completly different, being that each one is a reflex of their own time.
