The warm water had an odd calming effect on Dean. While in the shower, nothing else mattered. The water erased the tension in his muscles and washed the remnants of the days work away. Leaving him a clean canvas open to the events of the next day. It was more than soothing. The tears that had stained his face the previous night disappeared, along with the dirt from the alleyway. It had been a few days since he had last showered and there was no doubt he needed it. The only downside to taking a shower, was that Dean thought. He thought about many things. Usually about his dreams or about how hopeless the world was at this point. His mind was open to any sort of an attack in the shower. Luckily, it was place where he would be able to let a few tears escape and not be questioned later on. No one could see him here. His tears would be drowned with the rest of the water heading down the drain. However, this time, all Dean had to think about was Castiel. He was looking forward to going out into town. Just he and Castiel for once. After the shower, Dean wrapped a towel around his waist and dried off, and quickly threw on some more clothes. "I'm ready Cas." he called through the door.
