They circled around each other, talking, and each cast one fatal spell. It wasn't a long, drawn out duel that transpired all over Hogwarts.

Long Island... Our first big one in decades.

“Yeah,” Remus shouted. ”The bond between trainer and Pokemon matter. If they aren’t in synch, then it’s pointless.” He armed himself with a Pokeball. ”Quilava, bursting flame, shine!” Quilava appeared at his trainer’s side. “Swift, and you know where!” Remus commanded. Sensing his plan, Quilava used Swift. Venomoth braced for impact and released Pikachu, but the stars flew past it and pinned Winston to the ground. “Join us in saving the school, or you’ll be left here again!”

Hope’s the best! If you pause at the right second, his hair is longer, but his face is blocked. Yes, some change! All the others were already adults, so they shouldn’t change. Hope was a kid though; now we’ll have to see him older. Just looking at him for a second made me admire his shift to “cool looking” clothes. Serah picked up a back flip thing from Lightning. She’s looking awesome. Oh, and when I saw Hope I ran out of my room to show the family.

Nice post! Harry called him “You Know Who” because there was a taboo on the word “Voldemort.” Basically, if anybody said the word, Voldemort would know where that person was. Beaten-to-it. The spiders were neutral. They were angered by the disturbance in the forest and just sought to kill anything. Because the battle didn’t even occur in the book. Fans wouldn’t have missed it because it never would have existed.

Sorry, but I wish I understood the hype behind that movie. I hate horror films, but we watched it on the coach bus for an out of state competition. I was scared as anything b/c of the hype. But the movie was dull and slow, with no real action other than “AHH! The door slammed shut! I think there’s a ghost!” True, the teacher turned off the movie before the end, so we never saw the possessed wife attack (I Wikipedia’ed it), but to watch a dull movie for an hour and a half just to see a five minute scare doesn’t seem worth it to me. Can someone explain it to me if I’m missing something?

I watched HP7:DHpt2. If you're a real fan you know what I mean!

I’ve always loved Harry Potter. It inspired me to read and to love the English language. Hollywood however can sometimes have a “Hollywood Effect” on movies based off books. The only HP movies that I feel truly stuck to the book were The Sorcerer’s Stone and Deathly Hallows pt 1 (and Chamber of Secrets to some extent). I just watched DH pt 2, and I’m not sure about it. It was touching, entertaining, fun, relatively close to the book, but some things irked me. READ NO FURTHER IF YOU DON’T WANT TO BE SPOILED! 1. The Battle of Hogwarts being mixed up. I know it was to lengthen the movie, but so many events were mixed up. Such as Ron and Hermione kissing in the Chamber of Secrets and fighting Nagini instead of Bellatrix. Neville never said his best line: “I’ll join you when Hell freezes over!” to Voldemort. Don’t get me started on Volemort’s fight with Harry. Voldemort was supposed to go crazy over the death of Bellatrix and try to kill Molly. The fight with Harry was supposed to last, what, one spell? There was supposed to be a crowd when Voldemort was struck down! 2. NOT SHOWING FRED’S DEATH! It was the most depressing part of the book series. ”The ghost of his last laught, still etched upon his face.” The book made me cry. But the movie made him a mere casualty! Fred deserved more. Wouldn’t it have been better for them to cut time out of Harry and Voldemort’s unnecessary duel and add Fred’s death (and Percy’s return)? This left a bad taste in my mouth and kinda dampened my spirits the rest of the movie. 3. Rushing through the Epilogue. I won’t lie, it made me cry. But they should have done better. We didn’t see Teddy (Lupin and Tonk’s son) or Victore (Bill and Fleur’s daughter). We didn’t see the brotherly dynamic between Albus and James. We hardly saw Harry associate with his two best friends! And their make up; did they spend too much of their budget on explosives? Hermione looked 20, and Harry just didn’t shave. At least Ron put on some weight and they did alright with Ginny. 4. They hardly mentioned Ariana Dumbledore. I’ll stop there. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the movie. Other moments were great. The forcefield, the bank robbery, Snape’s death, Bellatrix’ death (NOT MY DAUGHTER YOU… DOG!) and Harry’s talk with both Albus’ were highlights. They just should have fixed up some parts. Opinions? Sorry it went longer than I intended; I got into it!

Red Knight This or That or Truth or Dare Confusing enough?

Lord of the Rings, either TTT or ROTK. I think TTT won b/c of the Helm’s Deep scene and Pippin. Although Eowyn was awesome in ROTK… I also love Harry Potter. The movies cannot match the books, but the 1st movie was so close I loved it. Deathly Hallows pt 1 was also extremely accurate, and although pt 2 was more moving and enjoyable, it lacked in accuracy. The fact that they excluded an on screen death left a bad taste in my mouth. So… 1. LOTR:TTT 2. LOTR:ROTK 3. HP1 4. HP7 pt 1 5. HP7 pt 2 6. LOTR:TFOTR

It’s a toss up between Squall and Lightning. Squall’s been my main since the original, but Lightning is more fun now. She won. Va’an and Yuna are runner ups.

OOC: We should do a quick check up and have everyone post their location situation at the top of at least one of our posts. So that we’re not running around like Torchics without heads for the next 10 pages.

“So let’s go,” Remus said. ”We’ve made good time. A quick stop to make sure nobody’s in trouble, and then back to our mission. Do you mind Suicune and Raikou?”

Remus nodded. “But that’s the weather institute. Isn’t there something wrong there? I feel like we should check it out, but it’s not the time.”

OOC: Serah will fight like Lightning, but with her own style added. Xehanort flew backwards. Before he could land, Serah unleashed a Thunderfall, which he dodged. She backed up slowly, shooting arrows until she was just out of range. “PARADIGM SHIFT,” she shouted, “CURA, CURA!” Her moves healed all her allies. They might just win this.

Remus stuck his finger onto Smeargle’s wet paint and drew his mark. This time it stuck. A thundercloud appeared overhead, and as a Thunderbolt crashed into the ground, and the legendary Raikou emerged. Remus made a running start and landed on Raikou, and Pachirisu jumped on with him. Raikou formed a thunder cloud under its feet, and hovered in the air. Remus shouted. “Let’s ride!”

Announced, but not seen! Yay for Pokemon!

Alright, I gotcha.

”Then we’d better go stop him!” Remus said. Then the wind whipped overhead as Lugia flew by. “HAZIMIE!” he shouted, but in vain. Remus thought about Hazimie needing more help, but he needed anything right away. “Zorua, Misdreavus, Deino!” The three Pokemon came out of their Pokeballs. Remus wrote a quick letter to each one of them and asked that they deliver them to someone in the school. The letter explained Hazimie’s situation and requested help at the Shamouti Islands. Misdreavus and Zorua ran to the school, but Deino lazed around. “Come on, please to this for me!” Remus told the dragon. Deino stood up and tottled towards the school. OOC: People, feel free to receive the letters from my three Pokemon. It’s up to you guys which one you run into. Remus and Sarah ran to the beach. Remus drew a symbol in the sand. “RAIKOU! Come help ride the waves!” But nothing happened. Remus turned to Sarah. “We need to support Hazimie now. We might need to ride Suicune to cross the sea.”

It's okay. I thought a train was derailed near my house!

Drex thought. “I’m not sure, but I felt an energy coming from that girl Serah and that boy Zack. I’m sure they have some. And Johnny’s keyblade blocked me from detecting whether he had one or not. And that Cloud feels fairly new, so I doubt he’s been trusted with any.”
